I want to add all the values of Job1 for each employee in a time range which is one week starting from monday to sunday. How can I group the Job1 values week wise and store them in another datatable.
I am trying to query dates between two textbox values converted to datetime in C#. The dates are returning in the correct datetime and no conversion problem exists there.
However when I run the below LINQ to SQL query in C# it returns no enumerable results. But if I take the below code:
DbCommand dc = dbHistoryContext.GetCommand(qryRes); Console.WriteLine(dc.CommandText);
and get the results as a string of text and cut and paste that into the SQL Server Management studio and execute it - then it works. What do I need to do to search between two dates so that it properly works. The field is of format Date in SQL Server if that matters and the fields being used to pass the information to it are DateTime. The compiler doesn't show any errors but it just doesn't return results.

If I want to check if all the variables are pairwise distinct, i.e. they're all different. Here's a code I wrote to do this:

What is the best way you can think of? Without having all those variables in an array. Otherwise it wouldn't be so hard to create a function.

I have the code in place.Where I'm experiencing major issues is in maintaining two distinct linked lists. One should contain the frontier of the A-star algorithm and the other records the optimal path. In execution, however, it seems that only one list is in local memory in any one function. Therefore, when my function recurses, the lists begin to get confused and the whole algorithm veers off course.
Here is my structure definition in list.h:

Here's the general flow of the program, without posting a wall of code: both lists are passed to another function in main.c, expand(), with this line:
expand(current, gState, &open, &closed);
The lists are later passed from expand() to another main.c function, generateOptions(), in this line:
generateOptions(&array, goalState, open, closed);
generateOptions() returns back to expand(), which recurses on itself with the first item in the open list and continues the expansion:
expand(open->first, goalState, open, closed);
Strangely, the open list prints out correctly before generateOptions() returns to expand(), and the closed list prints out correctly after generateOptions() returns to expand(). But when I try to print the open list in expand(), I'm instead given the closed list. Like I said at the outset, it appears that only one list exists at a time!
I am trying to write a function that will count the number of distinct values in an array of N size and return that number. For example array a[n] = {1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 1}. My code won't look exactly like this because I am using an array that can be modified by user input. it is part of a bigger program that will also has a function for finding the Equilibrium Index for that same array. This is what my Code looks like:

This function works but the problem is it returns 16, or the number of times that the number being compared does not equal the one it is being compared to. how do I get it to only return the number of distinct values? The data set mentioned above is what I am using for input data so it should only have 3 values.
I want some simple code which will return only the DriveInfo from one drive. I have the below code but it isn't displaying what I expect it to display, I have a feeling i'm using Linq wrong!

Not sure but the values for middle name could be null - because not everyone has a middle name and the same is true for e-mail.
I'm trying to calculate the number of distinct values entered into an array. If i enter the followings "3,4,5,6,7,7,6,e (anything that's not a number)" . I get a total of 7 but in reality it should be a 5.

I am getting a excel sheet in datatable with some column "Program,Response,T,Timein".There is 3 condition for filtering datatable.

The main question how to fully traverse/circumvent through all TreeView, for transforming Tree structure into a Table structure.
I want to note that the TreeView may contain a different number of branches, with different depths and different names.
I found a lot of information how to populate TreeView e.g. from DataTable, but I didn't found information how to recursively traverse/circumvent a TreeView and populate/fill data e.g. to DataTable.

For some reason I am having problems doing this simple task. I just want to run a query in Access to select a field from the table that is "like" the string being inputted.
However, the dataset comes back empty...well not empty, I get a column name but no data. So when I type in
ds.Tables[0].Columns[0].ColumnName
I get the column name coming from the database ("ParcelNumber"). When I run the query inside Access I receive the desired information. But when I try to check for the info in code

I get "There is no row at position 0".

I basically have a listbox that has postcode areas i.e : AE,CW,GU etc etc.
The user selects this and then a postback occurs - an sql statement is builts and a database query operation is performed and the results are returned to a datatable called tempdata.
So far so good. I then need to loop through this datatable and copy the records to my main viewstate datatable which is the datasource for google maps api.

So my main datatable can grow and grow as users add more postcodes. However when it gets to around 500 rows or so I get a huge memory spike only on postback and then it settles back down.
My ram usage goes from 2gb to 3gb and if even more postcodes is selected it maxes the memory and crashes my pc.
If I remove the:
dtpc.Importrow(row);
the memory spike goes completely, obviously because the main datatable has no rows. I thought you only run into memory issues when you have thousands of rows?

I have a C# WPF program that takes a SQL query and populates a column from an Oracle database into a listbox on the form. I would like to be able to compare all items populated in the listbox, and run a SQL query for each item, populating those values into a different listbox.

I would like to be able to basically take the "Responsibility_Name" value from the first listbox (lstResponsibilities), which is already populated, and use those values to in the "sql2" query to find the "Function_Name" and populate "Function_Name" in the second listbox (lstFunctions).

As you can see I will have the Name and total right next to eachother.. Problem is I dont want to make a million MySQLCommands for each ID.. Is there a Way I can list all data in each label?
For instance the Select from Text will show all the text from each different ID and the Select from STOCK-USED as total will show all the total for each ID
Instead of having to list them individually.
Even if I leave it to this
"Select text FROM `parts`";
It selects the 2nd ID in my database and displays its text.. Forgets about the first one completely ...
I have table called leavetable where in i have the fields eid, lfrom,lto, reason,status an employee will insert these fields in the leave form except status, status will be updated by admin but there is no unique field in the table so when the admin updates the status as cancel for an id emp001 so whereever this id is present in the table its getting updated to cancel even though it is approved previously.. How to avoid this duplication ?
