Visual C++ :: Implementing Real Time Graph To Application?
Nov 15, 2013
I was assigned a project to implement a real time graph to an application which continuously outputs data numerically through the GUI. The application that was created to do this is written in C.
I have to turn those numerical numbers into a graphical display that is periodically updated to appear as real time.
My adviser suggested using NTgraph [URL] ...... I had no clue how to implement this to my code and was finally able to understand that the .OCX needs to be registered as a COM and then imported to the application using visual studios. However, I get an error when I try importing it since it is in C (Visual Studios 8) and not an MFC application.
So my question is if it would be possible to implement the ActiveX control to my application even though it is not an MFC application and how to go about it.
I want to develop a interactive and animated real-time offline map application. For example if user puts mouse on the map, it should the latitude, longitude and name of the location.
There should be animation for example blinking of a location. And it should work offline without internet. I want to use google maps data but I don't know how.
I know following languages: C/C++ (Advanced level) PHP (intermediate level) Java ( beginner level)
Any application or open source software (vc++ or vb.net or c#.net) that can display a high resolution map and i can input real time latitude and longitude of points through an external file and those points can be displayed on map in real time..... I am all new to this plotting on map stuff....
It is supposed to calculate and graph time vs. distance. The problem I have is graphing, if I put too small values for Vi, which is the initial velocity, it just graphs one or two points, because t is too small. I already tried to adjust t with 'if(t<10) t=t*10; if (t>100) t=t/10;', But it seems not to solve my problem.
Other truble I have is that, as the graph is parabola, core values are very close together, and when plotted, these values are in the same line on the screen.
Here is my code: #include<stdio.h> #include<conio.h> #include<math.h> void main() { float x, y, hmax, t, amax, vi, v, a, b, g, ang; /*x= x coordinate, y= y coordinate, hmax= maximum height,
using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Linq; using System.Security; using System.Security.Principal; using System.Text; using System.Threading; namespace WindowsPrincipalTrial { public class Program
I have this piece of code from the book "Modern C++ Design" that checks for compile-time error. When i tried to compile it, i get the error "invalid application of size of to function type". How to make this compiler-time checker work?
i have this Stealth Injector source from internet so this program is for injecting .dll to an .exe this program was made by someone to used for cheating in online game but i need to use this program in my private server game online to tell the game client .exe the server IP, that is stored in a dll file.. the problem is i don't want the player to directly execute this program, but they need to run the game patcher first to do the patch.. so i need to put some secret parameter argument that will block player from direct execute..
i know nothing about c++ i only know that you need to use main(int argc, char *argv[]) i've try to put something like this
Code: int main(int argc, char* argv[]){ stringstream sparam; string param;
[Code].....
the code works fine but the rest of code won't executed..
i've attached the cpp and header files for you guys to check source.rar
We're designing a new software and we want it to be customizable without code. That, for us, mean we can change the software behaviour without re-writing code. All will be developed using C and .NET.
One of our goals is to have what we are calling "dynamic tables". This means that these database tables may have different fields depending on the customization. We got to know it using high-level ERPs like SAP or CRM's system like VTIGER or even SalesForce. Let me give an example:
CUSTOMER TABLE:
FIELDS: ID, NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE.
This would be the standard Customer Table.
Now, a new customer needs to add FINANCE SCORE and RANKING to the database. We them would like to go to our application (not the database itself) and adding these new fields. After that, all of my input forms and reports would start to show and process these new fields.
I'm am having a few issues with this program, they stem from passing the color.h and .cpp into another .h and .cpp, and frankly getting how those two things really fit together.
For this problem, you will design and implement 2 classes and then write a driver function to test these classes. The first will be a C++ class for an abstract data type color with a public enumeration type colorType that has the color values shown in Listing 10.8. Your abstract data type should have an attribute for storing a single value of type colortype and member functions for reading (readColor) and writing (writeColor) a color value as well as setting and accessing it. The function readColor should read a color as a string and store the corresponding color value in the value attribute of a type color object. The function writeColor should display as a string the value stored in the value attribute of a type color object (see Figure 7.5). Modify class circle and the driver function in Listing 10.9 to include and use this class. You'll need to remove the declaration for color in class circle. Test your modified driver function with the new color and circle classes.
The second class will be to design and implement a rectangle class similar to class circle. Be sure to incorporate the new color class you have written and tested in the first part of the programming exercise. Write a client program that asks the user to enter a shape name (circle or rectangle) and then asks the user for the necessary data for an object of that class. The program should create the object and display all its attributes.
