C++ :: Take Integer Score Inputs From Keyboard Into Array
Apr 2, 2014
This program is supposed to take integer score inputs from the keyboard into an array and use a sentinel of -999 to end the process.It should call a show() function which passes the array and displays the name and number of the integer for the output.
# include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main() {
int score(double array1[], int numbers);
[code].....
I am getting an error in the for loop r<number which states "Error identifier "numbers" is undefined" and on my array1 "Error identifier "array1" us undefined" also in my for loop.
I have a C++ WIN32 DLL that acts as a server for a UI. Now i want to capture all keyboard inputs in the PC on the WIN32 dll, whenever the UI has active focus. If the user is typing something into another app, i don't care.
The trick is that, the keyboard can be both a software keyboard or a hardware keyboard. I want to be able to capture every keyboard input from the user on the PC in which the UI and DLL is running.
A program that asks 10 positive integers and classify them as odd or even positive integer inputs. The algorithm has to trap negative integer inputs. The output will be displayed in two columns. ODD and EVEN.
here's my program code...
#include<iostream> using namespace std; main() { int countA;
#include <stdio.h> float total, avg, max, min; float judge[4]; int index; int array[4]; int main() { total = 0.0; max = array[0]; min = array[0];
[Code] ....
I dont understand how to make the array when it prints out only print out the final average and the final maximum score with the final minimum score but what its doing at the moment is just giving an average for each individual score taken...
Minimum and maximum scores are displaying 0.0
And it displays these things 4 times in a row i just want it to be displayed once.
I am trying to assign the integer value to unsigned char array. But it is not storing the integer values. It prints the ascii values. Here the code snippet
The values which are stored in uc[] is ascii values.I need the integer values to be stored in uc[]. I tried to do it with sprintf. but the output is not as expected. if I print the uc[i] it should diplay the value as 0,1,2....99.
How to traverse through this array and output each student and score that falls below the average. I think I may have the method down for traversing through the list to find the "total score" however, before proceeding under a possible wrong presumption, I would like confirmation as to whether or not I'm understanding this or botching this concept.
void dispLowScore(struct payload *arrayStart , //first element of array struct payload *arrayEnd ) //last element of array { int studentCount; //total number of students in list/array int totalScore ; //accumulated value of all scores added together float averageScore; //totalScore / studentCount
I have to complete a project that i want to read float numbers from keyboard and store them into an array of 10 elements.! Every time that a number stored into array i want to compare with previous one if they have +-10 difference .. I want to keep only 10 elements into my array so every time that i give value a[0] replace a[1], a[1] replace a[2],a[2] replace a[3]. . . .and a[10] deleted.. So when all elements of the array are similar with +-10 values print out the array.!
I have a project that requires I take user input from menu options and put it into an array which I will average out. I can set the menu up I think, but I cannot understand how to put what the user inputs into an array. Granted I just took the lecture on arrays today. Also we can only use functions to do the work.
I don't know how many numbers will be the input only that its going to be up to 10000. EOF should be active. I tried it like this:
Code:
int i = 0; int del[10000] while (scanf("%d",del[i])!=EOF) { i++; }
But it seems the value of i doesn't increment, could you provide some tips on how to scanf the inputs into an array if I don't know how many numbers will I have?
How to get user inputs into an array. I have to get 10 user inputs into the array and I'm trying to use a loop but once I run it it crashes whenever you input the first value. This is my absolute first time working with arrays and I've been trying to do research
#include <stdio.h> #define SIZE 10 void Input(const int array1[]); void Calculations(int array1[], int average); void Output(int array1[], int average);
Using the array to accept 10 testscore. Calculate and print the highest, lowest, fifth test score entered and all the test score entered in reverse order.
How i would get it to print the highest,and lowest and in reverse order. I'm confused as to what to do...
How can I stomp the arr size of 50 with the value the user inputs? The function doesn't sum up the even integers from 0 to the value the user inputs. Instead it sums up exactly that many even integers.
Is there a way I can stomp the size of the array with what the user inputs so that the sum calculation never goes past the value the user inputs?
Code: void sumIntegers () { int arr[50]; int i = 0; int num = 0; int sum = 0; printf("
This code is from my text book it shows how to implement code that is embedded I have modified it somewhat but I was wondering how I could get the user to implement the size of the array and enter the integers with the size of array that was implemented.
#include<iostream> #include<cstdlib> #include<iomanip> using namespace std;
Write a program using user-defined function which accepts an integer array and its size as arguments and assign the elements into a two dimensional array of integers in the following format: If the array is 1,2,3,4,5,6, the resultant 2D array is
I am having problem in writing the code for the problem "To assign the elements of 1-D integer array into 2-D array of integers such as if the array is 1,2,3,4,5,6 The resultant 2-D array should be like :
I have a problem concerning transforming int array into bmp image. I wanted to add a post in this topic: [URL] .... , but unfortunately it is closed. Actually I have a question concerning the code written by Duoas. I have a function which takes values from the file and I want to convert it into bmp with the use of Duoas code. I do it like that(it's Duoas code + my load and main function) Is it something wrong with how I do it or it's rather sth wrong with the file.
It compiles without errors but when I run it: core dumped.
According to gdb debugger problem is here: double hue = (intarray[ row - 1 ][ col ] - min_value) * granularity; programs stops, segmentation fault ...
here i have an assignment, creating a longInt class and using it to calculate large numbers, i dont have a clue how to manipulate a whole array as a single ineteger.
For Example, it the entered string is: 0324152397 I want it to get stored in an array like-[0] [3] ...[7]. Secondly the string entered may be of any length that is defined only at run time. So, I also need to calculate string length. How could I do that.
int main () { string integer1; string integer2; cout <<" enter your first number: " << endl; cin >> integer1; cout << endl; cout << integer1 << " is your first number" << endl; }
Now how do I turn the string integer into an array?
