C/C++ :: How To Save Entire Web Page As Image (JPEG Format)
Apr 17, 2014
I was trying to capture entire web screen and save as .jpeg format.
So far I have done this using C# Windows Application.
Same thing I am willing to do in 'VC++ 2010 Win32. In my C++ project I have created a Toolbar with a button on IE 9 browser. And on Toolbar button click I can print current window.
But I don't know how to take a snapshot and save to specified directory in .jpeg format using VC++ 2010. I have Windows 7.
I need to save RGB values of each pixel in a 3D array A[width][height][3]. I found a code online that transfers the bytes into an array but I cant understand how bytes are saved them so i could transfer them into an array. The truth is I dont know much about working with images at all so i have a problem working on them. How to transfer the RGB data from an .jpeg image into a 3D array? This is my code so far:
#include <iostream> #include <jerror.h> #include <jpeglib.h> using namespace std; int main(){ FILE *pic = fopen( "image.jpeg", "rb+" );
What is the best way to save a c# web page to database, either sql or oledb both fine. What I am looking to do is save all the data that has been entered into a database then upload this data to a grid view or form view.
The problem is there is a a lot of data on the page. Such as drop down lists, check boxes panels text boxes. I am able to display the text boxes in the database when i enter information into them. this is not working for the other objects. Also there is fixed data in the panels which doesn't require user input but I still want this info saved as it is vital.
In short I want to save the data from a page ive created called DOCare.aspx into a database. then take the data and display it in Forms.aspx a different page, where it will list all the completed forms for the user to modify if needed.
How to do this or links to websites that have information on this?? Dont know if i am wording it wrong but just cant find a way to do this. Everyone ive seen is working with small amounts of data and only text boxes.
My objective is to create a file and save some text in it. But the twist is that file should be created in pdf format.
I have written following code:
Code: #include<stdio.h>
Code: int main() { FILE *fp; char ch; fp=fopen("file.pdf","w"); fprintf(fp, "%PDF-1.3"); //to initiate data storage in pdf file printf(" Enter data to be stored in to the file:"); while((ch=getchar())!=EOF) putc(ch,fp); fclose(fp); return 0;}
Now my file is created in pdf format, but when I open it by double click on it, it is not open and gives the message like: "Error in opening document. This file is damaged and could not be repaired."
I'm trying to edit an image by multiplying the red component of each pixel by 10 and leaving the other components (green and blue) untouched. I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to edit the pixels one by one. I have this so far. I think there is something wrong with my ppm header as well. Is there a way to make a ppm header without specifying the bounds so that it conforms to the image you are putting in?
Is it possible to save web page as image with web application? if yes then how?.I searched and searched and searched but all examples i found were for windows application and i'm facing lot of trouble while converting it for web application.
I'm trying to read from a header file to take the image dimensions and other variables but I don't understand how to iterate through the "key" so it saves each line.
This is what the header file will always look like:
!INTERFILE := !imaging modality := nucmed !version of keys := 3.3 ; !GENERAL DATA :=
[Code].....
Ideally it would just skip the keys that aren't wanted and keep moving through the lines. Should there be a for loop for the key (and if so, how does that work with pointers?) or should this method just be scratched...
I am trying to automatically(periodically) print screen a custom area of the screen, save it as an image file (the image will have the same format always), and then use OCR to get the text in the image as usable string variables. Is this doable? I was looking into tesseract OCR but I find it a bit unclear.
I m making calendar in server control page by taking composite control.I am also adding textbox in each cell of calendar. Now i want to access the value of each textbox of selected month and respected date in default.aspx page on button click event. Here the button is not a custom control but defined in default.aspx page..
Can't access textbox text and date or controls of server page in website(default.aspx) page.
I am programming an application in c# that allows the user to edit images. The user can use a Pen to write on the image, and the user can also use a highlighter (a big semi-transparent Pen) to highlight what they've written. I need the user to be able to erase only the highlighting without erasing the pen drawings.
My solution was to have the user draw on one graphics window when the pen is selected and draw on the other graphics window when the highlighter is selected. I will then enable the eraser on either graphics window depending on what the user wants to erase.
My program will let the user save the image and then load it into the program again for later editing. When I save the image, I have to compress the layers (different graphics windows) into one bitmap. When I load the bitmap back into my application, I lose my layers and cannot erase just the highlighting without also erasing the pen as well.
How can I save an image file with layers, and then recover the layers when my program starts up again?
I am not opposed to saving two images - one with the pen graphics window and the other with the highlighting. If I do that, how can I merge the two images into one layer when I load the images back into my program?
1st when i fill the things on form then saved in database after saving record when i want add another record it shows an error. after saving it saves new record refresh doesn't work
I am trying to develop a GUI using MFC, but I am having trouble using CFiledialog to save a file. The problem is, the file is not getting saved to the folder when I use the CFiledialog. Below is the code I am using.
Problem in converting Jpeg to DIB, Iam using the same code for Jpeg RGB(Jpeg_color_space=JCS_RGB) and Grayscale Images(JCS_GRAYSCALE). this code works correctly for Jpeg RGB Images when i create DIB for 24 bit. But for Jpeg Grayscale(JCS_GRAYSCALE) images, when i am converting to DIB I get a Black color space next to image, but the original image does'nt contain any black space.
Following is the code i use for converting jpeg to DIB.
//Function to convert jpeg to dib.
int convert_jpeg_to_dib(const char * filename) { struct jpeg_decompress_struct cinfo; unsigned char * buffer; int result = 0; struct my_error_mgr jerr; FILE * infile; /* source file */ int row_stride; /* physical row width in output buffer */
I have a JPEG in memory as a char* and a bytesize, if I save it to disk with a .jpg extension it's a perfect JPEG file. The thing is, I don't want to save it unless it's a minimum width/height. I got it into memory using a socket recv() call. What should I do ?
I'm trying to read a jpeg pixel and then compare it if it'x bigger than a number to change it. Either I'm breaking the folder if I start less than 22000 which is very large number shouldn't include the header or I'm getting solid color without any different.
I have created TIFF Reader using libtiff in c++. Now I have many tiff files with old-style jpeg compression that has to be read/open using libtiff in c++.
I guess, as "old-style" JPEG compression is deprecated in TIFF, because it was never fully specified. And because of this under-specification, various vendors implemented it in different, incompatible ways. Support was dropped in favor for TIFF compression 7, JPEG.
Unfortunately, old TIFF files using this compression still exists.
My application is processing a large amount of data (approx. 50 - 100 GB of txt data). given the machine regular user usually has, my app is writing some tmp data into a local tmp directory. and this is working just fine until users get comfortable with my software and start changing that content of local tmp dir (while the program is running). which does not give any problems like crashing a program if handled at the right time but produces wrong results in the end. now this is not my problem but i would still like to somehow restrict users from even peeking into the tmp dir. I am just tired of getting emails saying my software is cr.... (maybe it is but i don't think it is because of that)
So is it possible to somehow encrypt the entire dir so that only the program has access to it . it would be even better if the dir could look as some encrypted index file so that when user sees the warning :
