Mar 28, 2015I need the gode to define unlimited array of double
View 1 RepliesI need the gode to define unlimited array of double
View 1 RepliesI am working on a project and I need to save and work on very big numbers, let me take u an example :
E.g. I want to find the biggest prime number ( 2,3,5,7,... ) but I just know about int, double and etc. which have unlimited storage .
How to save very big numbers on the memory and use them ?
So, I'm supposed to do : Create a function with unlimited number of arguments, which forms a dynamic string based on the following form (%d, %s, %f, %lf, %c), with the following prototype:
char*create(char*form, ...);
The function is supposed to have the following output:
create("Peter is %d years old and is in %s-%c class.",7,"second",'A');
-> Peter is 7 years old and is in 7-A class.
create("His GPA is %lf.",4.96);
-> His GPA is 4.96.
create("His favourite subject is math!");
-> His favourite subject is math!
I've managed to do the following :
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#include <string.h>
#include <stdarg.h>
char *create(char *form, ...) {
char *res =(char*)calloc(1,1),*pos_int,*pos_float,*pos_str,pos_char,*pos_long;
[Code] ....
The part with %d and %s string was not that hard, but now I'm supposed to convert %f and %lf to string, I've tried using sprintf but I've had no luck so far, another problem is the fact that I've gotta use lists to complete the task. I've been trying to convert float to string for the past 2 hours, but I'm drawing a blank now.
I'm looking for a way to enter an unlimited amount of types in the <> part of a template function, I found Variadic templates but I'm not sure if it can do it, all the examples I've found are similar to the C argument list and don't use the <> part of the template at all.
I tried this, but the overload is ambiguous?
#include <iostream>
#include <typeinfo>
template<typename T>
void stuff() {
std::cout << typeid(T).name() << "
[Code] ....
How can I define type MARKS which will be able to hold 4 elements just like array? I want to access it just like normal array elements using brackets []. In the following struct I want to use such type.
Code:
typedef struct {
MARKS ** pointers;
} ARGUMENTS
void main(){
ARGUMENTS arguments;
[Code] ......
Purpose of the struct ARGUMENTS is to hold 4 pointers to string. I want to mark few positions in string so I can simple access them. E.g. name=John
Code:
arguments[0][0]=0; // begin of the param name
arguments[0][1]=3; // end of the param name
arguments[0][2]=5; // begin of the value
arguments[0][3]=8; // end of the value I mean not to save int but the pointer to the corresponding position.
I have array of 100 elements and I'm trying to write elements which index is smaller than the index of the maximum element of the array. My problem is that I can't determine how big this array should be . I found which is my biggest index.
Code:
#include <visual_2013.h>
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#define DIM 10
void enterArray(int x[]);
void array2(int x[]);
int maxAndIndex(int x[], int n, int *index);
int main()
[Code]...
How do I do a get/post for an array in c#? In C#, you get and set variables like this:
public int ID { get; set; }
How would one get and set an array in C#?
This will not work:
public uint [5] BIG_Hash {get; set;}
I'm currently trying to remove the first element in an int array using objects in C#. I have just coded how to add an element to that start of the array and though it was just a case of changing a few things.
Here's the code for the addFirst() but i can't for the life of me figure out removeFirst()
public void addFirst(int value) {
if (isFull()) {
throw new Exception("List full");
[Code] ....
I want to display array element in c#..how can i do that..can i use Console.WriteLine method directly to display?
For e.g.,
int[,]mArrayy=new int [2,4]{
{2,2,2,2},
{3,3,3,3}
};
Now how can i display those array elements?
I use the array of Radiobutton,string,.. in my project. How i can destruct these array from memory,because i see the stackoverflew exception.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to take string input into a char array.
What is the functionality for the above problem.
- API Function
TestSend(ref char data, ref int len, char slot);
---------------------------------------------------
Byte[] IccSelect = new Byte[7]{
0x00,
0xA4, // INS
0x04, //1 0x00, //2 0x0E,
0x31,
0x50,
};
Int32 len = 20;
TestSend(ref ??, ref len, '0');//byte array to char conversion
my array contains elements of integer type
how can i convert my array to long array
i need to search for a keyword in a binary(.raw)file and have to extract the characters(until a '&' character is found)that immediately following the keyword .
