I'm getting this strange problem with the webBrowser control that google can't find an answer for. When I click a button I get redirected to a page with just the letters 'e4' makes no sense to me?? is this a site problem or something to do with the webBrowser control?

I have an existing dialog, having activex control, list control, tree control checkbox, button etc.... I added one radio button and executed the program. whenever i am clicking on the radio button, the dialog hang/crash. Even simply dragging one radio button from toolbox and executing also behaving in the same way.

I am writing a GUI application with C++ Visual component Libraries and Win32API under windows OS.
As part of this app, I have to change color of the MS Windows button control depending on the external state.
I understood, Win32 will not support changing button control color directly as it will not support for this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a property sheet view with few property pages. One of this property page contains a HTML representation via a CHtmlView derived class.
Initially, the .html file is correctly rendered. The problem is that sometimes switching between properties pages sometime the html file is not redraw. The behavior appears randomly.
According to Spy++ in such situation some Windows messages are not sent by WebControl (Internet Explorer_Server layer): WM_ERASEBKGRD, WM_PAINT or WM_NCPAINT.
Approaches such Q179421 or Q183161 are not useful. My machine runs IE 10.
The windows hierarchy is: Shell Embedding -> Shell DocObject View -> Internet Explorer_Server.
Any workaround that would determine Internet Explorer_Server layer to send these messages always?

My problem is that when I move my mouse over the item it displays this darker box around the text:

This stops me from clicking it and the code from being executed.
I am developing a CFormView MFC app. When I go to click something on the menu, it takes awhile before the event happens. The project is build optimized in release mode. I have 3 additional threads and I thought they might be blocking the internal MFC framework stuff, but I use the Sleep() call in each thread to yield to the MFC main app.

So, I'm attempting to create a grid on the screen, and to do so, I've implemented a multidimensional array of Rectangles. When the program starts, I use a for loop to increase the x and y coordinates to form the grid.

My issue is trying to figure out when the user has clicked on a rectangle, and furthermore, which rectangle in the array that he/she has clicked on. As I will change the border to red when given the correct rectangle.

So I have a user control which populates each dynamically added tab page in a tab control.
I have a textbox in the user control which I would like to type in, capture the text_change event, and change the text of the label in the winform.
How do I bind a DATE column in a DataGridView Control to a DatePicker control (using C#)? I already have the DataGridView control bound to a database stored procedure which takes a DATE value as a parameter and selects joining table based on the results.

Then I decided to add a groupbox to the form because I want to add a few more components to the gbox.
I notice if I add a gbox at design time and add components onto the gbox at design time, then the components show up when I run my app.
However, if I add a gbox after my form already has compoents on it, I can't see some of my components.
How do I move an existing button onto a new gbox so it shows?
I thought this would work but it doesn't:

I am having issues with the fact the button gets disabled before it receives the message. Is their a way around this that is non hacky?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have begun switching from WinForms to WPF and I'm having a hard time understanding the new concepts. In WinForms, I had a few User Controls, custom drawn using shapes (rectangles, ellipses, etc). They had some unique properties, like "Flashing" (setting this property to True and setting the "Flash Interval" property to 500 would have resulted in the control changing its background color to white and back again, every 0.5 seconds), "Beeping", etc.
I have tried to replicate these controls in WPF/XAML and so far managed to draw the shape. However, when it came to implementing a custom property that would redraw the background color of the rectangle every interval set by user in another property, i got stuck. The property is being set, but it doesn't change the background color. Alternatively, i have tried this method, with the same results (i got it to show in the "Properties" window in Visual Studio, i can set it, it is being stored in XAML, but it doesn't affect the background.

The background is colored in DarkBlue (as defined). But if i use this line:

Nothing happens, the rectangle disappears entirely. If i add this to the above line:
FallbackValue=LightYellow
The rectangle is colored in LightYellow, meaning that the property is not accepted and the fallback value is used. Why?
I decided to code my own GUI menu. getting to another page from a button click. I have added the event handler I think (click="Button_click") then in the event handler I have added this:

Neither of these work, underlining "Response" and "Server" as an error saying "A namespace cannot directly contain members such as fields or methods."

I am working on a website so you can order online for a restaurant. I currently figured out how to get values of all checkboxes and dropdownlists but i still cannot seem to figure out radio buttons.

The problem is that, it is not possible to define an Image in public/private part of the class rotation. Image needs all arguments to be supplied even when declaring one. (Image is here [URL] And if I define that Image in the body of main() function, so how to provide access for void rotate() to change its position with the position of button simultaneously.
