View 1 RepliesI'm making a calculator project but i can't find a solution for backspace button ,, i used these code -->
TxtNumber.Text.Remove(0,1);
But it removed the first number i wrote in the TxtNumber(TextBox) not the last one !!!!
i wanna no if i can make the program generate a different number everytime you guess the number right and want to play again. it always generates the same number
#include <iostream>
#include <ctime>
#include <cstdlib>
[Code].....
So I'm trying to make a program that asks the user for a number and then prints a statement the same number of times the user entered. 3 different statements, using the 3 loops (for, while, and do while). I made the program but for some reason the statement from the do while loop goes off infinitely.
MY CODE:
The error:
I'm having with header files, specifically to do with the string data type. The objects work perfectly when I put them inside the .cpp but when I set it to include the exact same code in a .h, I get a string of error messages.
class Topic
{
private:
string NInfo, SInfo, EInfo, WInfo, Name ;
bool Quest ;
[code]....
The program i am trying to make is for practice of using switch. the idea is the user enters a number and the program will print a day of the week corresponding to said number.
the statement is not complete with all cases yet, but i dont want to write all of it until i am sure of it being correct.
errors when compiling (gcc) are as follows
1 warning and 3 errors generated.
Robins-MacBook-Air:array2 RDenton$ gcc array2.c
array2.c:26:9: warning: format string is not a string literal
(potentially insecure) [-Wformat-security]
printf(a[uservalue]);

I have to make a program that takes a number input from the user and prints the corresponding fibonacci sequence number. For example, for the input of 3, it should print 2 since the third term in the fibonacci sequence is 2.
I am not sure how to do this so for my attempt, I used the formula found in this website. A Formula for the nth Fibonacci number
Here is the program so far. It doesn't produce the correct output.
Code:
#include <stdio.h>
#include "genlib.h"
#include "simpio.h"
#include "math.h"
[Code]....
Write a program to make a table for any input number and then continuesly ask to press y to print more table and if you press any key other than y then program must be terminate using while loop and do while loop. How to start or end with it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I need to make a program that counts the number of words, lines, and vowels in a program. Punctuation and white spaces are not counted in any of the counts. I have this so far and the words, and lines work and are correct but I can't seem to get the vowel count to work.
#include <iostream>
#include <fstream>
#include <cmath>
#include <cstdlib>
#include <string>

We have to make a function integrate to work with the other functions given. I had it working before but I would only get all -4 as my answers but only the first one should be -4. what should more or less be put in my integrate function?
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
typedef double (*FUNC)(double, double, double) = (line, square, cube);
double integrate(double FUNC, double a, double b){
for(int i=0; i<a && i<b; i++){
FUNC = a-b;

I have a WPF DataGrid with DataGridTemplateColumns, when I select rows and use Ctrl+C, and then in Excel or any document Ctrl+V, no data is pasted. If I change columns to DataGridTextColumn then copy and paste works fine. What can I do to make work copy & paste with DataGridTemplateColumn? Also when I set ClipboardContentBinding="{Binding FirstName}" for the template column, Null Refrence exception is thrown.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got a calendar in Form 1 in my code, and buttons in Form2. I need these buttons to send codes for this calendar in Form1. How may I make these work? My friend told me to do a function as a new class, but I'm not sure how can I do this.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have to make a maze with arrays, but i cant seem to move down or up or at all. Here is what I have so far
#include <iostream>

the code use in above link is good but one problem i cant able to use backspace to remove mistake if user made any mistake he cant able to remove the mistaken character
I wrote a program with function my own function which count the digits of entered number. The problem is whatever i type it shows 0 digits.Why is that?
Code:
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int cikCipari (int skaitlis, int cipars);
int main()
[Code] .....
In the following char array, notice the use of a backspace character in a string literal: ''.
char text1[50] = "aHello,
World! Mistakee was "Extra 'e'"!
";
What exactly does a backspace character do here? When the compiler evaluates this line, does it actually delete the previous character, like when you press the backspace button on the keyboard?
How to avoid using Backspace character with push_back? I'm making a software as an ATM, so when the user try to enter the password the user only sees *******, but when trying to delete it doesn't delete a character. It just adds a new one. Here's my code:
string password2 = "";
cout << "PASSWORD: ";
ch = _getch();
while(ch != 13) //character 13 is enter {
password2.push_back(ch);
cout << '*';
ch = _getch();
}
And also, I try to use pop_back(); but it doesn't work either.
I have a program matrix multiplication but it work not for big arrays. n should be bis 200.

I have client-server program that written with c++. Both client and server program are working on my computer.Also, I test it on many computer.There is no problem with it.But, When I try to run that program on the my windows server 2003. I get error which on the below.

I researched it and someone said that it is related 32-64 bit system . My windows server is 32 bit. And I am compiling as 32 bit. But I still get error , can not get any answer with it.
im trying to write a program that prompts the user to enter three numbers and then prints them vertically (each on one line), first forward and then reversed. this is how the design should look:
enter three numbers: 1 43 54
your numbers fowards:
1
43
54
your numbers backwards:
54
43
1
this is what i have thus far when it comes to code....
#include <stdio>
int main (void) {
// local declarations
int a;
int b;
int c
[code].....
Title is self-explanatory.
Code:
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main ( ) {
float number;
float sum;
float divi;
while(number != -1) {

I got problem with the loop and Q(remains same = Q1 in output). How to make the random number to be different for x and y???
#include<stdio.h>
#include<time.h>
#include<math.h>
#include<stdlib.h>
int Random();
void Position(int z,int y);
[Code] ....
Something that does something like this
at this point run a loop for all players, in this loop use random to determine the face and depending on the face run a loop (for roll again etc) or give next user the chance.
And this loop is 2-12 people, all rolling die.
They draw 3 die out of a cup of 12.
Then they roll the 3 die, getting fish, hook, or boot on each die.
I have a class called items and stored in a vector as vector<items*> item.now I want to make a function to return the placement # that the item is stored at with a unsigned int. but if I don't find the item is there like a null unsigned int that can be returned.
unsigned int someFunc(vector<items*> item)
{
unsigned int size = item.size();
for (unsigned int i = 0; i < size; ++i)
{
if (item[i]->getItemName() == "sword")
{
return i;
}
}
//i need code here incase the item is not there
}
because the item might not be there and i would like to do a line if(unsigned int) do this code
My while loop is the problem. I want to use a non-recursive function to make the triangle number the sum of all whole numbers from 1 to N.
#include "stdafx.h"
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int triangle(int t);
[Code] ....
I'm trying to determine the number of times I have to change each specific character in a string to make it a palindrome. You can only change a character one at a time from the end.
Example: "abc" -> "abb" -> "aba" should print 2. "aba" will print 0 because it's already a palindrome. "abcd" -> "abcc" -> "abcb" -> "abca" -> "abba" will print 4 because it took 4 changes to make a palindrome.
I'm not too sure how to approach this - I figured out the case where if it's a palindrome (if reversed string is the same) then it'll print out a 0.
int main() {
int number;
cin >> number; //expecting a number for first line user input
for (int i = 0; i < number; i++) {
string str;
[Code] ....
