I have a project in VS2005 and I'm trying to add the two-finger panning gesture. Problem is, there doesn't seem to be a way to add this in Visual Studio 2005. None of the windows gesture code seems to be there. Is there a way to add this in VS2005, or can I only do this in VS2008 or later?
View 1 RepliesI'm struggling with the pan gesture in a desktop application for my Surface Pro 2.
I simply want to pan (or "swipe" if you prefer) with two fingers, but it doesn't behave like I want it to. If I put two fingers on the screen and move them straight diagonally, I receive a series of client coordinates that are aligned in a vertical or horizontal direction. Only if I perform some circular motion, then it's suddenly possible to move diagonally and receive coordinates accordingly.
I've tried with MFC, by overriding CView::OnGesturePan. I've also tried with a sample project provided by Intel, that handles the GID_PAN message in WndProc to move a rectangle around, but with the very same result. The project can be downloaded from [URL] ... fordesktop.zip, so you can quickly reproduce the behaviour if you have a touch screen.

I first thought it had to do with the points being too close to each other. I mean, if two points lies only one pixel apart, it can only result in eight different directions. But if I modify the code to only update "m_first" when the distance between the points are greater than some minimum distance, the points still keep being projected to a horizontal or vertical line relative to the first starting point.
I created a new project in Qt Creator, the files included are the .Pro file, and the .Cpp file.
Qt does not recognize the headers I try to reference in the .Cpp file. I am pretty sure it's because of what I don't have in my .Pro file. What do I add to it?

I was created a dynamic library (Used win32 App) & compiled with no error.
Then i was created my main application (MFC) & paste the .h,.lib,.dll files from the source path(dll App Path) to destination path(Main App Path). If i used the below command in my app means the project working good.

I have migrated my MFC application from Visual Studio 6 to VS2010. But the UI controls still looks the same as of old theme. How can i add the manifest file now to get the UI controls to be displayed as of the current OS theme. i.e. Win7 look if the application is run on windows 7.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to add a MFCToolBar to the header of a MFCPropertySheet because every page which will be dynamically added during runtime will be using the same toolbar and if it IS possible I would much rather do it this way instead of putting the same toolbar on every page. I have enabled the header with height of 48 and have implemented the MFCToolBar code first in the constructor then in OnCreate. It does not generate any errors during compiling or at runtime however the toolbar does not show.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble finishing this program. What I'm trying to do is create a class for Rational numbers. Get input from user for denominator and numerator. Store the numbers without a sign, and for the sign store it separately in char. I'm not supposed to use accessor functions. The part that I can't seem to know how to do is use the info that was stored in the addUp function. This function need to add two rational numbers. i need to make this function general enough that it can handle two fractions, or a fraction and a whole number, or two whole numbers. What I already have here is readin function which reads in the numerator and denominator. setnumerator and setdenominator to assign positive values. setsign should get the sign of the fraction. Finally addUp should addUp which I explained before. I have some ideas about writing the tests, but can't seem to know how to implement it to the program. The main program is still empty but all I'm supposed to do there is call the class functions.

I am stuck at the idea of the "Cookies Per Second" thing.
Is there a way to implement a per second adder thing that doesnt actually effect the game play (eg even though the player may not be pressing C every second a cookie (or more) will be added, or if they can press C more than once a second, every second a cookie will be added... However when I and try to pass the single number as an parameter to the AddTwoStrings() method, It actually passes the entire number as such.
When I pass string[0],string[1] it should pass the first and second number from the files as the two numbers instead of the whole number as such.The function AddTwoStrings() doesn't do anything as of now, I encountered this error when I was testing the code till this part.
