I'm trying to write a program which prints a table of ASCII chars, I'm not really done with my thoughts on it but I already

I'm writing a school assignment that writes/reads user input into and out of a binary file.
I've gotten the write part to work, but now I need to be able to read that file back in and display it as a string.
I think I should be using fread() and read my file into an array of int's right? But when I try printing out that array I get a whole bunch of numbers that don't match the hex code in my file.
How do I read in a binary file and print it out as a string?
I have a C program where I rapprendentare a table using a 10x10 matrix and create the chart with the game piece and the matrix in a spiral. I do not know how to start or even how to create the table with the ascii codes. is a task for school and I need to do it soon.
1) Write a program that asks the user for a a single character and two XY coordinates. The two X and two Y values should all be integers between 0 and 50. The character should be a printable ASCII character with values between and including ' !' (ascii value 33) and '~' (ascii value 126).
2) Your program should then draw a rectangle made up of the user selected character where the upper left corner is at X1; Y 1 and the lower right corner is at X2; Y2. Be sure to print the appropriate number of blank lines (having spaces in the blank rows is OK) in the beginning and pad each row of your rectangle with X1 leading spaces.
The Output is supposed to be similar to this:
(X1,Y1) = (0,0) , (X2,Y2) = (4,4), the character = ^

What I am having trouble understanding is printing between certain ASCII values (ASCII has never been discussed in class).
Another thing I am having trouble with is the main part of the assignment. From what we are currently discussing is loops and the assignment is covering nested loops. My code looks similar to this: Code:

My thinking on the assignment is that you want the X1 coordinate to increase to the value of X2 (same for Y1 and Y2). Is this thinking wrong?
I would like to print a multiplication table, with the dimension n given as input. I attached how the table looks like for n=7.
How do you output the character "-" in that sequence? The first and last numbers have 13 "-" characters before and after them, but the numbers in between have 8 "-" characters.
I've been messing around with loops/functions and basic logic and come up with a small maths program. Here it is:

Would initializing the string 'anotherGo' to a value that makes the loop run at least once be a suitable way of doing this rather than using a do/while loop? I read that a do/while loop is a black sheep but I have come across a number of uses for it. Maybe it is just preference which one you should/could use?
In C how can I initialize a variable that is not a letter or number? For example with a number I can :

I need to initialize a pointer variable with a knowing address. See code below, ptr is the final destination and value of ptr_address contains the address value, so I need to do something like ptr = *ptr_address.

I have an application in C sharp that searches for a record in a sql database using a datetimepicker,the output is displayed in a datagridview.When I execute it I got a blank datagridview with empty columns.I can not view the content and I don't get any error message.

I am having trouble getting the cout statements that I commented out to work properly. And I can't figure out why the first movie in the movies.txt file displays at the end of the list in my output screen when it should only display once as the first item. I am also having trouble figuring out where and how to set up the static variable.
Purpose : This assignment requires that you to develop a program using the classes listed above. Specifically you will build a hash table containing movie data. The collision strategy will be to build linked lists as the array elements.
Program Specifications : Your program will read the data from the file named Movies.txt located in the StudentFiles1.zip file on the Connections Portal. Each record contains 2 fields separated by a space. They are:

Your application program will read each record, create a Movie structure instance and place that structure instance into the hash table.

Make the array size a constant and set it to 10.

I am having an issue with my sort function. This is one part of the Hash table program. The main issue is that I am trying to sort the pointer table after all of the values have been entered. The ptr_sort function is not a class function and so I am therefore unable to use the class variables psize and pTable. Is there another way I should be trying this? it is a Vector should I use the sort() function from the vector class in STL?
If a user enters a string of boolean algebra it will ouput the table.
I have input parsing, cycling through the combinations, and outputing working. However once i parse the input I am not sure what to do with it. I have thought of having it write the parsed input to a new file as a function and then use that function, but that seems bad.
How to dynamically create the function, how to implement it.
BTW This is a console function, if that changes anything.

Currently, my code only checks for existing rows in the booking table and updates the plot table. However if the row gets deleted in the booking, then the changes are not reflected in the plot table.
Example: If we delete the row with plot.id=1 and plot.plot_id=4, then booking.plot_id should go back to being 0, if it was initially 1. At the moment, it doesn't. How would I update my SQL statement to better reflect this? In a sense, it should check for "non-existent" rows, i.e. the impact that the row plot.plot_id=4 & plot.id=1 has on booking.plot_id when deleted?

I'm working on a homework project, and it requires me to read in a file of chars into an array, and then do stuff with that array.
Anyways, I have the first part written, where I'm just trying to read in my data.txt file, and I thought I had it written well. It compiles, but then it seg faults, and I'm not sure why. I used calloc for the array, but maybe I misused it? Or is it in my EOF statement? I'm still not sure if that's coded correctly. I need to get past this so I can start testing the other parts of my code.
