When I input the password, the Backspace and the Enter keys are not working as they should. Also, I want to know if I can press enter only once to input the password, not twice.
Compiler is Turbo C++ 3.0 on Windows 7.
When the user gives no input, they have to press enter twice before "Done." is printed.

My program closes after the out even though i've used cin.get():

I have a problem where I need to add the ability to input numbers into a calculator program through either a form button press or keyboard press. I have the button press working fine though I can't seem to get the program to start with the cursor active in the textbox for keyboard input. I've use this.ActiveControl = result; "result" being the textbox. Though the issue here is the program starts off with the cursor active but only for the first instance of keyboard inputs.
Perhaps its the way I wrote the program but is there a way I can achieve this? I found a way to write this calc by having a single event for all button presses, opposed from an event for 1-9. Not sure if this is a good approach but here is some of the code.

I would like to know how to press a key as if it had been pressed on the keyboard in a program. I would also like to know how to read input from a xbox 360 controller. I want to know how to do this so that I can add joystick support to a few mmos that I play that do not already have it.

So I need to make a program that recieves a 10 letter only password, then once the password is entered, it starts off as AAAAAAAAAA...AAAAAAAAAB...AAAAAAAAAC...etc, Until it gets the correct password, which it then stops. I am trying to build a program that takes a user password (6+ characters, One uppercase, one lower case, and one number), and checks for errors. The idea is that if the user is doing something wrong (say, forgetting to use an uppercase letter), the program will tell them what the error is, and prompt them to enter the program again.
I get through the building process without errors, but whenever I run the program, I get this error: [URL] ....

I am trying to make a simple login program that reads username and password from a text file.
In my text file I have:

Everything is working okay with name1 and pass1, but if I try to log in with different credentials, for example name2 and pass2 it says "invalid details"

I'm trying to develop a deeper knowledge of how loops work (and what better way todo that than a dynamic password guesser). My main problem lies with the conflict between data types, as I try to point to a char at a specific index position of the password guess.

At the moment it just waits if you enter less than six numbers and if you enter any more than 6 it just ignores anything after the sixth number (so pretty much does nothing). Also if I entered 1 2 a b 3 4 instead of entering six numbers it would register that as 1 2 0 0 3 4 but I want it to make the user input the numbers again. I'm also aware that "while (1>0)" isn't good programming form but I'm not really sure what to use instead?
