C# :: Overwrite Text In Masked Textbox Without Selecting Or Deleting Content?

I was wondering if there is a -> simple <- way to overwrite existing text in a masked texbox...
Example: I have a masked textbox, where you can insert dates. That means that you can enter only numbers for the day, month and year.
If I have to do it programmatically, there is no problem... I already have some ideas how I could do something like that, but I would like to know if VS has any parameter or any option I only have to activate.

I have a question about controlling a file.With MFC, I can overwrite stream with code blew.
f.Open(strFullPath, CFile::modeCreate | CFile::modeNoTruncate | CFile::modeWrite | CFile::typeBinary, &ex)
f.write(buffer, buffersize);
For instance, file called "A.txt" has "ABCDE" in it. Then it will be "KKCDE" when I put the text "KK" like this.

I want to make it out in C/C++ not in MFC.So, I did like this.

the result is "ABCDEDD" not "KKCDE".(with "a" mode which means "append")

In my code below the first textbox.appendtext works but the second, textbox1.appendtext(i);, gives an error;
The name 'textbox1' does not exist in the current context (CS0103).

I have a silverlight app that uses TextBox XAML controls.
In the c++ code-behind, IXRTextBoxPtr types are associated with these textboxes using "FindName" like this:
FindName(L"ColNum3", &m_pColNum3);
(where ColNum3 corresponds with the XAML CODE like this: )
Then, the code assigns the pointer like this:
std::wstring wsTransfer; // gets the wstring from imput
const WCHAR * wpszInput;
wpszInput = wsTransfer.c_str();
m_pColNum3->SetText(wpszInput);
but the display does not show the text data.
What am I missing? What steps am I missing to have this text modification display on the screen?

A user enters a query and other users reply to it. But it creates a problem here. After adding queries, if I wish to reply to query in between then it adds a redundant entry in file. 1st entry is the original query without reply and 2nd entry is the same query now with a reply added. I want only 1 entry of the query along with replies.Here is the code:

I'm trying to read all content from a text file into a string. This is the code I'm using for it (I know there are other, maybe better ways to do it but I'd like to stick to this for now):

So my problem is that I get an exception when I try to free the memory -> 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x51366199
I even get the exception when I try to free it immediately after calloc() but why this is.
And if I use buffer = (char*)malloc(lSize); I don't get any exceptions.
So, why this fails and what I'm doing wrong.

I have a SDI application that uses a CFormView class to create a window and this window has 2 buttons and 2 edit boxes.
I can resize this window, like minimize and maximize, but the controls all stay at the same place.
I know that it's possible to move the controls based on window size.
But what i want to do is, as the window is expanded the controls and it's text content to grow proportionally and same when the window is shrinked.
Is that possible to do? i.e., increase/decrease size of controls and texts per window size.

I am trying to create an application interface serial data reception using c #. I send the data from the serial adc microcontroller adc atmega 16 ... the data is 0 to 1023. In the textbox that I use as a data reception, data updates to the bottom if I use ReadLine coding.
examples:

If I use ReadExisting, the data displayed by the textbox moves to the side. examples 102310231023256669
When the data changes from 0-1023 of serial communication, and clear the data will store in otomatiis in the textbox.
When there is reception of data with a value of 1023 and immediately there is a change to the value of 555 textbox value will not store the value of 1023, I want the value in 1023 immediately deleted automatically and change the value to 555 when a change in the value of the data ...

The Objective Of This Program Is To Create A File To Write Text And Read Back The File Content. To Do That I Have Made Two Function writeFile() To Write And readFile() To Read.The readFile() function works just fine but writeFile() doesn't.
How writeFile() function Works? when writeFile() function Execute It Takes Characters User Type And When Hit Enter(ASC|| 10) It Ask "More?(Y/N)" That Means What User Want? Want To Go Next Line Or End Input?
If "Y" Than Inputs Are Taken From Next Line Else Input Ends.
But The Problem Is When Program Encounters ch==10 It Shows "More?(Y/N)" And Takes Input In cmd variable.If cmd=='Y' I Mean More From Next Line Than It Should Execute Scanf Again To Take ch I Mean User Input.But Its Not!!! Its Always Showing "More?(Y/N)" Again And Again Like A Loop.

I'm using lua 5.2.2 with luabind 0.9.
I'd like to be able to add additional class-methods through lua for any classes that I've bound in c++, but I'm unsure how to do it.
The problem is that luabind uses a function as the __index-metamethod for any bound classes instead of a table, so I don't see a way to access the class-methods at all.
e.g., I'm binding my classes like this:

.def(luabind::constructor<>())
.def("TestFunc",&TestFunc)
];
What I essentially want to do is to add a lua-function to the list of methods for this class, and be able to overwrite existing ones:

I want to replace what is in a specific sector with value inside a buffer(dummy value). This code will read what is inside a specific sector. To make sure it works it display what is inside the sector and it displays the chosen dummy value. (the two cout's in main)
What I want to do is to replace the dummy value with what is inside the specific sector. So if the dummy value is '0', I want to replace what is in sector 285 with '0'.

I have N vectors which look like this:
[1→m] [m+1→2m] [2m+1→3m] [3m+1→4m] [4m+1→5m]..... [{(N-1)m}+1→Nm]
I want to select 1 element from each vector without duplication of any combinations.
Essentially only when all combinations are done with 1st element in first vector ,only then it should move to next element in first vector say i have elements :[123] [456] [789]
my combinations should be like
147
148
149
157
158
159
167
168
169
247….
Also, i need no repetitions and only after all combinations of 1 are done only then the loop has to move to next combination ie 247 combination and so on.
i tried NCK (n choose k) command but it gave me random combinations.how should i go about it with using minimal for loops

fclose(eng); It's a piece of my code. Some explanation: From file, where is full of words under selves. I cut it on word and from word i'm printing:
1) word
2) how many letters in the word
3) word backwards and
4) viz. problem is down
For first: There i have warning: while(feof(eng) == NULL); like (comparison between pointer and integer) i don't get it. For second i have a big problem. I must from every word print the most recurring character.
For example: nondeterministically -> the most are N and I. And if, there is more then one most reccuring char, you choose one of them.

Supposing you have a 3 or more overlapping arrays (arrays having elements in common), and you wish to select 2 or more of the arrays with the maximum number of elements but less overlap as compared to the rest of the overlapping arrays.
Eg. A[4],B[6],C[5]. A+B contains 10 elements but say the overlapping element is 3, meaning it has 7 unique element.
Also B+C=11 elements , but supposing it has 5 overlaps, it would mean it has only 6 unique elements. A+B+C=15. Supposing the overlaps are 11 then it means the unique elements are 4. Ect. So per the example, the best array options with most unique element would be A+B .

I have the following code in the cellmouse event to get information from a selected row.
