I am currently having problems creating a loop that will allow my user to choose to return to the beginning of the program or quit.

I have not yet finished designing the interface for a couple of the operations, but right now i am hung up on trying to return to the beginning. I believe it is because the j was defined inside do and isn't carried out of the do statement for while.

I've read that we can write a program that displays a menu of commands for the user to choose from.We can write some functions that implement these commands, then store pointers to the functions in the array :

We can get a similar effect with a switch statement but using an array of function pointers gives us more flexibility since the elements of the array can be changed as the programm is running.

I was asked to create a loop that outputs until Quit is entered for customer name. This is what my output is suppose to look like: I will also attach the code I made. This is my current iteration of the program. Obviously, I haven't finished writing the case 1 of the first switch, but for the other ones. I thought that return main would cause the program to loop back to the beginning after executing the case, but I see that it is not the case (pun not intended). Anyways, what would I have to insert to cause the program to loop again (other than for case 3)? And another question, why is it that in scanf in the first case, the program only accepts two characters before finishing?

I am working on a program in C# that should make a user choose a specific path for the program to work.
The path they are choosing is a path for a game and from that selected path I use coding to load pictures from to the program.
Anyhow
I am able to make the user choose a path and save the selected path in a xml file.
But the user can select ANY path.
How could I do to make the user choose a specific path that I want them to choose?

So I'm making my first program w/ C++ and its a game guessing game. I've learned how to use booleans, chars, strings, if/else, loops, and input. Anything past that I dont know. I've gotten my game to work properly except for the fact that when you guess incorrectly, the program closes. I want the program to go to the beginning of the program again so the user can restart. So far i've gotten the loop to beginning thing to work but not well. It'll only repeat twice before closing again and it'll say the user got the wrong answer even if it was correct. Here's my code

Dynamic memory allocation in array in c programming. I am trying to make the user to choose the size of array they want to engage in the game.

In class we were asked to create a C++ BTree program that would allow a user to input the following data types and then store said data in a .txt file:

I'm trying to create a program that allows the user to enter an unknown number of income and expense amounts. The program has to us see a while loop and display the income total, expense total, and total profit or loss. I've got it really close, but I'm doing the loop wrong. It counts the sentinel value (-1) towards the total, instead of just ending like it is supposed to.
