I am currently learning OOP, and I can't figure out what the problem is with my header file. The rest of the program complies fine though. I am using g++ on UNIX.

I have download the SOIL library [URL] for loading textures in OpenGL, however it doesn't come with a SOIL.lib file but a file called libSOIL.a and it says I need to compile it myself.
View 11 Replies View Related When i click the back button, I like to skip some old pages & rotate pages view in my property sheet.
I have 5 pages, when i clicked the User button in my MainDlg the below function called like,
User Button Clicked -> Page1 Opened
Next Button Clicked
-> Page2 -> Page3 -> Page4 -> Page5
Back Button Clicked
Page1 <- Page2 <- Page3 <- Page4 <- Page5
This work done. working good.
Code:

My requirement is,
User Button Clicked -> Page1 Opened

I made a program which read a text file and copies text in an another text file if line doesn't contain a specific string(code is below), how can I make it after it finds out a line which contains this string to skip n lines ? I tried to use a for loop but without any luck..
Here is what I did until now :
rfile.open("test.txt");
wfile.open("out.txt");
while(std::getline(rfile,line)){
n=line.find(name);
if(n == std::string::npos){
wfile<<line<<std::endl;
}

What is correct linkage method?
For a while, I have been running a Windows 7 Visual Studio 2012 CPP project fine. However, today, all of a sudden, it has stopped being able to read any header files that are in relative directories. I cannot think what I have done to make this happen.
It seems to be an issue with Visual Studio as a whole, rather than my individual project, because I have created a new simple project and I am having the same problem. So, I have a CPP project at `C:/Projects/TestProject`. Then, I have a header file called `test_header.hpp`, which is located at `C:/Headers`. In `TestProject`'s project settings, I have added the directory `../../Headers` to `Additional Include Directories`. Then, my main functions is as follows:
Code:
#include "test_header.hpp"
int main() {
return 0;
}
Which gives me the error:
Code:
Error1error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'test.hpp': No such file or directoryc:projects estprojectmain.cpp11TestProject
Is there some global Visual Studio setting that is responsible for setting up these relative directories? Just in case the relative directory was not correct, I also tried a load of others, such as `../Headers` and `../../../Headers`, but these gave the same errors.
Its really essential for the program I'm trying to write.

I am trying to build a VC++ project in Visual Studio 2010. [URL] ....
This project has a dependency on openssl libraries. How can I successfully build this project? How to add third party libs/dlls in a project.
I am just a beginner in c++..I am making a program on a physics formula PV=nRT(this is formula of ideal gas equation)i have build the program and it run excellently but i want to improve this i am using a condition p==0 because i want to find 'p' but the problem is every time i run the program i have to input p=0 in the screen but i want the program to skip "p" ( take automatically "p" as 0 when i press enter and got to another varibles)
#include <iostream>
#include <cmath>
using namespace std;
int main()
[code].....
#include<stdio.h>
void main()
{
int i=6;
printf("%d %*d
",i,i+9);
}
what is the out put?
I am working on a program that does something like this,
Void main() {
cout<<"H";timedelay(1);
cout<<"E";timedelay(1);
cout<<"L";timedelay(1);
cout<<"L";timedelay(1);
cout<<"O";timedelay(1); //timedelay(int a) is a function which gives a delay of 'a' seconds.
{
....
}
}
This code is just for fancy and I would like to squish in some statements which would give the user an option to skip it (by entering any keyboard key),and resume with the rest of the program.
what can i do to fix ? why do i get the error ?

What I mean is : the basic compile command is :gcc Hello.c -o Hello_E

gcc Hello.c -o C:Program FilesPellesCC_programsExe_filesHello_E
When I try to compile a single file with GCC (I'm using Code::Blocks as my IDE if that is relevant) it gives me a bunch of undefined reference errors. Well, of course they are undefined since I haven't linked anything yet, but why is GCC complaining at compiling time?
The problem is that when I try to link and compile the project in one go I don't get any errors. The references in question are from the GLEW library if that is relevant.

I've just integrated the Windows SDK V7.0A into my VS2005 application, and I'm getting the dreaded "Application configuration error" when I try to run it on an XP machine.
It runs fine on the development machine, and some customer machines (Win7 and Win8), but will not run on XP due to missing/incorrect version dlls.
I've rebuilt all my libraries, but still no joy.
So, my first question is - If I upgrade the Windows SDK to V7.0A, do I also need to use MFC 10 and msvcrt10, or can I stick with MFC 8?
The next question is, how do I find out which dlls are missing, and which libraries or other dlls are requesting the missing versions?
In my application I have some type of windows showed in an instance of time, and an action shows a new one that i want have the focus all the time , in the way that i can't works with no one of the others. They all are windows, child windows an modeless dialogs, but i don't know how to do. I try use EnableWindow(FALSE) that all the others windows and dialogs, but not works.
