Visual C++ :: Edit / Update And Display Group Of 40 Parameters On Screen
Feb 26, 2014
I need to edit ,update and display a group of 40 parameters on screen. (10 parameters per page and use of Arrow Key pad or touch screen clicks to modify value)....
For that I will need .. Parameter No . , String Name , Point Screen Cord , double value , next element no. etc I have my old code with structure and array of structure written in C. I have translated it on C++/MFC .
If I include the last line of code here I get a stack overflow error. If I don't include it, I can run through the debugger and the buffer CString is converted to hex just like I want, I just can't display it because I get that error.
This is a small program that reads a line from the screen, takes the ASCII values from the entered text, and edits it. Next, the ASCII values are reinterpreted (am i misspelling?) as text, and displayed. However, my final output has (allways?) at least 7 characters, even if you enter only one. I'm also trying to accomplish, that the part of the string which isn't filled, will be printed empty. In spaces.
compiled with -std=c99.
Code: #include <stdio.h> int main(){ int maxsize; printf("How long is your message?
How to sum groups in C++? I have a class with 2 attributes (Group and Price). I need to find the group with the highest amount. I can find the max when it comes to finding a set of individual numbers but not when a group is required. For Ex:
Group A64 Group A48 Group A18 Group B49 Group B36 Group C64 Group C75 Group C87 Group C72
I have a problem with UDP Multicast. I managed to send UDP Multicast telegrams and receive them. But when I receive the telegram I need to find out to which multicast group address it was sent. So far I have:
When I read from.sin_addr.S_un.S_addr; then I get the original IP Adresse from the sender PC but I also would like to know to which group address it was sent. Is there a way to get this infoamtion?
I am suppose to make a program that will output a line for a specific age group,but everytime I execute the exe file it gives me the desired line and also the last line included everytime.Where did I go wrong with it including the last line everytime?
#include <iostream> using namespace std; int main() { double age; cout<<"Enter your age:"; cin>>age; if (0<age && age <6)
I have to write a program that stores information about students and displays results (Formated). Example-
Inputs ( # of students, First and Last name of student, the gender, age, and hieght. (height inputed as inches and outputed as feet and inches))
Student 2 --------- Jett, Joan Female 100 years old 5' 7"
Ive been falling behind a little due to working late and barely having time for my school work. Coming across several issues, one being an error with GENDER (Error C4700: uninitialized local variable 'gender' used:). As well as how to format the end result, i understand that u have to use #include <iomanip>, but am confused on how to format correctly.
Is it possible to edit the message map at startup instead of just having it set at compile time?
I'm reading some values from an XML file at startup. The menu options will be determined from what I find in there. But I need to assign those menu options to the message map.
I have a tabbed dialog with a couple of Separate dialogs. I created classes of CDialog for each dialog. Im trying to get the text from the edit control from the tabbed dialog and it appears in a message box when I press a button on the main dialog.
Code: myDialog test; test.UpdateData(TRUE); CString bla = test.m_edit1; test.UpdateData(FALSE); MessageBox(bla,bla,MB_OK);
The m_edit is a variable of CString for the edit box
it gives me a error and crashes.
How do I get the text from the other dialogs edit control?
Found an online suggestion of using an rc2 file and cut and paste stuff from .rc file to .rc2 file to see which line causes the problem but don't know how to create a blank .rc2 file. Problem started after I ported from VC++ 6 to VS2010.
I have a dialog box with several edit control boxes and I want to identify the edit control when I click the left mouse button on it. Any button action (up or down) doesn;t register when the mouse is clicked on any of the edit controls. There has got to be a simple way to do this.
In the following example, SET_DARKENING_PARAMETERS_0 is a fairly simple macro which accepts 9 parameters. The first one is called driver and the other 8 are all ints. Basically, the 8 x ints get assigned to the first 8 elements of an array which is owned by driver. I can call the macro successfully if I do this:-
But the two combined macros won't compile with VC8. Basically, I get warning #C4003 (not enough parameters for macro 'SET_DARKENING_PARAMETERS_0') followed by a load of syntax errors. However, the code (allegedly) compiles with gcc.
I'm wondering if macro CONFIG_OPTION_DARKENING_PARAMETERS might be getting truncated to just 500, (with the following parameters getting ignored)?
I'm using the Visual C++ Express 2008 and i need to pass as parameters to a function characters coded in UTF 8. My environment is Windows 7. The editor of the VC++ write in UTF 8 or UTF 16? If it writes in UTF 16 how can i change it?
I am wanting to separate the logic from the visual, but I'm having problems when calling the method that controls the actions of the progress bar timer.
Error1error C2182: 'set_Progress' : illegal use of type 'void'h:cry_devprogrammingc++school_mediaschool_mediaForm1.h277 Error2error C2078: too many initializersh:cry_devprogrammingc++school_mediaschool_mediaForm1.h277 Error3error C2440: 'initializing' : cannot convert from 'System::Windows::Forms::Timer ^' to 'int'h:cry_devprogrammingc++school_mediaschool_mediaForm1.h277
I checked through the net and most of the solution like clrcr(); is not working for microsoft visual 2010. SO i was wondering for those who was using the same ver of c++ as me how do you clear the screen?
I'm trying to determine (from my Win32 process) if a Metro (or a Modern UI) app is currently displayed on the screen. I found the IAppVisibility::GetAppVisibilityOnMonitor method that can do just that, and I even found a C++ sample, but my issue is that I'm compiling it with the Visual Studio 2008 that does not have the definitions for the IAppVisibility interface, so the following:
I have a visual impairment that makes it very hard for me to use the standard dark text on white background themes. I use High Contrast but many apps don't query the system for colors (I.E. aren't theme-aware) and consequently display pale or dark text on a white background regarding of the theme selected.
There is a product called ZoomText that allows for inverting the brightness of everything being displayed. I just use a normal theme, let all apps display naturally, and then invert the entire screens brightness.
But ZoomText doesn't support multiple monitors. And it does a lot more than I need. And it hogs the CPU. And it costs a lot.
Looking for some of the APIs that I need to capture the bitmaps for all monitors, invert the brightness of all pixels, and refresh the display contexts. And make that happen so smoothly that it appears like there is nothing going on behind the scenes. (DirectX, OpenGL, ???)
By using visual studio 2010, I have problem calling up on screen keyboard using line below for Windows 7 64 bit.
WinExec("OSK.EXE", SW_SHOW);
However, it is working fine on windows XP 32 bit. How to call up on screen keyboard for 64 bit windows?
Code:
int _tmain(int argc, TCHAR* argv[], TCHAR* envp[]) { int nRetCode = 0; HMODULE hModule = ::GetModuleHandle(NULL); if (hModule != NULL) { // initialize MFC and print and error on failure
