C# :: CFD Program - How To Export Data Of Array Into XLS File In Different Sheets
Feb 11, 2014
I have written a CFD program that final results store at several 2D arrays. For instance, temperature of a square plate. For every point of plate i and j (i,j), I have a temperature amount. On the other hand, these temperatures change by time.
theSpace.TheCells[i, j,0].Temperature
I would like to save these data into an excel file and each sheet contains data for specific time (for example, an excel file with 50 sheets that cell number shows the coordinate of a point and the value in it is the temperature and next time step data's will be in the next sheet of current workbook )
I was thinking my code should be something like the following note, but it doesn't work:
// Implement time loop
int counter = 0;
for (int step= 1; step<= MaxSteps; step++) {
// call Excel output method
ExportData(ResultsArray,step,nx,ny);
i'm kinda new to c#, i wanna create a program which will take few data from GUI and export it into an excel file. Another thing is how to modify the data displacement in that particular excel file?
I am writing a program to display two statistic sheets for airplane races. with Acceleration being a random number 5-25. for every second it should display a stat for speed, and distance(Both planes)I am at a loss for how to call the functions separate and side by side respectively.
Now I can fatch all the excel sheet belongs to the Excel File.But How can I check "If and Only If the sheets are havin Underscore in their name(eg. student_data,teachers_data) then only the data of the sheets will populate in tha data base"
I'm having issues trying to input data from a .txt file into my array program. The whole program takes the name, # of goals and assists, adds them together to get points, and then puts in a given + or - rating. The program works except for the data input.
Also, this is an alphabetical "Unsorted" list, but is there a way to order the list based on point value and be able to display that as well as a separate "Ordered" list?
And this is the .txt file. Order is Players Name, Goals, Assists, Plus/Minus rating. The points are added when points = goals + assists (Should be in the main coding above).
I have a program that stores health information the user inputs, one person at a time. The program works perfectly with the exception of storing the data...I need to open a file and read what health data it has in it already, if any, but store the new changes, and appended data to the array of structures, to the data in memory. All of the information is only saved back in the file once the program terminates. I'm not sure how to go about doing this, so I am also not sure what to put in the function for "Save and Exit" that the user can choose in order to exit the program.
I am able to export a tabulated string to an Excel file, when I open the file in Excel it looks fine (3 rows, 3 columns). However, the formatting seems a bit dodgy as I can't then read the same file back using C#. If I open it in Excel and do a save as, then I can read it from C#.
fileWriter = new System.IO.StreamWriter(@"C:Sheet1.xls"); //
I have been playing around with .txt and .dat files lately. I only manage to load the files, but I don't seem to be able to load files using a variable.
Also modifying the data after it is imported is also currently problematic. I know how to go about the process without the need to import anything, but whenever I import the data I am having trouble modifying/ editing the ".txt" or ".dat" data.
#include <iostream> #include <fstream> using namespace std; int main() { int r = 0; int c = 0; int num[17][15] = { 0 }; [Code] ...
// Here is my code for displaying the data from the text file into a 2d array and height next to it, but I am not able to diaplay the height from 60 to 76 next to the row of the 2d array, as shown in the table below. This is my program:
Recently the health authorities have listed a new way to calculate the body mass index (BMI) of an individual. Values of 20 – 24 are classified as normal, 25-29 as overweight, and 30-34 as heavy.
The table below is a portion of a typical BMI table.
I have been playing around with property sheets/property pages and have been successful in getting them to work in a secondary dialog by calling the property sheet using DoModal().
How to get the property sheet to display on the main dialog of a dialog application.
I am using VS2008 and CMFCPropertySheet and CMFCPropertyPage.
I'm not sure why my program isn't reading data from the dat file. I'm not sure if it's because I messed up my pointers, or I'm missing something. I know we usually use Infile >> blah >> blah >> blah; to get the data from the file, but my instructor showed an example that had the struct read it for you in this format and I could just call it with pointers.
#include <iostream> #include <iomanip> #include <fstream> #include <assert.h> using namespace std; using namespace System; typedef int Integer;
I am currently writing a program that grabs information from a .dat file. When I go to debut I get this error.
Code: #include <iostream> #include <string> #include <fstream> using namespace std; // function step 1 - declare the prototypes void sort(int n); // catches an integer number from the call void swap(string *p1, string *p2); //catches the location of data in ram
Write a program that reads data from a file (use the attached data file). These data are a student name and 3 test scores. The program should calculate the average of the 3 test scores, and display the name, 3 test scores, and the average to the monitor.
