i write this program and every things work correct except when i want to add data of file to the link list .when i add the data to the link list by add_to_linked_list() every things work correct but when i use read_linked_list_from_file() it doesn't work

In the program I'm writing, I'm creating a linked list of students with individual data read from a file. At the moment, I have written two functions to accomplish this; one that creates a student node and fills it from a line file, and a second that calls on the first to create a linked list. It seems to work fine except for one thing; It seems that EOF is being reached first, but the function continues on anyways? Here is my code so far...

I created a dataset that contains an empty dataTable that has several columns , and then I created a new report that is linked to this datatable using the report wizard. In my form there is a button when clicked should fill the datatable mentioned above ( I checked if it is being filled by displaying its content in a dataGridView and by firing a messagebox that is triggered when 'datatable.rows.count > 0' ).
The reason that the datatable is initially empty is that it depends on some conditions that may alter the query used to fill it.
But finally when I load the form that has the report viewer it only has the names of the columns of the datatable and no contents. What's wrong ?

You need to write a permute class that will take first and second strings to rearrange letters in first, followed by second. For example, if the first is “CAT” string and second is “MAN” string, then the program would print the strings TACMAN, ATCMAN, CTAMAN, TCAMAN, ACTMAN, and CATMAN. The first and second strings can be any length of string or a null.
The permute class uses a Note class as link list note to link all letters arrangement. The permute class has Note pointers, firstNote and lastNote, to point to the beginning and ending Notes of the link list as private data members. There are three other private data members (total, firstString and secondString) to store the total possible number of arrangements and strings pass into the class.
Write a driver to test the permute class to pass in any two strings of any sizes.
Other than mention in the following, you can add more classes, functions, and private data members to this program.
Note class:The Note class needs to have two private data members and a constructor. The two private data members are data and p pointer. The data’s data type is string and p pointer is Note. The Note class constructor has two parameters, one is string and the other is Note pointer.
Permute class:The Permute class has five private data members (*firstNote, *lastNote, total, firstString and secondString). The firstNote and lastNote pointers are point to Note. The total has integer data type. The firstString and secondString have string data type.
There should have at least three public member functions, Permute, permutation and print. The Permute function is the constructor which takes strings to initialize the private data members. The permutation function does the recursive call to arrange the strings and setup the link list. The print function will print out the private data member information.
Driver file:The driver file should declare a Permute eight elements pointer array. Instantiate eight Permute object with the following eight set of data and assign the object to the pointer array. Use a repetition to call the object’s print function to print out the private data member information. If the total of the permute private data member is less than 100 then print out the permutated letters four in a row, otherwise print out 9 in a row.

I've been trying to read a .txt into a linked list in the attached code. I'm running into problems, specifically I'm getting errors on line 41 (curr->word=charTemp. I'm trying to set the word array equal to the charTemp array. I've tried strcpy with no luck .

I have a program and function i'm having an issue understanding. Here is what it's doing in the main.

So it is creating a linked list object using the MemberDO class type which has a int, string, char and double. Then it will call the readFromFile static function in the MemberDO. So this is where my problem is I have this function

}
How do I read in each individual data member from the input then create a new MemberDO object and insert the objects into the linked list specified in the second argument list?

I wanna read a txt file like this

and fill the array P[i][j] with the data.
I try to use

My function is only reading the first line of numbers even though I have the loop to keep returning to it in main(). How do I have it read from the file until it runs out of data to retrieve?

I am a member of a group still developing the Microprose European Air War game. We have the source code and permission to do this. As the code dates back to 1998 I use Visual Studio 2006.
I have written many programs in Visual basic, and have the following one to read the airbase value in the "targets.dat" file. The file has a four byte header containing the number of tatgets, and a 32 byte data block containing the data for each target.

I am doing c++ program to read coordinates from text file into double linked list. Everything seems to work perfectly but it stores only 298 items in linked list. Im not sure if my code is wrong or I missed something. On the debugger length of list is over a 1000 but like I said it print outs only 298.

I am currently working on a problem where I read a file into a 2D array, and display data. If you saw my code earlier, this is the same problem, but I am now further along.
The file (90 characters) looks like this:

The "R" resembles rainy days, the "S" resembles sunny days, and the "C" resembles cloudy days. There are 90 characters in the file. The first 30 are for the month of June, the next 30 are for the month of July, and the last 30 are for the month of August. The 31st day of the months are NOT included.
I read the data into a 3 x 30 array, where the row indicates the month (0 = June, 1 = July, 2 = August) and the column indicates the number of days in each month.
Now I need to create a function that creates a report and displays, for each month AND for the whole 3 month period:
1) The number of rainy days
2) The number of cloudy days
3) The number of sunny days
4) Which of the 3 months had the largest number of rainy days

Fill in the missing loop test condition so that we will read from the file until either end of file occurs or the array is full. I am having trouble in reading data from my text file and print it out exactly like how it looks like in the text file. The problem im having is it will not read the last y Coordinates of the point. it keep reading the second last point for y coordinates which is wrong.
my text file is
0.0 0.0
0.0 1.0
1.0 0.0(but it read until here)
0.0 0.0(suppose to read the last point which is here)

I am new to C++ and I am having an issue reading in a 2 Dimensional array from a data file. I am very close to reading it in perfectly except for one issue, the loop is ignoring the first value from the data file.

Every array location is moved up one, like the program just completely ignored the 300 at the beginning.
