There is only one thing I need here. When the paint program is opened I need it to automatically open it maximized. Other than that my code works perfectly for what I'm trying to build.
It has to be maximized so when a friend opens it after I send it to him, it auto maximizes and doesn't start drawing on his desktop.
#include <iostream>
#include <Windows.h>
using namespace std;
int main() {
system("start C:/Windows/System32/mspaint.exe");
FreeConsole();
Sleep(1000);
[Code] .....

My program accepts strings, places them in a vector and then "bleeps!" out words of my choosing, in this case, "broccoli". But I'm having trouble keeping the output window open even with my Keep_window_open() implementation.
#include "iostream"
#include "string"
#include "vector"
#include "algorithm"
#include "cmath"
using namespace std;

I am developing a MDI application that will contain a RibbonBar and a Properties Pane window. The MDI documents are not tabbed. I am finding that when I try to move the client window around, it gets clipped by the RibbonBar and the Properties Pane window (shown in image). I know the client window cannot go outside the client area, but can the client window be on top of the ribbon bar and the properties pane window?
I am using VStudio 2008.

I have a list with 2 items in it. When I double click on item 1, I want to open Window1.xaml, when I double click on item 2, I want to open Window2.xaml...
The code below works for popping up a message box, or window for that matter. But I really need to get the Window1 and Window2 based on the clicking of the correct selected item in the list.
Here is some code:
<ListView d:DataContext="{d:DesignData }" Name="PharmacyLv" IsSynchronizedWithCurrentItem="True" l:Sortbehavior.CanUserSortColumns="true" >
<ListView.ItemContainerStyle>
<Style TargetType="ListViewItem">
<EventSetter Event="MouseDoubleClick" Handler="ListViewItem_PharmDoubleClick" />
</Style>
</ListView.ItemContainerStyle>

How can I draw a sprite/graphic on the window of an third party application? E.g. I want to draw a graphic beneath each tab of Firefox for additional information. The position of the sprite needs to be relativ to the position of firefox, so if you move firefox, the sprite moves with it.
The solution needs to work on mac and pc. So I'll use a crossplatform framework like c++ boost or something.
Of course I can get the position and then just redraw it. But what's the best way to draw it?
Just found a tool which does what I need. Basically a HUD like this: [URL] .... The boxes with the numbers are what I need.

I have this problem, then solve it by using the other kind of SDL.dll(eg. 32-bit instead of 64-bit). However, I get the error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc00000be). Click OK to close the application.
no matter what SDL.dll I use. So far, the only solution does not work for me,

I want to open one new CMD from console application, write text into the new CMD and then coming back to the control on the old cmd. (like interactively working on the both)
look into the below code
Process P1 = Process.Start(@"C:WINDOWSsystem32cmd.exe");
P1.StartInfo.RedirectStandardInput = true;
P1.StartInfo.RedirectStandardOutput = true;
P1.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = false;
StreamWriter wr = P1.StandardInput;
wr.WriteLine("First line in New Cmd");
Console.WriteLine("First line in Old Cmd");
wr.WriteLine("Second line in New Cmd");
Console.WriteLine("Second line in Old Cmd");
it is giving the exception "StandardIn has not been redirected"

I want to create an application that starts an application and passes input to that application. I know how to start a process using the classes in System.Diagnostics, but I don't know how to pass data to the process.
For example, and this is just an example, I would like to be able to automatically start an application that requires a username and password and automatically enter the username and password. Of course, that might open the door to security vulnerabilities, but that's not the point of the exercise.
How to implement the functionality I described? Is there a general way to go about doing this or does it depend entirely on the idiosyncrasies of the application in question?

I just can't seem to grasp of how to tell when a specific tab has been selected. I just need to know what to look for with winproc.

I know that where I have the intIndex++ line is wrong. It's just going to stop at the last index and call it good, but I don't know how to make it stop at the matching name. The only examples I can ever seem to find use the foreach loop to print out a value, and I'm clearly just not understanding this enough to make it work for me.
Instructions are:
--Declare a variable to store the result of the search, int intIndex;
--Use an if statement with the Contains method to check if the name in the search box is in the queue.
--If Contains is true, initialize intIndex to zero and use a foreach to walk through queue, else display a message that the name is not in the list.
--If a match is found use intIndex to select the matching entry in listbox and display a message indicating the name was found. Be sure to increment intIndex each time through the loop.
private void btnSearchByName_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) {
//delcare int variable to use as the index for the list box
int intIndex;
//If Contains is true
if (cstrName.Contains(txtSearchName.Text))
[Code] .....

I am trying to select 3 questions randomly from a string array and create another array with the randomly selected questions then display them in labels.
As you can see in the code I have used Array.Clear method to remove the selected question from the array to prevent duplicate questions being selected. For some reason this is not working! The "Randomly" selected question is ALWAYS the 5th element [4] of the randomQuestions array and this element is duplicated for each iteration of the loop.
public void shuffleQuestions() {
string questionselected;
string[] randomQuestions = {
"What is the speed limit from the time you pass an Accident sign until you have passed the crash site?",
"What must you do at a red traffic light?",
"What is the maximum possible speed limit on the open road?",
[Code ....
