Jun 6, 2013I have reduced it for lower numbers but for some reason with higher numbers when i get the program to out put all the primes they are in minuses!!!
I need a way to make this even faster, or maybe theres a better mathematical answer, I know that for numbers in their 1,000,000,000,000 have an average of 1 prime every 26.6 numbers (i think thats right there is 37,607,912,018 primes in the number 1,000,000,000,000) is there anyway i can utilize this??

1. Display scores in rows of four(4) scores.
2. Calculate average score and display.
3. Find Lowest score and display.
4. Find Highest score and display.
5. Find the deviation of each score, and display the score and its deviation.
6. Find the Standard Deviation and Display
7. How many scores are within One Standard Deviation
So I have the average down, but I am getting stuck at the part of displaying the highest and lowest score. Every time I run the program I get two giant negative numbers for both of them. I put all the scores into a .txt file and I just opened in through the program.

Everything seems to work fine, but then I thought that I should let the user store the data of their employees permanently, therefore I created a file and then I store the user's given data in the txt file.

But there is some problem, and I don't seem to understand what is the problem in the code, it's just that whenever the user enters any id to search, and presses any key then nothing appears just a blank screen! C++ :: Printing Data As It Is Stored In Memory (binary)?
Mar 21, 2013So, if I'm right, computer store their data as binary values. So if I write int x = 5; , my computer converts the value of x from decimal (5) into binary (101) and stores it in memory as a a binary number. If I print that value on the screen that value is converted(by default) back into a decimal number before being printed on the screen.
Now, my question is if there is any way to print the value of x directly into binary(as it's stored in memory) without it being converted back into a decimal value?

I had to change my array initialization to one with a star in front of it:

to:
char *a1[]={"a","d","b","b","c","b","a","b","c","d","a","c","d","b","d","c","c","a","d","b"};
I also changed my 2nd array to one with a star in front of it: char *a2[20];
What does this mean exactly? Putting a star in front of an array?
Also, I am now getting an "unhandled exception" when I try to get input for my 2nd array:

Mar 6, 2014Overview of problem : I am using std::vector to hold objects of Subject. Now this vector contains lots of objects( with lots I mean 10-20 objects at max) . These objects have string member values like category and sub_category. Both category and sub_category can have string which can be same of other objects's sub_category & category.
Issue: Now I want my std::vector to have only those objects whose's sub_category are unique. If category is not unique that's not a problem .
Secondly if we found 2 objects having same sub_category then we have to delete one of them from the vector. we will delete it based on some rules example
Rules for deleting are if
i) instance of Subject ->category = " Land " OR if category = "Jungle" then delete other duplicate object ,
ii) if above condition doesn't match then delete either of them.
I am wondering , how would I compare the sub-items from the vector . For example. I have class say Subject

Now what I want is to delete the object from vector that has same sub_category I am not looking for source code buT i need a starting point,? Example:
