I have to write a program, that multplicates very large numbers (out of range of long int). It's said that i need to use arrays and read the numbers as strings. My problem is to end function called "mnoz:, because i don't know how to sum the multiplicated values of arrays a and b.

Opening large files in c++. In my application, i am trying to save video as long as users have space in harddisk. What I am trying to do is when user is recording video i am trying to append the video data in to the file. The problem is that every time file size reach over 2GB my software crashes.

I'm having problems with progress bar when using a big number in set range. For numbers below 50000 it works very well but for big numbers like 100.000 it doesn't work, it makes 2-3 rounds of animation

I am working on a program which creates a large pointer array of numbers and then performs several iterations of operations in them.
Code:

If M is small enough then there are no problems in the program. However once M is large enough I get the "unhanded exception":
std::bad_alloc at memory location 0x0026f728..
Since I am just reusing the same arrays, and since I am able to make it through a few iterations, I didn't think it could be a memory issue. If it is, is there a way I can clear the data completely after each iteration?

I've been working on this program to create a simple desk calculator for a school assignment, and I managed to finish. All we had to do was add, subtract, multiply, and divide positive integers - and I was able to do that just fine. This program got me thinking though, because I do not know how to write commands to multiply/divide negative numbers.
In fact, when I divide a number like 21 by 4, it comes out to 5 because I don't know how to allow it to compute remainders (which wasn't a requirement for my program). This intrigued me so I've been trying to figure it out for the last few days but to no avail. Here's my code:

How can I read a file that contains numbers only, but read it by three digits at a time? I have a long string of numbers and every three digits corresponds to a particular number in itself. i.e. a string of 064045154 would need to be read as '064' '045' and '154'. I need to then subtract one from each of these numbers and the new values I need to convert into their ASCII characters and place these in a new file. This is what I have (focusing on the 'Decrypt' function) but all it does is in the new file place a string of the same character repeated over and over a total number of times equal to the number of integers in the numbers file.

And i need the reverse of this (nibble wise) in other long long int variable.

It should be efficient and fast. It is useful to calculate the Factorial 100000, and then I calculate the number of the module.

Why this class doesn't work for Subtraction, Division and Square Root. When I try to get results for Subtraction, it output right answer, but with any trash. And When I try to get answer for Division and Square Root, it just brakes and don't output anything. For Addition and Multiplication class work correctly.

My program behaves weird... I wanted to generate 10 random numbers from 1 to 100 each of them bigger than previous, using the while loop and function that returns a random number in specified range.
When I run the program, I get numbers much bigger than 100, even negative number, and numbers are same every time I run the program.

Ok so I'm reading the Programming: Principles and Practice using C++ and Im stuck in Drill 4 part 5. It says:
Change the program so that it writes out the "numbers are almost equal" after writing out which is the larger and the smaller if the two numbers differ by less than 1.0/10000000

I want to make an array with a range of number from 1-9 only. So if the user entered more than or less than the number indicated it will be error and ask the user to reinput the data. So far my code can be used to do so that if the user enter the number one by one... But if the user entered all the number in one shot the reentered value will be prompt to the back automatically for some reason...Let say 10,2,3,4 which was suppose to be 1,2,3,4 became 2,3,4,1 instead... here is the code:

I'm currently working on an assignment that finds all happy numbers for a given range. Such as 1- 10. My current code just isn't cutting it. I have to use a user defined function and return a bool value to main in order to output if the number is happy or if it sad. For some reason, I cannot get it to loop properly. the first number will be displayed correctly, but the second and third are just squares of the first number, instead of being squared by their single digits. I'm dividing by 10 to get the first number of the digit entered, then I'm using mod to get the remainder. One thing I did notice was that the num2 was putting a remainder of 30 for 130, and I'm not too sure what I need to do to change that, without affecting the whole program.
