C/C++ :: Input Float And Integer And Save It To Txt File

i am writing a program that requires me to write am input a float and an integer and save it to a txt file. When i try to compile my code i get an error "assignment from incompatible data type". ?

I need to write a program that reads four float numbers from the input.txt file, then it prints out the greatest of the four numbers into the output.txt file. I did everything, but the numbers don't print out.

the problem is when i got the factorial of N / factorial of (N-M) i need to get the last non zero digit. so i use mod if it has zero in it. but mod can be only used with an int value. and when i change it to int value, the value of fact1 which is a float change
I am trying to develop a GUI using MFC, but I am having trouble using CFiledialog to save a file. The problem is, the file is not getting saved to the folder when I use the CFiledialog. Below is the code I am using.
I'm reading lines from a text file in C++ which contains integer + string + float number(like 3,67 with comma) + string in this order. I need the float number to sort the lines but I couldn't manage to separate the data into the types I can use so far. I tried different kind of functions and the best I could do was such a code;

This fails at reading the floating number which has comma in it and then last string is read as string starting with the comma and rest of the number. An output example is:
698 John 3 ,67
It doesn't read last string on the line as well. I understand that part but simply I need another read but what I want exactly is to separate one line using "tab" as a seperator into proper data types and then using the numbers as integers, and the grades as floating numbers. How Can I do this?
How I could correctly validate user input when the user inputs a numeric value that will be float pay1, pay2, pay3, pay4. However, the if statement that I wrote crashes after I test the validation. I been told that scanf is dangerous, but strtol works best, but how to write a validation with strtol.

I have a project, a montly paycheck. So it checks the monthly paycheck of each employees. but my problem there is how to add a new employee when u are a user or in the output of program?
I'm having trouble trying to save a variable from an input of the user. Then use it when i start up another .exe.
If it makes any difference I am using dev c++. I'm using the input as an a or b so some one will put a for english or b for spanish. after that I want to use that info in another if statement of another .exe.
I have a simple input output problem using float point numbers and after the first input the program skips the other cin functions is there something that I did wrong? It compiles fine also.

I want to write a program which takes a text from input and saves each word with malloc. For example for text "Have a nice a day" i want an array for each word, have,a,nice etc.
1st when i fill the things on form then saved in database after saving record when i want add another record it shows an error. after saving it saves new record refresh doesn't work
I'm having a little problem with std:fstream - in my program, the user selects the location of a file which I want to remember. So, I have something like this:

This works fine if the file chosen is in the same directory as the program, however, if they try to choose a directory outside of where the program is kept, it saves the text file into that directory instead of the same one as the program. So, it looks like outputting a directory into an ofstream actually changes the location to which the file is saved.
Is there a way to save the file directory to a text file using ofstream and still have the text file save in the same directory as the program?
How do you create a save file for a game, that is not a separate file? Specifically I am using code::blocks and sfml 2.1 to make a game and it saves to a text file at the moment. My problem is that it is very easy to modify the text file, and it is annoying to have to copy and paste several files if you want to use a copy of the game. I have a feeling that it may be to do with resource files, but I'm not exactly sure how to get these to work or whether you can modify them dynamically.
I have an assignment to do..i have done it..but i need to do one more thing. Things sound like this: user inputs 6 integers program needs to check them if there are integer if not it has to output a message for the user if the input is integer it has to go further and work with the input. I have used this structure :

Where I declared temp as being int since i started, the problem is after it gets the last input still waits for an input i will attach the source code if needed.