The circle class .h and .cpp files as well as the original driver function will be supplied. You are to provide the .h and .cpp files for the new color class and the modified driver function as well as the .h and .cpp files for the rectangle class and the client program that uses all three classes.
color.h
Code:
//color.h //Color class definition #include "stdafx.h" #ifndef COLOR_H
I am unable to implement the insert function properly,every time i run the program i just get the first value and name,i am not getting other Id's and name.
Code: "(Header File)" #include <iostream> #include <string> using namespace std; class node { public: int ID; node (string StudentName, int IDNumber) {
I have a question about to run an MFC dialog based C++ application from console: if I run my application from console, I see the application start and the console immediately back to prompt. I need that console wait the application exit before show me the prompt again. I tried on Visual Studio 6, 2005 and 2010 but the behavior is the same.
I passed the CStringArray to dll & wrote the String in a file.
The error File: array_s.cpp, Line No: 420 was occured when i close the .exe file.
For your reference:
Code: Function Declaration in DLL : DECLDIR void SetParName(CStringArray& ParName); Function Definition in DLL : DECLDIR void SetParName(CStringArray& ParName){
ParName.Add("X1"); ParName.Add("X2");
[Vode] .....
My doubt is, CStringArray items are allocated in the DLL. So, when i release the CStringArray object in the application. Is it can release memory that are allocated in the DLL ?
I have a SDI application. I created a method OnClose to handle ON_WM_CLOSE of CMainFrm. This onclose() function calls a method in cmyview.cpp. Here, I created a thread that calls global function and from this function it calls another function in cmyview.cpp. At certain condition my application should close at here, I used postmessgae(WM_CLOSE (or) WM_DESTROY). I am having an error as object reference not set on postmessage(WM_CLOSE) it is going to afxwin2.inl page where exception occurs.
Below is code snippetHere, either j or k will only be true depneds on user input)
I have a Win32 C++ application which works pretty well, but I don't like the GUI and I want to replace it with one designed graphically, a la Windows Forms. What is the best strategy to port my code? I tried creating a new Windows Forms C++ application and got pretty far with it, but was stymied when trying to call my unmanaged functions on a button press. If I can't use Forms to add a GUI without completely rewriting the program, what's my best bet?
In a typical MFC application I use SetRegistryKey(_T("My_Company")); to set the root registry entry for my application. The MFC application however creates an entry by the name of executable where it stores all the settings of that application. I don't want that because we often change the name of executable and I want it read registry from the same set location. As example if my application name is Calculator.exe and Calculator_debug.exe it creates two different registry settings.
I am developing a MDI application that will contain a RibbonBar and a Properties Pane window. The MDI documents are not tabbed. I am finding that when I try to move the client window around, it gets clipped by the RibbonBar and the Properties Pane window (shown in image). I know the client window cannot go outside the client area, but can the client window be on top of the ribbon bar and the properties pane window?
I am new in Visual C++ and I have to make an MFC application with "child" windows. Here is what i need to achieve - [URL] ..... As you can observe when you click on the cross of popup window or child window 2 both are closing.
I'm struggling with the pan gesture in a desktop application for my Surface Pro 2.
I simply want to pan (or "swipe" if you prefer) with two fingers, but it doesn't behave like I want it to. If I put two fingers on the screen and move them straight diagonally, I receive a series of client coordinates that are aligned in a vertical or horizontal direction. Only if I perform some circular motion, then it's suddenly possible to move diagonally and receive coordinates accordingly.
I've tried with MFC, by overriding CView::OnGesturePan. I've also tried with a sample project provided by Intel, that handles the GID_PAN message in WndProc to move a rectangle around, but with the very same result. The project can be downloaded from [URL] ... fordesktop.zip, so you can quickly reproduce the behaviour if you have a touch screen.
I first thought it had to do with the points being too close to each other. I mean, if two points lies only one pixel apart, it can only result in eight different directions. But if I modify the code to only update "m_first" when the distance between the points are greater than some minimum distance, the points still keep being projected to a horizontal or vertical line relative to the first starting point.
I am a very very beginner at programming with C. Well, basically i have to generate a real number between 0 and 1 (which as the same as from 0 to 100 k and than dividing everything with 100 k).
Why I am constantly talking about 100 k? Because I would need approx 50 000 random numbers between 0 and 1. My code currently looks something like this:
Code:
int main(int argc, char** argv) { int min,max; double number; srand((unsigned)time(NULL)); number = 1 + rand()%100; printf("The number is: %lf",number); sleep(2); return (EXIT_SUCCESS); }
And If I am not mistaken, should generate numbers between 0 and 100. But I can't figure it out how to change to code in order to get enough numbers.
