C/C++ :: How To Change Position Of Image And Button On Window
Jan 12, 2015
The question says:
Place an Image on top of a Button. Move both when the Button is pushed.
Please have a look at this code:
#include <GUI.h>
using namespace Graph_lib;
//------------------------------------------------
class rotation : public Window {
public:
rotation(Point xy, int w, int h, const string& title):
Window(xy,w,h,title),
[Code] ....
The problem is that, it is not possible to define an Image in public/private part of the class rotation. Image needs all arguments to be supplied even when declaring one. (Image is here in Graph.h)
And if I define that Image in the body of main() function, so how to provide access for void rotate() to change its position with the position of button simultaneously.
btnStatusPlr1.Image SHOULD come back as True.Then I realized it might not be the same as setting the buttons image in the properties (Which is what i did to get the original image (the one being compared to))
I do have a feeling ive done something wrong here (Yes im a noob /> )
Variable active, is the same image as the buttons default (Well should be)
POINT p; for (int i = 0;; ++i) { HWND hwnd = GetConsoleWindow(); system("cls"); if (ScreenToClient(hwnd, &p)) { //p.x and p.y are now relative to hwnd's client area } cout << p.x << " " << p.y; Sleep(200); }
I'm looking for a function that gives current mouse position(x and y) in that particular console window. I've tried above code but it is not working.
I've been doing some looking and this example seems like the common way to remove the close button on a wpf window. Other than catching the on_click event or using that example, is there no better way to disable/remove that button?
I wrote a C# program to open and set the position of the TabTip keyboard I can open the keyboard and find the window handle by calling "FindWindow("IPTip_Main_Window",null);" using spy++ I verified that I get the correct handle when I call SetWindowsPos it returns true but the keyboard is not moving.
[DllImport("user32.dll")] static extern bool SetWindowPos(IntPtr hWnd, IntPtr hWndInsertAfter, int X, int Y, int cx, int cy, uint uFlags); [DllImport("user32.dll")] static extern IntPtr FindWindow(string ClassName, string WindowName); IntPtr hWnd=FindWindow("IPTip_Main_Window",null); if(hWnd!= (IntPtr)0) { SetWindowPos(hWnd, (IntPtr)0, ToX, ToY, 0, 0, 0x0045); }

It's here [URL] exercise no.3
look at this code:

I've encountered a problem, whenever I debug the project, the window shown flickers with the image I'm trying to render and it doesn't respond (shows the loading cursor symbol) also the console window doesn't even open at all, Here's the code:
#include <iostream> #include <SDL.h> #include <SDL_image.h> #include <SDL_mixer.h> using namespace std; int main(int argc, char** argv){ cout<<"HI!!!!"<<endl; system("pause");
tell me the EASIEST way to create a button with an image on it.
I am not interested in using the owner draw property with CBitmapButton and then have to create a whole lot of bitmaps for all the different button states.
There must be a way to simply create an ordinary button which displays an image rather than or as well as a caption....?
I have created an application that has bunch of buttons on top and i want to change the image when I click on the button. But unfortunately I can't get it to work.
Here is the code:
if (serialPort1.IsOpen) { tsbCommPortOpenClose.ToolTipText = "Open serial port"; closeCommPortToolStripMenuItem.Text = "Open serial port"; tsbCommPortOpenClose.Image = Image.FromFile("Red.bmp"); serialPort1.Close(); [Code] ....
The second one which changes the image to "image2" works fine. Here is the definition of image2:
When I do the same with the other image that I want to use, it won't work! I opened the project properties and added the image into the resources too, and it still doesn't work. It fails and says the file was not there. I've put a copy of the file in the root directory and one in "Resources" folder but it still doesn't work.
I am creating a website in which a user can upload an image to a sql database. It is converted to varbinary and then read into an Image object using a http handler to convert it to an image. this all works fine. When I open an popup window I am reading data from specific rows into textboxes, thus when the user confirms any changes the rest of the data stays the same. How can I hold the Image and redisplay it when returning to the main page after closing the pop up. It currently sets the image in the database to null as the file upload object has not been given a directory location all the time. This is my attempt at reading the image from the database and then reapplying it if the file upload is empty
private void ChangeFilm(int id) { SqlConnection con = new SqlConnection(my settings go here); con.Open();
Background: I'm making a small game using CodeBlocks and SDL. All of the code resides in a class named Game - the only thing running in Main is the creation of the Game object and the class function execute(). So far, I've made a Start Menu with three clickable buttons. I'm in the midst of making one of the buttons - Load Game - change the game screen to the Load Game menu. Basically, when the user clicks the button, the image on screen changes according to the button they click.
