C++ :: Selecting Arrays With Maximum Number Of Elements

Supposing you have a 3 or more overlapping arrays (arrays having elements in common), and you wish to select 2 or more of the arrays with the maximum number of elements but less overlap as compared to the rest of the overlapping arrays.
Eg. A[4],B[6],C[5]. A+B contains 10 elements but say the overlapping element is 3, meaning it has 7 unique element.
Also B+C=11 elements , but supposing it has 5 overlaps, it would mean it has only 6 unique elements. A+B+C=15. Supposing the overlaps are 11 then it means the unique elements are 4. Ect. So per the example, the best array options with most unique element would be A+B .

I have N vectors which look like this:
[1→m] [m+1→2m] [2m+1→3m] [3m+1→4m] [4m+1→5m]..... [{(N-1)m}+1→Nm]
I want to select 1 element from each vector without duplication of any combinations.
Essentially only when all combinations are done with 1st element in first vector ,only then it should move to next element in first vector say i have elements :[123] [456] [789]
my combinations should be like
147
148
149
157
158
159
167
168
169
247….
Also, i need no repetitions and only after all combinations of 1 are done only then the loop has to move to next combination ie 247 combination and so on.
i tried NCK (n choose k) command but it gave me random combinations.how should i go about it with using minimal for loops

I have come across a problem lately. You are given a set of n sets with m variables.. for instance {a,b,c,d}, {b,c,d}, {b,c}, {c,e,f}, {e,f}. And you want to eliminate elements from these sets with the restriction that you can only eliminate one item from each set and each item can only be eliminated from one set (i.e. if you've eliminated b from set {a,b,c,d}, then you cannot eliminate it from {b,c,d}). The problem is writing an algorithm which determines the maximum number of elements you can eliminate. And I'm hopelessly stuck... of course, you could backtrack it and determine this number but I feel it could be done more efficiently..

3. Swap the adjacent pairs of arrays
4. Display the values in array

The problem says that i have a number n > 0 and the program should determinate the number between 2 and N who has the maximum divisor sum (1 and N wont count as divisor). If i have more numbers with maximum divisor sum, should wrote only first number. Exemple: for N = 100 , will show 96 bcoz he has the maximum divisor sum, which is 155. For the start i tried to show only the maximum divisor sum, not the number who has the maximum divisor sum with this code:

If I have 2 arrays, say array1 = {2, 2, 4, 5, 6} which has sorted array elements and array2 = {4, 2, 6, 2, 5} that has same elements as array1 but not in sorted condition. How can I compare that both arrays have same elements. I have written the following code which works in all conditions except when array1 has two same elements and array2 has all different elements.

I'm confused about accessing elements from arrays. Supposed I have an array of pointers to char:
char *names = { "John", "Rose", "Steven" };
To access one of the strings, should I use names[ 0 ][ i ], where i is an index in the set ( 0, 1, 2 ), or should I use names[ i ]? I would think it would be the first option, because this array has 1 dimension that contains others arrays, right?

So I'm trying to make two arrays, then the third array that will include common elements of those two arrays. I did make a code for that, but the problem is I don't know how to include that the elements do not repeat.

I can have at most 3 structs in array, but it could be 0,1,2 or 3 structs in array. I am trying to avoid dynamic memory allocation. I initialize sensors to 3 to reserve space for them in memory, since there may be at most 3 elements in the array. But I am testing a condition where there will only be 2 elements:

How can I figure out how many elements were really inserted into array, not just allocated to array?

I have a function where i declared the number of elements in a vector alocated dynamically which returns the vector to the main function. The problem is how can i find the number of elements in main function? I tried length = sizeof(a) / sizeof(int) which gives me the same value, the value of the first element. Here's the code:

I think std::copy appears to do what I'm looking for.
I'm in need of a vector member function that would allow me to "insert" a number of elements from one vector into another vector without resizing or destroying either.
An example of what I'm wanting to do is assign the contents of two[3-5][50-54] to one[7-9][2-6]. Other than looping through both vectors using .at(), is there a way to copy this?
This would be continuous within a user controlled loop with differing elements being exchanged.
