C++ :: Create A Loop That Repeat Itself Many Times A Second?

Aug 6, 2013

I create a loop that would repeat itself many times a second? Trying to do extremely basic graphics with a grid and system("cls") every time I run a command, but it still looks very jumpy. I realize system calls are evil. Any way to get rid of this too.

C :: Program That Will Repeat K Times Each Single Occurrence Of A Vowel?

Jun 8, 2014

Repeat the vowel Problem 3 (0 / 0)Write a program that will repeat k times each single occurrence of a vowel in the input file "sp.txt" to a new file "output.txt". The first line of the input file contains only the parameter k. The first line (containing the parameter k) should not to be written in the output file.

I wrote the code but i cant figure out something. i read the file, i found the vowels but then i cant print them.

Code:
#include <stdio.h>#include <string.h>

C :: Two Repeat One While Loop

Apr 17, 2014

So I have a programming assignment.

Code:
#include <stdio.h>
int main(void)
{
int input;
int sum;
int i;
int t;

[Code] .....

So you input an integer ex) 30

the printing of t =(i+i)+1 and i++ is carried out until i=30, which is when the sum of all the t's is printed.

If the value you entered is not an integer, the loop ends.

I'm supposed to do this with one while loop, and no more. I can't use the for loop either.

How can I do this?

C++ :: Iterative Loop Repeats More Times Than Expected

Nov 28, 2014

I tried my best but I can't figure out the problem. At the last part of "createArray", I output the final array created. I mean it to repeat once but then it repeat more times than I expect. createArray is an iterative function. If it repeats 3 times, than at last the array created which fulfil the criterion would be printed out 3+1 times.

I am trying to create an array with 3 numbers 5 times, resulting in a 2D array. The 3 numbers in a array are picked from 0 - 5. I enter createArray(5,3,5). Then these 5 arrays are compared with each other to see if there are repetitions. If there are, the whole process begins again, 5 arrays with 3 numbers each will be picked again and compared with each other. If there are no repetitions at last, there 5 arrays would be printed out.

void deleteArray(int** array){
delete[] array;
}
int** createArray(int simu_times, int randomrun,int numberofrun){
vector<Int_t>fChosenRun;
int** Array = new int*[simu_times];

C :: Create 2 Int For FOR Loop To Do Encryption

Jun 15, 2014

what i think i need to create 2 int for the FOR loop to do the encryption but how am i to do it meaning the actual encryption itself what is that i check with?Also i think i need more than just the #include <stdio.h> library due to the file functions that i will need or is C having them built in? Also what is that about the program doing all this from DOS?

Create 2 programs with the names encrypt and decrypt that will encrypt and decrypt files respectively.The encryption and decryption will be done through a command line of DOS and the program should be as follows: encrypt file1 file2 key and decrypt file1 file2 key

Where:
file1 is the source file
file2 is the destination file
key is the word with which we encrypt/decrypt file1

So when the user executes the command encrypt f1 f2 sunnyday the program will create a file with the name f2 which will have the contents of f1 encrypted with the key sunnyday.When the user executes the command decrypt f1 f2 sunnyday the program will create a file with the name f2 which will have the contents of f1 decrypted with the key sunnyday.

If the user gives a wrong key the program will continue to decrypt file1 but since the key is wrong the results will be unexpected.Finally the program must print the corresponding error messages in case of errors for example (There is no file 1).The program is expected to work corectly with not only plain text files but executable (exe) files etc.Also The program must be fully commented.

Note: The way the encryption will work is yours to choose but it is recommended that you encrypt every letter of the file with every letter of the key with the (start to finish and begin) technique meaning that if the key has 8 letters then the first leeter of the file will be encrypted with the first letter of the key, the second letter of the file with the second of the key, ..., the ninth letter of the source file with the first letter of the key, the tenth letter of the source file with the second letter of the key etc.

So, I'm relatively new to programming.

I want to create a loop (for, while, do while) which can run the Collatz Conjecture when I give it any number.

The Collatz Conjecture consists of two functions (3n+1 for odd numbers and n/2 for even numbers) and it states that when applied to any positive number, the outcome will ultimately be 1. think of a loop/pseudocode to apply to this.

C# :: How To Repeat Execution Of Code Using Counter

Oct 22, 2014

I have a method that changes a canvas color after set intervals, e.g. start timer, 5 seconds green, 3 seconds red, then stop. This functionality is provided in the interval method. The problem I'm trying to achieve is getting this sequence to repeat for a set number of iterations.

I tried to solve this by setting up a counter after the timer is stopped but the code keeps repeating indefinitely by starting and stopping over and over instead of the max of 6 iterations I had set. In debugging the problem, I watched the value of 'i' and when the 'if' statement is set to false. The 'if' statement gets set to false after 7 iteration as expected but the start(); keeps getting called.

void myTimer_Tick(object sender, EventArgs e) {
//Assign text box string value to a time span variable.
TimeSpan workTm = TimeSpan.ParseExact(wrkString, @"hh : mm : ss : fff", CultureInfo.InvariantCulture);
TimeSpan restTm = TimeSpan.ParseExact(rstString, @"hh : mm : ss : fff", CultureInfo.InvariantCulture);

// update the textblock on the display
// with hh, mm, ss, ms
ms = myStopwatch.ElapsedMilliseconds;

C++ :: Create Two Vectors And Then Loop Through The Vectors

Sep 19, 2014

This is probably a very basic question, but I need to create two vectors and then loop through the vectors and output each pair that is found.

The user will input min1 and max1 with step1 for the first vector and min2 and max2 and step2 for the second vector. Then the loops will go through and return the combinations will return each pair of the two vectors.

So if I input min1=1 and max1=10 and step1=1 and same for vector two the return would be:

[1,1]
[1,2]
.
.
.
[10,10]

This is for part of a homework assignment, but I can't continue on the assignment without first getting this simple part to work.
