C++ :: Randomizing Array Without Repetition?

I just want to make a WORD GUESSING GAME which when you play it and got the correct word will ask you to play again then it will automatically randomized the words in the array list.. then when you play the game, the words will not repeat until you played them all then it will stop.

Creating a 2D array . I wrote the following code and I get a error from the system that said
"error C2144: syntax error : 'int' should be preceded by ';'"

I currently have a structure that contains strings.
What I would like to do is randomize these strings so that for example the user picks an input, one of these strings will display.
Is it possible to do with the rand function or do I have to go about creating my own functing, assigning values to these strings somehow etc. etc.
I tried reading up on it but as far as I could realize you could only use rand () with numbers, set values etc.

The purpose of doing this is so that the top of the if statements is not preferred over the bottom. I tried assigning enum values to each case. Then choose a random integer r from 0 to the size of the std::list myList containing those enum elements. The enum value is found using it = std::next (myList, r). Then if the if statement corresponding to that enum value is false, then myList.erase (it), and repeat the process with the newly reduce myList. It works, and everything seems nicely randomized. But it is disappointing much slower than when I used the original if-else statements (it is being applied hundreds of times).
Here is a snippet of my code (I decided not to use switch statements because it looked too clumsy):

There is a crowd of girls. Each guy will choose a girl, and then choose a facing direction to dance with his chosen girl. But not all facing directions are possible if someone is standing at the spot he wants to stand at to get his desired facing direction. Without randomizing the if-else statements, most of the guys will end up facing the same direction, which I don't like.

I got this program to create an array of playing cards and assign the values and suits and shuffle the array. I'm at the point where I need to output the cards but I need to burn the first card by making it output "**" instead of the card. my cards[] is a constant so I can's assign the first card as such.

The program should store a character array in reverse order then display the reversed array. I have also included in the code that will display the actual characters into the array as it loops through. So I know the characters are being stored, but why doesn't it display the entire string when I call it?

I wrote this simplified version of a program i am writing that parses data in UDP packets. In the process of doing so i pretty much answered all my questions and fix all the problems i was having.
decodeSystemMap function will be in loop, and will proccess packets that have mostly the same data, only a few items will be added or changed or deleted.
whats the best way to check if there are any new, deleted, or removed items in the packet and only modify those?
Is there anything unsafe / dangrous about the way the code is now?

im trying to read in 1 array and get 2 as outputs from 3 different functions.my read array is easy enough were im getting confused is how to read that array, separate it and take out only the parts i want and place them into a 2nd, then again a 3rd array.i have the following so far:

Assume you want to use a loop to process an array of characters starting from the beginning of the array. You want the loop to stop when you read the null terminator character from the array. Fill in the loop test condition that will make this work correctly.

I have a multidimensional array that runs parallel with a string array

I need to sort this and I know how to do it. But I need to sort it again with the highest value in the first row and keep all information in that row paired with the name . So

I need so swap this whole rows. I'm using dynamic array. So my question is Do I have to do a bunch of temps to move them? Or is there a way to move the whole int array row as a single unit?

I wanted to print the values of a array from a function by passing the array as well as the number of elements to be read. For a single dimensional array, this is how i have written it. It's pretty straight forward. I want to read 5 elements from the 5th element in the array.

I'm wondering if it is possible to pass a 2d array to a function where the size of the array is not known at runtime.
I've tried
function ( array[][6] ) ;
But the size of the array has to be constant so it cannot be declared later.
I've tried using a template but you still have to declare the size of the array at runtime. Is this even possible at all?
The only other way I can think of is using a dynamic 2d array but how to create one and manipulate it.

I'm trying extremely hard to understand pointers and I have the basic concept down.. I feel as though my knowledge of dynamically allocated pointers and pointers in general is not enough to understand the logic behind what I'm trying to do. The problem is that the donations array must be able to accept any number of donations. I've made it do just that, but there is also an array of pointers which must each point to the same element in the donations array. The program works if I assign int *arrPtr[100] for example, but it does not work if I try to dynamically allocate it to accept the same number of elements for donations entered by the user. My program takes the values from one array and searches for their index position in another array (linear search algorithm). This is an example of the issue im having(its not part of the actual code below)
a[]={1,2,3,4,5,6}
Arr[]={1,2,2,3,4,5}
If it finds 1 in arr, it returns 0, which is fine but if it finds 2 in arr it return 1 and 1 instead of 1 and 2.