Useful tips: a) Include the following header files: iostream, fstream, iomanip, and string b) The name of the data file is “datafile.txt”, you need to save the file in the same folder of the source file. c) use the manipulators (setw, setprecision, setfill, showpoint, fixed) to format the average with 1 digits after decimal point as following. d) Use character ‘ ’ for tab.
How is it possible to store the related data of a program C++ into an external file (like as .txt) and retrieve it?
I want to write c++ program that can contain data members " id and phone"
like as Code: class profile { private: int id,phone; public: void retriever() { cout<<"Enter your ID: "; cin>>id; cout<<"Your Phone number is "<< phone; }; }
avoiding formats in above class, purpose is to store data already in txt file with different id and phone numbers and it is to be retrieved by matching id number to txt file and viewing its related phone number.
And it will keep updating like this and I want to update the previous numbers I extracted with now the new numbers after the 4,5, and 6 space.
So I have to write a code to let it know when it encounters [ [ start looking for the 4,5,6 space and get those numbers and once it reaches ;... that's the end of that section so re-look for the next section of numbers after the 4,5,6 space.
The file will be a text file or matlab file that is always being updated with these sections of numbers. Can I make this a #include<nameoffile.h> or does .h not work with a file that is always being updated.
I am working on a project that uses a web service to extract a PNG image from a web server and save it on a local machine. It's done via a system call. I can get the output of the system call to a FILE but it appears to be losing data, most notably the PNG chunk names (IHDR/PLTE/IDAT/IEND, notably). (Unfortunately piping the output to an exterior file does not work through a system call.) The end result is ~6KB smaller than the file I am intending to retrieve.
This is the code I'm using (adapted from other material I found via searches here):
I'm trying to make a Quiz program based on C++'s Data File Handling capablities. I've attached the code in .txt file and I wonder why I'm getting the error identifier bScience cannot have a type qualifier?
Fairly simply BAC calculator, and I am trying to get data from a text tile, which you can see a sample of just below the code. I am attempting to store the information in an array which can be displayed with the final calculation. It compiles fine, but when I get to the part where I enter the state, I get nothing back.
I have names in a text file followed by three scores. I have tried and tried to get this to work but im totally lost. I need to take the names and store them into an array, and then take the three scores after the names and store then into a separate array. Then I need to output the information into a table like this:
name score score score name score score score name score ..... etc....
I have tried...
A loop to iterate 11 times for the 11 bowlers. each time it iterates i use getline to store the name into array[index] and then use a nested loop with myfile >> array2[index2] to store the scores. Its not working when i use a test loop to display each index in either array.
I am trying to make a function that uses an array from a data file. I idea is a user inputs a number and if it matches one in the data file they will get access. I can make a function that opens the file, but returns 0. So all the user has to do is enter 0 and they get access. None of the numbers from the file come into play. I have tried turning a string into an int but that did not work. Now trying to figure out how to pass an array in a function. Here is what I have so far:
#include <iostream> #include <fstream> #include <string> #include <stdlib.h> using namespace std; int mySequentialSearch(int array[],int size)
When I try an put the input data into an array it crashes my program. I can put it into a single string but not an array of strings... This is needed so I can bring all the data in to compare it and rearrange it.
Data format in file;
NAME5006 NAME3050 NAME3213
These are highScores for a game I am currently making. I want to rearrange them so they can be output in order on the highscore page.
I am writing a program to display values from a data file as an image. But I can only get a blue screen. Here is a small program resembling my code. what I have missed? I only changed OnDraw function.
I'm having issues reading to a 2d array from a file. When I try to read the data from my file into my matrix variable it simply doesn't read anything and leaves the variable unmodified. I've tried just reading the first piece of data in the main function and it doesn't work there either. I'm really perplexed at this point since I've never had an issue reading from a file before. Here's my relevant code:
Code: int main(int argc, char** argv) { double matrix[MINSIZE][MINSIZE]={0}, vectors[MAXSIZE][MINSIZE], ans[MAXSIZE][MINSIZE]; FILE * inFile; inFile = fopen(FILENAME,"r"); if(inFile==NULL){ printf("File does not exist.
Heres what I am suppose to do, So it doesnt seem hard to understand my messy code!
1. Gotta load the file "FactoryData.txt" 2. Load all values in my 2D array (array[5][3]) 3. Print out the array to ensure that the copying went by well.
Heres my problem:
1. The for loops is REALLY off in my eyes. From my knowledge (correct me if im wrong), its suppose to be for(r=0;r<5;r++) not <=. BUT somehow im getting the results I want (in terms of formatting). HERE IS MY OUTPUT