Issue: After successfully making the Load Game button change the image on the screen, I found that the SDL window mysteriously closes out several seconds after the image change. What is causing this - the window stays on perfectly fine until the background image is changed and the only way to break the loop is for the player to click the x on the window. I've gone over the code several times and haven't found anything that might be the cause.
Output: - Window with an Start Menu image and a button with the words "Load Game". - If user clicks the X on the window, the window closes. - If user clicks "Load Game" button, Start Menu image changes to Load Game image. After about seven seconds, the window automatically closes out. This isn't supposed to happen.
Kinda like in properties, where you choose the height and width of the window, but in actual code. So everybody who open my program see the same window.
I made 2 forms and Form2 has buttons with images like planets and game wallpapers etc. When I write the code for button:
this.BackgroundImage = new Bitmap(Properties.Resources._8_8008_by_amplifier404); this.BackgroundImageLayout = ImageLayout.Stretch;
// where _8_8008_by_amplifier404 is name of the image located in resources
It only changes background in form which has those buttons as long the form is used. Once I go back to form1 it's changed to null. How to set background in all forms with a button click which will be there until another button with an image is clicked.
I want create menu button to change font of CString displyed in main window. We can see string "SAMPLE",and when i press menu button that i created i want to string "SAMPLE" to display with different font,i already created CFont object and added italic style with CreateFont;
This is my menu function:and CString m_text and CFont font1 are declared in FesbDoc.h
I have created an exam environment for our schools, it comprises of 3 files; a .kix file that says if they are in the examination group run a .vbs file. The .vbs file kills the explorer.exe task so they don't have any taskbar or desktop shortcuts and then opens a .hta file.
The .hta file is a user interface that has icons for apps like Win Word that executes the application when you click on it. There is also a log off button.
Looking for some code that stops the students from being able to close, minimise and resize the window. Looking for code that can lock this down so they literally can't do anything except click the icons inside the window.
Basically i have a 'HomeWindow' with a button 'OptionWindow'. My idea is that the 'OptionWindow' button will open up the 'OptionWindow'. Which will give the user three options 'Option1', 'Option2' and 'Option3'. If they pick 'Option1' then in the 'HomeWindow' in a stackpanel i want it to display 'UserControl1'. Where as if they pick 'Option2' then in the 'HomeWindow' in a stackpanel i want it to display 'UserControl2'.
If you need some of my code that i have already then let me know what you need as i have a lot of it so can't paste it all in one go. But the new thing i need is the way of making the user-controls in the 'HomeWindow' change depending on what is selected in the 'OptionWindow'.
I am developing an app that shows a pixelated picture in a window. I am trying to capture the image, which is composed of a number of tiles processed from a mother image, but I am having difficulty since I can't reference the image on the screen. I have placed a rectangle around the image and my understanding is that I have get the window handle for the rectangle in order to save the Image as a jpg file. In the literature there is something about a Device Context and a window handle but my compiler throws out HWND and I don't really understand the device context. I am using Windows Forms, not native code.
I am new to programming . My task is to change the background of the app so that every time I open the app I get a different background image and every minute the background image changes. I am a complete noob and I am trying to do this for almost 36 hours now. I am getting really depressed right now. Every time I am trying to write a code, there's an error.
I've been working on making a sprite generator and this is one thing that has kept giving me difficulties. No matter what I've looked up nothing directly says how to nor can I find anything on a similar topic to try and apply to it either. I know how to add the resources and names for the options but how do I get the options to make my picturebox image change in relation to the selection?
My goal is to have couple of items in the listbox and when highlighting one item a image in the picturebox should appear, and so on for each item in the listbox.I just don't know how to change image depending on selected item in the listbox instantly.Also when i highlight item a text in label should be like in highlighted item in listbox.
What I have to do is write a small program in C++ to parse the symbols that are used on 5 different lines of text in each position until position 30 is reached on each line. The goal of the parsing program is to interpret the symbols (characters), if there are any per each position, on the 5 lines of text in order to output the actual data that the group of symbols represents.
My question for is this: Is there anything special from a C++ environment that should go in to something like this outside of using standard stuff like the math associated with the search algorithm that has to happen here? The symbols are located in a file, so I know I have to include "iostream" and a few other headers. But outside of header inclusions and the code necessary to iterate and streamline the search and interpretation process, am I missing anything special that I couldn't otherwise find through simple google searches?
