I have a logined user and my running program as system process (not user process).
I want to get user name and surname from AD.
1. GetUserName() dont useful becouse it gets name for current process owner(for SYSTEM in my case).
2. There are userLogin, userName, userSurname and userDisplayedName in user properties of AD. Its possible to get userDisplayedName by NetUserGetInfo(), but
I want to know is it possible to get userName and userSurname?

I have a general question on Call Stack of Embedded uCs.
The Call Stack should include all the Active Sub-routines.
For example, in the following sequence:
Func 1 Starts -- Call Func2 --> Func 2 Starts -- Call Func3 --> Func 3 Starts --> YOU ARE HERE
The Stack should include the Return Addresses of Func 2's Body and Func 1's Body, Right?
At any certain moment (e.g. when the uC experiencing a SW Bug), Is it possible to have the uC to get all the Active Sub-Routines from the Stack and print them (e.g. for knowing it at the moment of Bug)?
It'd debug failures, when I don't work with a Debugger.
I know that Debuggers do that - i.e. show you the Call Stack at each moment - So I am wondering if I can get the uC to to it for me every time a bug occurs.

I can select the textbox #2 text with this.
this.tB2.Click += new System.EventHandler(tB2_Click);
private void tB2_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e) {
tB2.SelectAll();
}
What would be the simplest way to do the same for all textboxes on the form, preferably on both click and enter events.

I have a DLL developed using pure VC++ (all unmanaged code that doesn't use .NET framework). This DLL will be deployed in different client PCs within a network and will act like an agent.
Now I have establish a communication between this DLL and a WCF web service, that will be deployed in a server PC. The Service will first get a list of PCs either name or IP Address within a network using LDAP (Active Directory) and once, we get the PCs, I have to establish a communication between the web service and the agents that reside in these client PCs,
How can I accomplish this?

I don't know how to get window title text of same process without setting a foreground window.
My code:
Using it, I get window handle.
struct handle_data {
unsigned long process_id;
HWND best_handle;
};
BOOL is_main_window(HWND handle) {
return GetWindow(handle, GW_OWNER) == (HWND)0 && IsWindowVisible(handle);
[Code] ....
This part doesn't work unless I use it with GetForegroundWindow(). But before using it, I have to set it. Is there any way to get window name without setting a foreground window?
unsigned long id = GetCurrentProcessId();
//HANDLE h = GetCurrentProcess();
HWND wind = find_main_window(id);
char window_title[256];
GetWindowText(wind, window_title, 256);
std::string txtt(window_title);

I'm trying to remove the title bar from an external app. The reason is I don't want anyone to be able to move it.
But my code below doesn't remove the title bar. Could this be because it's not removable? I read somewhere title bars of external apps may be not removable if the app doesn't allow it.
So, I'm not sure why my code doesn't work - either it's wrong or the app doesn't permit it?
My app is a winform.
int style = GetWindowLong(app1Win, GWL_STYLE);
style = style & ~WS_BORDER;
SetWindowLong(app1Win, GWL_STYLE, style);
SetWindowPos(app1Win, HWND_TOP, 0, 0, 0, 0, SWP_NOMOVE | SWP_NOSIZE);

What I have: A basic program for infinitely looping after and testing for an active process. It has a delay system built in to make it so it is not constantly iterating.
What I need: A way to get process IDs from other Processes other than my program. With a way to use that ID to detect if that process is active on the computer or not.
Parts of my code that need changing:
/* Code for handling the process would go here */
/* Code for detecting the target would go here */
What the goal of my program is: Perform operations to terminate the process of cmd.exe when it is active on the user's computer. Then output the status of the process and the time it took to find that process to the user.
It contained functions that I needed, but I need more information on how to apply them to other processes instead of the parent of my program and its' children.
Here is the code I prewrote for this so far:
Code:
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#include <time.h>
#define ZERO 0
#define INFINITE 1000000000000000
[Code] .....

Visual Studio 2013. C++.
Created a blank, SDI MFC app.
I added a new CMFCToolBar (by hand, didn't use a wizard)
It docks OK. The commands work OK. It renders OK. No problems there.
In the code, attempting to set the window text of this toolbar has no effect. The title bar text is always "Standard". I triple triple triple checked to make sure I don't have any resource ID conflicts. In a small app as this, it was pretty easy to verify this.
The toolbar also does not show in the menu illustrated in the screenshot. (The bottom, undocked toolbar should be titled "My Page Bar" and I think it should show up in the popup menu.)
I know I'm probably missing a simple step somewhere, but I haven't seen it. It looks like its getting mixed up with the Standard Toolbar resource ID somewhere but I could see nothing in the .rc or resource.h files.

I have an SDI app created with VC2012. Main view is a CFormView and it's the parent to four embedded dialogs. All four dialogs have title bars. On three of them, the title bars looks as I'd expect. Normal size, text left justified. On the fourth, the title bar is noticeably thicker and the text is centered. All styles are the same as far as I can tell. The main difference is the one that's acting up has a browser control on it, the others just standard controls. It looks normal on Windows 7.

So I was asked to create a C++ program that will ask the user to input 5 books with the ISBN, Title of the book and author/s. It will ask for 3 authors, if the book has only one author, you should leave "author 2 and author 3" blank and display only one author. Thing is... I'm having a problem with the if else condition at the last part of my program. I cant seem to make it work.
#include <iostream>
#include <cstring>
#define SIZE 5
using namespace std;
int i;

I want to create an application that starts an application and passes input to that application. I know how to start a process using the classes in System.Diagnostics, but I don't know how to pass data to the process.
For example, and this is just an example, I would like to be able to automatically start an application that requires a username and password and automatically enter the username and password. Of course, that might open the door to security vulnerabilities, but that's not the point of the exercise.
How to implement the functionality I described? Is there a general way to go about doing this or does it depend entirely on the idiosyncrasies of the application in question?

Is there any way to input a picture into an application? I want to make the console of my C++ program display an image across it for a short while. The picture in mind is a gif. If there is no way to make it display in the console, is there a way to make only the image and not the webpage pop up on the screen?
I am trying to replicate the Skyfall "M gets hacked" scene. But this would be useful for other purposes as well.
I am not familiar with using header files or any other files other than the .cpp file and I only use one .cpp file for all my programs.

I am using an increasing number of applications which can be serviced from a web page. These apps do not need tomcat, apache or IIS to be installed but they are able to serve out web pages on demand.
Question is how is this done? Is it just a thead polling a port, waiting for a mime message and then chucking out the content or is it something more complex than that?
