C Sharp :: How To Pull Comment Tags From VB Or CS Files

Jul 3, 2012

In my project I have commented all the available funtions in a systematic way. Following is the commenting system in my project:

''' --------------------------------------------------- ''' <summary>
''' ************************************************** ******* ''' FUNCTION:
''' VAR NBR:
''' ************************************************** ******* ''' </summary>
''' <VariableName> loadApp </VariableName>
''' <VariableDiscription> loads the Application </VariableDiscription>
''' <Author> Author Name </Author>
''' <LastModifiedOn> 01/09/2012 </LastModifiedOn>

[Code] .....

Now I would like to extract the data inside these comment tags and insert into excel sheet. Need to extract the comments in the xml tags shown in the able format? For example I want the value inside the <Autor> tag.

C++ :: Input Date Field In A Comment

Mar 11, 2014

I am building a template for CodeBlocks, which pre-write some includes, the main skull and a header.

This header looks like that :
/**
* @Author Me
* @Description Brief description
* @Date ??
*/

I would like to put the current Date, just after the line @Date, is-it possible ? And if yes, it-is possible to put a field @FileName which copy the filename into the comment ?

int main(){
int end;

C++ :: Grade Calculator - Output With Comment To A Text File

Feb 24, 2013

I am a math teacher who is taking a programming class. My district wants to incorporate some programming tasks into the high school math curricula. I am working on a project to calculate a final grade and output this along with a comment to a text file. The following data is the input that I created:

3 300 100 100 100 .15
4 400 100 98 94 92 .45
3 300 98 100 92 .40

The final grade output results in gibberish.

C++ :: Input With String Statement - Output Result With HTML Tags To Populate Web Page

May 3, 2013

I'm working on a CGI application. I'm trying to test my input with a switch statement and output the result with html tags to populate a web page. From within the switch, I've coded as follows:

HTML Code:
switch(mFunc) {
case 0:
cout << "<p><b>YOU ENTERED THE FOLLOWING TO BE CALCULATED:</b></p>" "<h2>"<< number1 <<"+" << number2 << "</h2>" << endl;
break;
case 1:
cout << "You've entered" << number1 <<"-" << number2 << "to be evaluated" << endl;
break;

I know that I'll need to put this in an html body with a content type as such:

HTML Code:
cout << "Content-type: text/html
";
cout << "<html><body>
";

Am I able to do that directly inside of the switch statement?

C# :: Send Multiple Files Over Tcp At The Same Time In C Sharp?

Nov 29, 2010

I have a tcp client - server implementation running in the same program, on different background worker threads. There will be instances of this program on multiple computers so they can send and receive files between each other. I can send files sequentially between computers using network stream, but how would I send multiple files at the same time from computer A to B.

Sending multiple files over one connection ( socket ) is fine, but having multiple network streams sending data to a client, the client doesn't know which chunk of data is apart of which file ?

C Sharp :: Web Client DownloadFile Hangs On Certain Files

Aug 30, 2012

We are using the DownloadFile method of the WebClient class to download artwork via URLs for purchase orders, this works well for the most part, but hangs with certain file types. We never have problems with .pdf files, but .ai files (Illustrator) just hang with 0 bytes being downloaded, and then eventually times out after the default 60 seconds. Any similar activity while downloading files with the WebClient class? The files that are being downloaded are hosted on the same server, in the same directory.

if (validURL == true) {
                WebClient client = new WebClient();
                try {
                client.Headers.Add("Accept: text/html, application/xhtml+xml, */*");

Visual C++ :: GetPixel Won't Pull From Java Programs?

Jun 4, 2013

I'm building a simple little program for minecraft to reduce the repetitiveness, I'm using getpixel, it's slow, but i only need to grab about 6-12 pixels.

but the problem is, I can get the pixel data if I capture from the entire desktop display, but as soon as I tell it to grab from the active window (wich goes MUCH faster) it doesn't return any colour value's.

I'd rather not have to use getDIBits or program in java or anything since I want to keep it fairly kiss, and if it can't be done, then.. ah well, I'll just grab from the entire desktop, speed isn't to much of an issue, but it'll be a pain to keep the window at the same place.

Code:
#include <Windows.h>
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
// vvv Ignore this, it's just used for retrieving the handle of a window without giving the full window name vvvv
struct results {

I have the following code which allows me to add the pdf files if I give the exact name and path of the file. But I have multiple pdf files in a folder which I want to add to each cell in the first column. I am having trouble thinking of the logic to have a for loop for a folder which contains the pdf files.

But this is very very rough draft. I have say 20 files in the folder pdf with different names(Title). How can I add all the 20 pdf files in the excel sheet?

C++ :: Iterate Through Char Array And Pull IP Addresses To Test If They Respond

Apr 8, 2013

I am trying to write a loop that will iterate through a char array in C and pull the IP addresses and test them to see if they respond. My ultimate goal is to have the first one that responds returned in the function, but the loop is not running correctly. It will run through right the first time, but then will start over again.

Code:
const char * getServer(char *svrList) {
char *srList;
srList = strtok(svrList, " ," );
printf("Contents of srList b4 loop: %s

printf("Server List: %s

[Code] ....

Code output:
Contents of srList b4 loop: 1.1.1.1
Server List: 1.1.1.1
result is "1.1.1.1"
Hitting else loop
Contents of srList in else: 2.2.2.2
result is "2.2.2.2"
result is "2.2.2.2"
Contents of srList b4 loop: 1.1.1.1

C++ :: Display Last 1000 Lines From Multiple Text Files (log Files)

Jan 16, 2014

I am writing a piece of code that requires me to display the last 1000 lines from a multiple text files (log files). FYI, I am running on Linux and using g++.

I have a log file from which - if it contains more than 1000 lines, I need to display the last 1000 lines. However, the log file could get rotated. So, in case where the current log file contains less than 1000 lines, I have to go to older log file and display the remaining. For e.g., if log got rotated and new log file contains 20 lines, I have to display the 980 lines from old log file + 20 from current log files.

What is the best way to do this? Even an outline algorithm will work.
