I was using the same item click event on another listview, and it worked perfectly... I don't know why this is happening, but here's my problem:
When I double click on an item, and try to obtain its index in the listview, the items index always comes back as -1... Obviously -1 isn't an index, and I'm guessing that it is returning -1 because that item does not exist on the listview, but from what I'm seeing, it is impossible for the item not to be inside of the listview...
When I uncomment the MessageBox, it shows -1... This is obviously not right lol. I have the same exact click event in another class, and I obtain the items index the same exact way.. The only difference between this listview and that one is that this listview is databound.. Is that the issue? If so, how does one overcome it?
actually i want to add combobox will all of the above elements in one combobox..when i double click it again..in next line another combobox will be added with all elements...
I am trying to do a LINQ Query by Double Clicking the child node. When I click on the parent node it brings up the correct data. But when I click on the child node it still brings up the data from the parent node. How do I get the child node to display the correct data?

I'm trying to create an array of button (user/runtime created buttons) and get different interpretations of the click event depending of wich button is clicked.

I have a dialog with a control using this CFulltextCtrl. I can create and show the html perfectly inside the form. But all links inside this control don't work (scenario 1). If I create a form who have a control of the type CIEBrowser, the EXACTLY same html code works perfectly (scenario 2).
In particular, I need that when I click in one link, execute a method called OnClick, who performs all that I need, just like in scenario 2.

I know how to add a new item to a folder right-click menu, using the registry, but it won't show up on file right-click menu. give me a link to how this is done? I want this new menu appear on every file R-C menu, file registered with the system or not. Is there a simple way to do this as adding a item to folder R-C menu, or will i have to iterate all the registered file types in registry to do it. I tried google with many search terms, but i can't find a source for this.
I have a list with 2 items in it. When I double click on item 1, I want to open Window1.xaml, when I double click on item 2, I want to open Window2.xaml...

I'm having a hard time figuring how to get my imagelist index 3 icon to display in the nodes "N1" and "V Speeds" below? So, as you can see in the attachment, the closed folder icon is currently shown which is index 0 in the imagelist. But I want index icon 2 to show in these two nodes.
I have two menu items. When item 1 is disabled, I want item 2 to be disabled as well. In the OnUpdate handler of menu item 1, I have tried to use "t_pMenu = pCmdUI->m_pMenu;", "t_pMenu = pCmdUI->m_pSubMenu;" and "t_pMenu = pCmdUI->m_pParentMenu;" but I always get NULL t_pMenu. How can I achieve this purpose?

now here is my problem: I have a listview witch is populated by user input(lets say for the ease of argument that the input is "first-name" "last-name" and "e-mail adres") all of with get there information from textboxes. then all the information gets stored in a list and on closing that list is stored in a xml-file in the following format

the input, saving and loading is no problem. when you open the file this listview is in view = List so that you only see the last-name(I prefer it that way since I know how to code that) and when you click it it fills the textboxes with the corresponding information.
what I am trying to figure out it how to make it that it sorts itself(preferred sorting when something is changed). I tried the ListView.sorting = SortOrder.Ascending; when I do it that way it messes up the corresponding information(is it clear what I mean or do I need to add an example).

i have a list view, which is shown below as an example, i am hoping to achieve to find out a method of adding up the values in the Sub2 Column in C#. Then i will output it to a label on my form. So the total should be 14. But i don't have a pre-defined number of rows, and thats what i needs to be. I thought of something like

I have 3 columns already made Product, Price, Quantity, - what I want to do is take the textbox's txtName, txtPrice, txtQuantity, and add them to the columns in the right specific places.
I've been trying for a while now and I can't seem to replicate this model without using a grid. I've tried making some simple custom panels and a wrappanel that makes a new column after n pixels or n number of items which works; however, I'm unable to find a way to stagger each column.

I've made solutions that use a Grid that do stagger the columns however what I need is a panel that uses columns only and it must be able to be used as the itemspanel for a ListView.
I'm trying to use a listview component to show all the fonts on my system, and display each item (row) in the actual font design.
When I run the following code, nothing displays in the listview.
If I rem out line 4, then the list populates with all the fonts, but of course, in the default listview font.
I thought I read somewhere that each item in a listview can be set to a different font.

i need to change the text in multiple ComboBoxs. i could do it one by one, but i have about 11 i need to change. i feel like doing it one at a time is not efficient. i was wondering if i can put the comboboxs into an array so i can use a for loop to change them all with out writeing it out 11 times.
