I mean once the for loop finishes it prints me six different values classified into 3 groups as shown down:

The program cannot tell the user how many integers to enter. I need to have separate totals for the even and odd numbers. what would I need to use so that I can read whatever number of values the user inputs and get the sum of even and odd?

I'm printing the size of the array in main and inside the function...and inside the function its giving me a size = 2 which is incorrect though the size printed in main is correct (size = 20). I further narrowed down the discrepancy to this statement: sizeof(arr)

Aug 31, 2012How do you generate a random permutation of numbers from 0 to N without storing it in an array ? Note that duplicates are to be avoided so I can't use rand() calls to generate them. The problem I have is to partition N number of data points into k groups in random selection manner. I thought of random shuffling of indices using random_shuffle of stl but the indices need to be stored in an array. Is there a way to get N integers from [0..n] sorted in a random order, using which I can access a database ?

Our PC has 2 network cards. Multicast group 1 shall use card 1 and group shall use card 2. As long as both groups use different local ports it works fine. But when both group want to use the same port number then I can receive and send telegrams only through the first group that was created. For the second one I don't even get a FD_READ event at all.

Mar 14, 2014I have an EDI file whose structure is given below. This file has multiple records, each record contains a header (e.g EDI.DD.0000000001.20130809), then contents (i.e multiple paragraphs of text) and then footer (e.g End of Report/No EDI Activity). I have to read that entire file using regular expression using three groups.
I am using following regular expression to read the file.

(?<content>(?<=k<header>).*(?=k<footer>))
That expression reads the "header" and "footer" in respective groups properly but didn't pick the contents between header and footer in "contents" group.
I have changed the font of header and footer in below file to understand the format. I am using asp.net 3.5 framework.

C++ :: Can Folders Be Added To A Project
Feb 27, 2014I am writing a program that has many header files and their corresponding implementation files. I collected all the header files in a folder and did same for the implementation files into another folder. I'm using the Dev C++ IDE; I could add the files one by one to the project. Instead of doing this however, I tried adding the two folders to the project; but, the project did not compile!! The compiler could not find the files resident in each of the folders!
How I can add the folders to the project so that the internal files are visible to the compiler; or do I have to go the longer route of adding the internal files individually??
C :: Do While Loop Fails When More Conditions Are Added
Mar 29, 2014I'm trying to write a piece of code that calculates the difference in days between two manually input dates. The part of my code that's causing problems is:

When running the code and prompted to enter the date, if I input for example 31/12/2014, it'll be rejected and send me back to the beginning of the loop. Any date with 31 days involving months 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10 or 12 causes this problem. All other valid dates however work perfectly fine (e.g. 30/4/2014).
Something possibly worth mentioning is that, when I take out all other conditions from the loop, i.e.

it works fine (31/12/2014 is accepted), but of course I need all of the other conditions in there too.

Aug 27, 2013In my c project in code blocks , I have added another source file (KillerMoves.c) and a header file under the same name (KillerMoves.h). I added the "include guard" to prevent double inclusion. But from some reason, the program suddenly crashes with no warning or specific error. Nov 6, 2014I've been struggling with an object when trying to add it to a list with [Listname].push_back. You see, I have a list with some objects that will be rendered in the screen (Called objects) and a function to create a text box with some text. The function in question is the following:

It must display ALL digits in the number (all the digits the result ends up being). I know I can't use normal data-types, so what do I do?
Looks kinda like this:
