I tried to work on this program for while, but I am not able to get it to work
Directions:Write a program that reads an integer n from the user.
Display the first 100 numbers, with newlines every n numbers, using % operator

When I run this code it asks me to enter a number. It doesn't matter what number I enter it gives me the numbers from 1 to 100 in one horizontal line.
I want this program to do something like this:
for example if the user enters n=6 the program should give:
0 1 2 3 4 5 6
7 8 9 10 11 12 13
and so on

I am writing code for a program that will take user input selection of columns and determine an array based on that.The number of columns will be user selected.The number of rows equals 3^(columns) <--exponent not XOR
- This is because each column has the possibility of having the numbers 0,1,or 2
For example, if the user were to select "4" columns, then the array would have 4 columns and 3^4=81 rows. Then I would like to populate this with all of the possible combinations of 0,1,2
i.e.
0000
0001
0002
0010
0011
0012
0020
0021
0022
0100
....
2220
2221
2222
how I would create the "For" Loop for this?

I have to write a program where the user will input integer numbers. How many numbers they enter is unknown, therefor you should use a repetition structure for the input. When the user is done, they will enter -1 to exit.
Create a dynamic array if the size=2( the initial size must be 2) Repeat until user enters -1.
I have to do this without using vectors.
This is what i have, I cannot figure out what to put in main. I was thinking of a do-while?

Create a program that will ask the users name, age, and reddit username. have it tell them the information back, in the format: your name is (blank), you are (blank) years old, and your username is (blank).
So I started making my program

I'm working my way through some C exercises to get some practice and have hit a wall. I need to use a function to take a number, such as 1, and print out One.Here's what I've got so far:

However, when I run the code and enter "1" the only thing that gets printed to the screen is "(lldb)". I've tried changing it to doing it without variables and just printing "One" but that gave the exact same result.

Now i got here a program that asks the user to input 2 numbers if the first inputed number is smaller than the second then show all even numbers from the range of the 1st inputed number till the 2nd inputed number, but if the first inputed number is greater than the second then display all odd numbers from the range of the 1st number till the 2nd.
now my question is how do i invert the odd numbers?(on the 2nd condition)

How do I error check if the user is inputting letters and not numbers? For example, if the user inputs "Lab.txt" I need to display an error message. If they input "Lab2part2.txt" then this is correct and what I want.
I've found a lot of information online on how to error check for numbers or a single letter (EX: 1,2,3, etc. or 'A' 'B' 'C') but nothing for actual WORDS or maybe I should refer to it as a string of characters?
Is there any way to do this? Because my program requires I ask the user to input the name of the file. But the way my code is currently set up is even when the user inputs the wrong file name it still opens the file. I want to prevent this from happening so my thought was to error check user input.

I'm suppose to write a program using (for loop) that asks the user to enter any amount of numbers, so that it can display the smallest and largest. I am using the gcc compiler in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and I get the following error:

I was told that "stdprn" can be recognised by a DOS based compiler and the book says I can try using "stdout" instead. It looks like this now:

I am not sure whether I should continue looking into this but even when I tried compiling and running it on Windows, the .exe file won't even launch. The other ones do but this first one doesn't.
Questions:
1. What should be done to make this program run?
2. Even though the book says "don't care" if the reader does not understand the items (It's Day 1/Lesson 1), I would still like it to run as I don't want to experience compiling and running problems in the future. Should I even bother doing this section of the book or is it obsolete and should be skipped?
