If I’m trying to define an optional one to many relationship I need to reference the primary key of the table
e.g
modelBuilder.Entity<TCC_ArchivedIntegrationExceptions>()
.HasRequired(t => t.TCC_TransactionHistory)
.WithOptional(t => t.TCC_ArchivedIntegrationExceptions);
Where TCC_ArchivedIntegrationException is the optional key.. but those models are inheriting their key from a base entity
So do I have to create the key explicitly in the model or is there another way around this?

I'm trying to make an application for ELM327 trouble code scanning device for my own educational purpose. Most of my app code is done. however, I am stuck at one point. And I need finding relationship between two hex strings.
I have logged some communication between ECU and a chinese code scanning device for carrying out car's fuel pressure test. However there is one message (that is sent from the user side) that keeps on changing each time which is dependent upon the last message received from the ECU which is also varying every time.
Code:
RECEIVED (07E8) SEND (07E0)
05 67 03 0C 17 6A 00 00 05 27 04 8F 45 37 00 00
05 67 03 0C DB 68 00 00 05 27 04 B0 70 6B 00 00
05 67 03 10 3B 87 00 00 05 27 04 3B BC 10 00 00
[code]....
as it can be seen 3 bytes are always changing with each test, both, in the message received from the ECU, and the one sent back to the ECU from the diagnostic scanner. Trying to figure out relationship between these two strings?
P.S: about 16 million combinations for 3 byte data are possible... there must be some link between them...

I want to make a program to print the product of even numbers between 1 and 30 and sum of odd numbers between 1 and 30. But the answer of product is negative. The photo shows the output of the code.
#include <stdio.h>
#include <conio.h>
void main ()
{
int i, even_product=1, odd_sum=0;
for(i=1;i<=30;i++) // For loop starts here!

How do I error check if the user is inputting letters and not numbers? For example, if the user inputs "Lab.txt" I need to display an error message. If they input "Lab2part2.txt" then this is correct and what I want.
I've found a lot of information online on how to error check for numbers or a single letter (EX: 1,2,3, etc. or 'A' 'B' 'C') but nothing for actual WORDS or maybe I should refer to it as a string of characters?
Is there any way to do this? Because my program requires I ask the user to input the name of the file. But the way my code is currently set up is even when the user inputs the wrong file name it still opens the file. I want to prevent this from happening so my thought was to error check user input.
/*Program to determine company's weekly payroll*/
#include <iostream>
#include <string>
#include <fstream>
using namespace std;
void OpenTheFile() {
ifstream inputFile;
string filename;
char letter;
int number;
[Code] .....

I'm currently writing a chunk of code that will take inputs from the user and push them into a vector until 0 is entered, at which point it will break the loop and continue on with the rest of the program. This is nothing I haven't done before, but I have never encountered this error.
The code chunk looks like this:
typedef vector <int> ivec;
int main() {
ivec nums;
int input;
while (true) {
cout << "Enter a positive integer, or 0 to quit" << endl;
[Code] ....
My standard testing input has been 3 5 6 3 8 (then 0 to quit), so one would expect my sequence to be 3 5 6 3 8...but instead after the 8 I get a random number value that is usually quite large and I cannot figure out where it comes from (ex. 3 5 6 3 8 201338847).

'm trying to program a BMI calculator in C for my assignment where the weight must be in KG and an int , and the height must be in m and a double value. The program should allow the user to input his weight(kg) and height(m) separated by a space and be able to calculate and display the BMI. My code is shown below :
#include<stdio.h>
int
main(void) {
int weight;
double height,bmi;
bmi = weight / ( height * height ) ;
scanf("%d%lf" , &weight , &height );
printf("BMI = %f", bmi);
return 0;
}
However , after running the program , I constantly get a 1.#INF00 value for my result.The compiler did not show any errors so why I'm getting this value.I input my weight and height in this format "45 1.65" 45 being the weight and 1.65 being the height.

Back again with a random bug that I can't seem to track down. My error is in my main.cpp file. I get a C2248 error on line 54, there I'm doing:
t.makeEmpty(t.root)
I know why, because it's a private member...but it should have access in so far as everything is concerned. I double checked my makeEmpty code and it's good to go so far as I can tell. I can't quite iron out where the disconnect is.

I've almost finished a Terminal/Command Prompt Program that can do most of the things a Microsoft or Linux Terminal can do - but I have a problem. I've got it to open programs fine, and I can also open their browser to the download page if they don't have it, but I need my program to know if there isn't the software so a bit like command prompt where it says 'The system cannot find the file test.txt.' and then it'll take them to the website if they like.

I'm working on a payroll program and I'm having problems that are causing calculation errors.
My input file is
1234FredJones4025.00
2345 TerrySmith6010.00
The errors I get are from the regular pay, over time pay, gross pay, tax amount and net pay calculations. They all look similar to this (6e+002). I believe they are occurring because regular pay isn't calculating correctly and the rest depend on that for their calculations. However, I can't see why regular pay isn't calculating correctly.
#include <fstream>
#include <iostream>
#include <iomanip>
using namespace std;
class payroll{

I have made a Biginteger class that performs multiplication operation according to Karatsuba's algorithm. But it seems that the code is not working perfectly.In the class I have made a function named karatsuba(BigInteger a1, BigInteger b1)that performs the Multilplication operation. There might be problems in this function as I have tried to store the original digits(neglecting the leading zeros) of the two big integer values into two integers or there might be problems in somewhere else. corrected version of this function? My code is given below:
#include <stdio.h>

is there anyway to have a program where it ask for three numbers and you shows which which number is the largest and which is the smallest, e.g.
Enter 1st number: 30
Enter 2nd number: 10
Enter 3rd number: 30
Largest = 30
Smallest = 10

I am using visual studio 2012 on windows 7. but, when I have compiled my programs and run them on an older pc to test out its functions, I receive an error saying that the program is not a "valid win32 application." I have even tested this with a very simple hello world console application, but the problem still remains. Where is the error coming from? is the application corrupted during transport? (upload to internet) or are programs compiled on win 7 incompatible with win xp

I am trying to build a program that takes a user password (6+ characters, One uppercase, one lower case, and one number), and checks for errors. The idea is that if the user is doing something wrong (say, forgetting to use an uppercase letter), the program will tell them what the error is, and prompt them to enter the program again.
I get through the building process without errors, but whenever I run the program, I get this error: [URL] ....
Here is my code:
#include <iostream>
#include <cctype>
using namespace std;
bool checkPass(char [], int); //Password Checking Function
char convert(string);
[Code] ....
According to the box, the error appears on line 56 and 68.
