C++ :: Input String And Then Convert Each 1st Letter Of Word Into Capital Case

Write a program that inputs a string and then converts each 1st letter of a word in the string into capital case. An example run of the program is shown below:
Enter string: introduction to programming
Output string: Introduction To Programming
How can I write program that can convert an input string into a form that only the first letter of the string is a capital letter and the rest is lower-case?
I'm supposed to count the number of first capital letters in a string. I've written a code that counts every uppercase letter, and it turns out that this is not what the assignment is about. For example, the input "JAMES, How Are you?" should return an output of 3 (mine would return 7 in this case). Only J, H, A need to be counted.
I have a difficulty with string methods for some reason. I tried solving a question from my book, which requires me to capitalize the first letter of every word in a string. I kept trying for maybe two hours yesterday, re-reading the string chapter to see if I'm forgetting a certain method or if something similar was discussed in the examples but I didn't find anything. I also googled it, and found a few answers, none of which I understood. They mostly had keywords or methods I wasn't familiar with. Anyway, here's where I am so far.

The code compiles without any errors, but when I enter a string it capitalizes correctly for the first two words and then it starts capitalizing letters in the middle of the words.
I need to write a C program to make the user input some text,and the first letter of each word has to be uppercase.(have to use while loops)So for example lets say the user inputs:

I have started this code by making the letters lowercase.I am not sure how proceed after this step, the step of making the first letter uppercase.
I want to create 2 functions to (1) convert a passed string into proper case (capitalize the first alpha character of a string and every alpha character that follows a non-alpha character); (2) sort the array of names (after it has been converted to proper case).

I can get the first letter to change if there is only one word. But if there are two words it wont change and display the second word's first letter and I'm not sure why.
I've been agonizing over this all day. The assignment is to capitalize every other word in a user input string.
My logic is as follows:
1. I have the program get each character until it encounters white space (using for loop) 2. Then it should capitalize each character after the white space until it encounters another white space (using while loop).
My problem though is when i try to create a condition for while loop i have to terminate is when white space is encountered, but the very first character to start the while loop is a white space..
I was told to define boolean values, but after trying a few boolean conditions I'm still stuck..

I'm creating a program that takes user input in the form of a string and tests to see if it matches a word. Each correct word will increase their score by one. Here is a portion of the code that is not working.
To me, this looks like it should do a very simple task as intended-take a String, compare it to another, and reset the word if they match or output incorrect if not. But, I'm not sure if there is some quirk in C++ with Strings, because this code always outputs Incorrect. Please try again. and the score never increases. I also tested this by literally setting the strings equal in the code, which still resulted in it not doing what it's supposed to.
I need to reverse a word . For instance "Hello" after reversing will be "olleh" . It reverse first and last letter but its not reversing the rest of them

Having problem with my code. i keep getting an error towards the bottom of the code. i need the user to enter a word. and with that word convert it to numbers. once i have convert it if it is bigger than 20 i have to add the two digits together and get print out the array that response to it.

Prompt the user to enter a day of the week as M (or m), T, W, R, F, S, and U for Monday through Sunday respectively. The user may enter an upper or lower case letter.
When the user enters a character, the program will echo the letter and output the name of the day of the week.
Provide an error trap that reads something like "you have entered an invalid letter; program aborting." Suggestion: use a switch statement with the error trap as the default condition. it is not necessary to prompt for multiple inputs.
So I know how to get the program to echo back the letter and everything. What I am a little confused about is: will I have to define all the letters as their respective day? eg. make M== Monday. And if I do have to do that how would I get it to accept Upper and Lower case letters and recognize that that letter is == monday ect. ect.
Also my main problem is the switch statement as the error trap. I have never used the switch statement, but I know what they do. I just don't really understand how I would use it for an error trap. Am I suppose to just make a case for every other letter in the alphabet other then M T W R F S and U? Even if I do that then what if the user enters a number instead of a letter?
I'm working on a code that needs to loop a switch case back to the beginning after a certain input is entered.

For my program, I want option 2 to display something, then loop back to "select and option" after the user presses enter. How would I write that? Would i use a while? do while?
I've written a simple program, which asks the user to respond to a YES or NO question using the character Y/y for YES and the character N/n for NO. The foundation of this program is based around several IF statements implemented to aid in finding the ASCII value of the character entered before invoking the corresponding cout statement that informs the user which character they entered. My Question: How should a program be written to deal with ignoring case sensitivity in regards to the users' input?

The following are IF statements written for the program to determine whether the user answered YES or NO. The program then performs the cout statement that contains the corresponding character to the ASCII value found.
I need a code that will search through string 1 and find the first place with a letter that also appears in string 2 and return the pointer of that place. This is what I wrote:

i'm having trouble with my c programming assignment. i'm trying to convert a number grade to a letter grade. I'm trying to Write a function (called: numToLetter) that takes as input a number from 0 to 100 and returns a character ( a single character ), based on the following: if the number is between 60 and 70 return Dif the number is greater than 90 return Aif the number is between 70 and 80 return Cif the number is between 0 and 60 return Fif the number is between 80 and 90, return B and i need to use the return statements to call the function like for example:

So I have started this program for class but am stuck on what to do next. Basically you need to create a function to compare 2 strings (case-insensitive). The strings shouldn't be altered and the return value should be similar to strcmp.

I don't know if I labeled the files correct. what I need to do is to add 2 defaulted arguments which will allow the user to request that you skip spaces and/or skip punctuation when doing the comparison.
Also, how I can sort the numbers when they aren't justified with leading 0's and if they aren't in the lead string (kinda of like the natural sort).