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the following method:
public string[,] StringConvert_tblVFWPost(DataTable dt1) {
string[,] stringArray = new string[dt1.Rows.Count, dt1.Columns.Count];
for(int row = 0; row < dt1.Rows.Count; ++row) {
for(int col = 0; col < dt1.Columns.Count; col++)
[Code] ....
The error I'm getting is "Cannot implicitly convert type 'string[*,*]' to 'string'". So that tells me what the issue is. However, I'm not sure how to fix it.
How do I change this method, so that it properly returns my two dimensional array?
I am having difficulty with arrays because of the limitation of the size of the arrays that I can declare. I need sizes that are very large and windows or C# does not allow me to create bigger than the following for example:
public static int[] gaPoints = new int[20000000000000000000 + 1];
I get an error message saying that "integral size is too large".
I need to be able to declare sizes that are even much larger than the abovementioned size.
How can I circumvent this problem?
Do I have to use something other than arrays?
Is there a quick way to determine if a value is in an enum? Consider for example,
public enum GenderEnum
{
Unknown = 0,
[Code].....
I don't want to convert to an array if possible, just check the enum and get a yes/no answer.
In my application there is a structure that holds 200 parameters for 200 tests. These structure is converted to byte array . I want to write this byte array to a file in save button and when I click open button, this file must open and write these bytes to corresponding text boxes. How it possible.?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to understand how to get the following value from a define. The code i am trying to understand is as follows:
Code:
#define RADIO_CONFIGURATION_DATA_RADIO_DELAY_CNT_AFTER_RESET {0xF000}
Code:
#define RADIO_CONFIGURATION_DATA {
Radio_Configuration_Data_Array,
RADIO_CONFIGURATION_DATA_CHANNEL_NUMBER,
RADIO_CONFIGURATION_DATA_RADIO_PACKET_LENGTH,
RADIO_CONFIGURATION_DATA_RADIO_STATE_AFTER_POWER_UP,
RADIO_CONFIGURATION_DATA_RADIO_DELAY_CNT_AFTER_RESET,
RADIO_CONFIGURATION_DATA_CUSTOM_PAYLOAD
}
and also have this
Code:
typedef struct {
U8 *Radio_ConfigurationArray;
U8 Radio_ChannelNumber;
U8 Radio_PacketLength;
U8 Radio_State_After_Power_Up;
U16 Radio_Delay_Cnt_After_Reset;
U8 Radio_CustomPayload[RADIO_MAX_PACKET_LENGTH];
}
tRadioConfiguration;
so then in the api i have the following
Code:
for (; wDelay < pRadioConfiguration->Radio_Delay_Cnt_After_Reset; wDelay++); .
so my question is how do i declare my variables, correct terminology ?, to achieve this.
I have one small doubt in arrays. Is it possible to define arrays like this a[b[10]] ?...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am grabbing data from three entities and want to grab a field value in each of the entites and place it in an arraylist. What I would like to do is loop through the arraylist for all the values and do something for each value only once. If the value in the array list is repeated, I want to not do anything for it and continue till the end. Basically, I loop through all the values do something for each value and skip over the repeated value if I already did something.

I nead to define an a negative number a normal posetive number i defined like #define RSSI_UP 1 can i write #define RSSI_DOWN -1???

I want to define a class, which will have two members, for example, vaporPressureStatus and vaporPressure
enum vpStatus_t {nonesense, unknown, known, saturated};
class pore_t {
public:
vpStatus_t vpStatus;
double vaporPressure;
};
when vpStatus is nonsense and unknown, the vaporPressure should not have a value; and if I calculate out a value for vaporPressure, the vpStatus can be set as known.
I am wondering if there is any set, pair or other structure can hold this two members together, so that when I change one's value, the other guy will also change accordingly.
