We are tasked to create a program that will take racing times from the user from two different teams. Then determine who is the winner of the specific race. The race times are placed into an array, and I have the information being placed in the array correct but I am unsure on how to access it with an equation to determine the winner

What I'm doing is giving the user the choice to show 2 different dates. 1 in yyyy-mm-dd notation and the other in dd-mm-yyyy notation.
I'm using a second form to do this.
So from Form1 I have my data in the datagrid and in Form2 I have 2 radio buttons giving the user the choice between Date1 and Date2. So how would I be able to interact with the first form with the radio buttons?

I have written a MFC dll to interact with an API and it is run by the target program. the first 100 bars are drawn properly but then the program ceases to operate. I am guessing I have a memory leak but I probably just dont understand what I am doing as I am quite new to programming MFC GDI. Here is my code that causes the trouble...
The variables coming in are commented out to facilitate testing and so it would be displaying the same bars over and over because of this. it worrks for 100 bars, then crashes.

I am using libserial library to interact with a modem using c++. The C++ code sends an AT command:

MY task is to write a program that does the following things:
1.Produce the table by reading in the data from bmi.txt (on Moodle) into a 2-D array.
2. Display the table neatly on the screen, with row and column headings. The BMI should go from 20 to 34. The height should go from 60 to 76 inches.
3. Prompt the use for their height (in inches) and their weight.
4. Make the program print the closest BMI.
If their weight is lower than the values on the table, use 20 as the BMI.
If their weight is higher than the values on the table, use 34 as the BMI.
5.Loop the program so the user can find more BMI’s.

I have been asked to write a lottery program in c using 5 separate functions 1 to take 6 numbers from user 2 to display the numbers 3 to sort the numbers 4 compare the chosen numbers to the winning numbers and 5 to list the frequency the user pick a number depending on how many times they play the game the problem im having is with the first 2 functions i can take the input and pass it to a display function but cannot get it to display the numbers here is what i have. Fairly simply BAC calculator, and I am trying to get data from a text tile, which you can see a sample of just below the code. I have names in a text file followed by three scores. I have tried and tried to get this to work but im totally lost. I need to take the names and store them into an array, and then take the three scores after the names and store then into a separate array. Then I need to output the information into a table like this:
name score score score
name score score score
name score ..... etc....
I have tried...
A loop to iterate 11 times for the 11 bowlers. each time it iterates i use getline to store the name into array[index] and then use a nested loop with myfile >> array2[index2] to store the scores. Its not working when i use a test loop to display each index in either array.

I am trying to make a function that uses an array from a data file. I idea is a user inputs a number and if it matches one in the data file they will get access. I can make a function that opens the file, but returns 0. So all the user has to do is enter 0 and they get access. None of the numbers from the file come into play. I have tried turning a string into an int but that did not work. Now trying to figure out how to pass an array in a function. Here is what I have so far:

When I try an put the input data into an array it crashes my program. I can put it into a single string but not an array of strings... This is needed so I can bring all the data in to compare it and rearrange it.

I'm having issues reading to a 2d array from a file. When I try to read the data from my file into my matrix variable it simply doesn't read anything and leaves the variable unmodified. I've tried just reading the first piece of data in the main function and it doesn't work there either. I'm really perplexed at this point since I've never had an issue reading from a file before. Heres what I am suppose to do, So it doesnt seem hard to understand my messy code!
1. Gotta load the file "FactoryData.txt"
2. Load all values in my 2D array (array[5][3])
3. Print out the array to ensure that the copying went by well.
Heres my problem:
1. The for loops is REALLY off in my eyes. From my knowledge (correct me if im wrong), its suppose to be for(r=0;r<5;r++) not <=. BUT somehow im getting the results I want (in terms of formatting). HERE IS MY OUTPUT

I have a data file called "data.txt" which contains an unknown amount of random numbers. I was successfully able to open that file read from it all the numbers and cout the total amount of numbers and all the numbers inside the file. I have to now convert those numbers from file into an array dynamically.

I'm learning C# and having fun and I've been practicing by working on this little data entry console application. Basically the user inputs first name, last name, age, gender, employee id, then I ask the user if he/she wants to add another entry, if yes then loops back at the top, and if no, it prints out the amount of entries added. The issue I'm having is that the entry list is never kept or stored when adding another entry, it replaces what was entered before which is not what I'm looking for. I don't know how to stuff one entry list information seperately in an array so that I can print out which ever entry the user decides to choose once he/she is done adding entries. Is there a way to make this work?

The problem is as following. First, I have 21 arrays named: integer abee1, abee2, ... , abee20 and myarray all with the same dimension of [51][4]. Next, in a loop of 20 circles, I fill myarray with random integers then copy it into abee1-20 (each one per iteration). Then, for each array (abee1-20), I want to calculate sum of all numbers in second column as cost of that array and store it in the a new array called arrayCosts[20][2] ( char arrayName, int arrayCost)- the name of array in the arrayName column and cost of that array into arrayCost column . After that, I want to sort arrayName based on the cost and extract the 3 top array with lowest cost. I know that I should do a search in the array to find these three. Finally, copy these three into 3 new array called elite1, elite2, elite3.I do not know what to do.

I have a circle of data that is represented as:
vector<vector <unsigned char> >* data;
The first dimension of this vector is the angle of the data so there are 360 angles, and the second dimension is the bins of the data in which there are 512 bins per angle. Each bin has a value from 0 to 15 to determine the intensity of the bin. So basically, when this is all display, there will be a circle of data, with varying colors of intensity at each bin.
What is the best approach to doing this in MFC? How to draw this on the screen?
