C :: Read Text From A File And Show What Words Occur How Many Times

I'm trying to make program that will read text from a file and show what words occur how many times. I'm trying to make it so that if a new string comes, it saves it into wlist[], and counts 1 to wcount[]. If the same word is there, it will just add 1 to wcount[]. The program will end when it gets to the end of a file.
I don't know the reason, but I can't get strcmp and strcpy to work. I had to put a pointer in curword, just to make it compile.
I have been given an assignment to make a code to read some text nd display all the words nd the number of times they appear in another file or as output without displaying the repeating words. I made the code but its not giving any output.
My program reads data from a txt file and it displays the test scores and the sum of the scores, and it also shows the max and min from the scores , so far only one number shows up from the scores instead 10 and i think my sum is wrong too, but i cant get the max and min to work ...

I am currently working out on a problem in which a c program is to be made which shows a large text file in parts. f For example: If file contains 200 lines. 50 lines will be shown on first page and user is asked to press any key to move to next page until EOF is found. user is allowed to return to previous page as well, and this is very complicated task for me. I need to compare the words from a text file with words from an array (which i got from another file) and count the instances of those words. I thought about making another array but that doesn't make sense since the text file may have a lot of words in it.

I'm having trouble with the switch-case function. I know that what I'm doing all works until it hits the switch function. I've tried switching one of the strcpy functions out with a printf, followed by a system("PAUSE") function, and it gave me results, so I know that the switch function is accepting my "hund" integer. I believe my problem lies within the strcpy function, and its use in the case function.
In short, why isn't the strcpy function working in the switch-case function? Below is my code as it is:

I am trying to read in player names (ex: first last) from a text file into the people[].name data struct. I can successfully read in my card file, but I cannot get this to work. I get a seg fault. I believe this is because nothing is actually being read in for my while loops. I can't use std::strings so these must be c-style strings aka char arrays.

I have program that is supposed to read in a story from an input file and separate the words and output the lines on which the word occurs. It needs to read in another input file that has a list of words (1 per line) to ignore. i.e. skip them when running through the story. If "Y" Than Inputs Are Taken From Next Line Else Input Ends.
But The Problem Is When Program Encounters ch==10 It Shows "More?(Y/N)" And Takes Input In cmd variable.If cmd=='Y' I Mean More From Next Line Than It Should Execute Scanf Again To Take ch I Mean User Input.But Its Not!!! Its Always Showing "More?(Y/N)" Again And Again Like A Loop.

I am writing a simple file/text parser to read a config file for some code I am working on. It's dead simple and not particularly smart but it should get the job done. The code reads a config file:
Here is where it gets wierd. You'll notice that there is an unused variable (filepath) in the config struct. This variable is not referenced or used anywhere in the code, ever. Yet if I comment out the declaration of char filepath[1024], the code segfaults partway through the read_config() function.
My best guess is that there is a buffer overflow elsewhere and it just so happens that the memory allocated for filepath happened to be there to catch it up until now, but I can't work out where it might be happening. With the declaration commented out, the read_config() function gets as far as reading the "padding" variable before it crashes. Yet when the declaration is there, then all the variabled are read correctly and everything seems to work.
I have a .txt file which I want to read from and then write a new text file, this time with sorted lines. It is easy to sort one value, but what about sorting entire lines based on one value?
I want to sort the lines based on the FIRST value.
My text file is in the correct folder and the name of my text file is the same as the code. I dont get no errors i dont see why i cant get my text to be read.

So what I am trying to do is from an array of integers to take numbers that occur only once. If 3 is in that away I am trying to input it in a different array only once.
input: 8 3 2 9 8 9 2 output: 2 3 8 9
I cannot find a way to solve this, and I have been trying to solve it for a long time.
I'm a beginner at programming and I'm not sure how to read in information from a text file. What I want to do is take a text file which contains around 20 rows and 3 columns of numbers, and put these into an array which can then be used for performing calculations. How do I do this? Would I need to declare the size of the array beforehand? When accessing my file, do I include the full address?
