I want to create a program using c++ which will accept text from the user and then adds it onto a image of a form in specific locations (if that makes sense?)
and what libraries will be required?
I'm basically trying to make a simple program that reads integers out of a text file and only adds the positive ones and not the negatives.
All is well except it won't take the last integer (the last line, I presume.) I took the negative out, nothing to do with that. I put more numbers in and I made the txt file less, no answer. No matter what the last number is, the program won't read it. I've been researching online and I've been seeing that it might be an issue with "while "!inFile.eof())".
Anyway here's the program:

The program adds 2 matrices that are 3x3 using arrays and then stores them into another matrix (array) and then it's edited to show a diagonal line of "0" through it, btw I'm pretty new to programming....

I am trying to write a program that adds numbers to an array. The array capacity starts out at 2, then doubles whenever the size reaches capacity. The program works perfectly fine when the array needs to be expanded. So I have narrowed down the issues into this one function (_dynArrSetCapacity)

I was told to use fgets instead of scanf for for stdin to parse the number and the quotation marks. I think I converted the number from string to integer correctly with strtol, but I really do not know how to obtain the (") or (') from user input so the program knows whether to convert the number to feet or just inches. No matter what I type in, even if it's without a quotation mark, it still multiplies the number by 12. In the IF and ELSE IF statement, it should state

I am absolutely clueless as to how I can get the user to upload an image to the program and then begin the image -> ASCII conversion. I've found seem to be written in C++ or C# to make the conversion I should be using the GetPixelColour command?
Taken from Accelerated C++ book, I modified those code to use getline() instead of std::cin >> only to find out that the output has extra line. Why is that so?

Notice one asterisk after the greeting where it should be in the same line as the greeting.
I've been having this odd problem when I write a file byte by byte, when I write a byte (dec)10 it adds a (dec)13 in front of it, and as far as I can tell, this is the only byte value that does this.
and most annoyingly, I can't read that (dec)13 with fstream, the only reason I know it's adds it, is because I used an external hex editor.

but the output file reads '0D 0A' (that's in hex, '13 10' in decimal) when viewed in a hex editor. no other number (that I've tried) adds that extra 13.

I am currently working on problem set 4 for Harvard's online CS50 course. I am working on a program that resizes a bmp image by a factor of N. N in entered along with an in-file and out-file in a command line argument. The program needs to calculate the header file for the out-file and write it to the out-file. It then needs to actually resize the image and, again, write to the out-file.
The first question I have relates to the header file, here is my code for calculating the header file:

At this point I need to actually resize the image. As far as I can tell there are 2 ways to go about this you either have to use an array to store each line you want to print repeatedly (and then you can just write it repeatedly) OR you have to move the pointer back in the input stream and repeat the read/resize/write process each time you need to print the row.
It is this that I am stuck on, first of all, I am not sure what system would be better for resizing the image, although I am leaning towards using an array, and regardless, I don't even know where to begin when in implementing either.
So what I am asking for is, first of all, just a "double check" to make sure my header code makes sense. And second of all, a push in the right direction for actually resizing the image. Here is my complete code:

I use some restrictions with the `fscanf()` library and read the file, just for the record, and if everything goes fine I proceed to the next part of code (I know I could use `fget()`, but this is how I done it).The next part of the code will be this:
- First, I want the program to read the numbers from right to left. I look for an answer in google and many C courses, but I couldn't find a working solution. I think that the code is pretty simple, though I can't find it. **To be clear for the next part, we read the numbers from right to left.**
- Then, this is the hard part for me: I want the program to read the numbers and if the next number is higher (**not equal**) than the last one to keep it in memory, **only if it's higher than the last.** This can be continue for **1 through 500.000 numbers.**
- Then when the procedure done, I want to print how many numbers are greater than the last one and save it to a file, which I can do it if I solve the last problem.
We have the below numbers:

The program starts to read the numbers from right to left.Now which and how many numbers are greater than the last one?
