I am trying to assign the integer value to unsigned char array. But it is not storing the integer values. It prints the ascii values. Here the code snippet
Code: uchar uc[100];
for(i=0;i<100;i++)
{
uc[i] = i;
}
The values which are stored in uc[] is ascii values.I need the integer values to be stored in uc[]. I tried to do it with sprintf. but the output is not as expected. if I print the uc[i] it should diplay the value as 0,1,2....99.

i was trying to solve a problem in SPOJ and what i wanted to do is to accept an input number from the user and to convert it into a array of integer.

But whenever i try to print the array in the main function i get only two value and the rest address

I am inserting elements from two files into 2-D arrays.Suppose I have generated this kind of code to create 2-D array:

I'm now working on a class to handle matrices and matrix operations. I dynamically allocate a two dimensional array with its size as an input. My problem is that i need to resize the matrix structure (to fit to the size of a product of two matrices or to adjust the size after deleting a row or column for example). I make the resizing by deleting the allocated 2d array after saving its first element address to another pointer to pointer, after saving the useful data in an other array, then i use new[] operator to create a new 2d array using the same address of the old deleted array.

Write a function that accepts an array of integers and its size as arguments. The function should create a new array that is one element larger than the argument array. The first element of the new array should be set to 0. Element 0 of the argument array should be copied to element 1 of the new array, element 1 of the argument array should be copied to element 2 of the new array, and so forth.
The function should return a pointer to the new array. Use ONLY pointer parameters instead of arrays in both functions; use pointers (not subscripts) to move through elements of both arrays. Before calling the function, display your original array. When the function call is completed, display the new array.

I'm working on a piece of code written long time ago. Without getting in the details or too much context here, there is a function that declares an array of char of a size of 350,000 elements, in order to fill it (using a pointer) with the list of all running processes on the machine (using "ps -ejf" on a Linux box).
The size of the char array has been changed from 40,000 to 350,000 sometime along the years, probably because of a lack of space required.
What kind on data structure / storage would you use to store the running processes in order to eventually search for a value in it?

I'm a little lost with this program. The idea is to dynamically allocate an array and increase its size every time a new integer is inputted by the user. I believe it is a memory leak but as we have just started learning this I'm not sure how to recognise it. Sometimes I can input as many integers as I want other times 2 or 3 before it crashes. When I can input enough values i exit the loop and send it to the sort function and mean calculator function, all works fine there except the last number inputted becomes this huge value not hexadecimal though... As such I'm at a loss as what to look at next, so here you go:

I got this program to create an array of playing cards and assign the values and suits and shuffle the array. I'm at the point where I need to output the cards but I need to burn the first card by making it output "**" instead of the card. my cards[] is a constant so I can's assign the first card as such.

How can I concatenate two 2-dimensional int arrays into one larger 3-dimensional array. This question is also valid for the 3-dimensional vectors. I know the command for the one dimensional vector as:
std::vector<int> results;
results.reserve(arr1.size() + arr2.size());
results.insert(results.end(), arr1.begin(), arr1.end());
results.insert(results.end(), arr2.begin(), arr2.end());
and for the one dimensional array as:
int * result = new int[size1 + size2];
copy(arr1, arr1 + size1, result);
copy(arr2, arr2 + size2, result + size1);
But I do not know how to make a 3-dimensional array or vector.

I have a 3D array that contains 200 strings. I'm trying to copy all these strings into a 2D array. How can this be done? This is what I have so far but it isn't working correctly.

I have been given an assignment which I understand pretty well, but I have a problem, and haven't been able to find a clear solution anywhere. I'm sort of a beginner in all this, so it's hard to understand what some people say.
So basically what I wanna do is assign a set of grades to every element in an array of a set number of students. I already have the part where you ask for the number of students you want to enter and then ask for their names and grades, but it can only enter one grade, and I can't figure out how to assign several grades and then get the average.
