Visual C++ :: Calling ATL COM DLL Method (that Opens A Dialog) From Browser?

I have a COM Object created using ATL (without MFC Support)
The Object has 1 method that opens a Dialog (that does all the rest) and when finish - returns 2 values back (1 is enough)
Currently I call it from another EXE:
hr = CoCreateInstance(
CLSID_MyControl,
NULL,
CLSCTX_INPROC_SERVER,
IID_IMyControl,
(void**) &pMyControl
);
and then:
hr = pMyControl->MyMethod (ATL::CComBSTR(InputString1), ATL::CComBSTR(InputString2), &IntReturned, &IntReturned);
Is it possible to call it as is from a browser ?
How can I Instantiate the object and invoke my method (with params) from the browser ?
will it open the dialog ?

Allow users to enter their name and favorite saying in a single method that gets invoked two times. If I can only return one value at a time, how am I suppose to get name and favorite saying out of UserInput()?

Im trying to create a map container with the key being an ID number and the value being a pointer to a class object. Currently Im creating objects and storing their address in the container. I am getting a runtime error when calling the virtual method with this pointer. I believe that the problem is being called because they aren't being called pointer/reference. let me know if you need more.

I'm still working on my process API, as in my previous posts. Right now I'm trying get my class portable so I can use it for any language/compiler by using a factory design pattern. I'm having problems figuring out how to call the methods properly from my interface pointer in my factory class without causing a segmentation fault.

I would like to avoid throwing things in constructors as much as possible.
Is this good design to have a static class method that checks arguments the caller will give to the constructor. The documentation of the class will say, thou shall call this method to validate thine arguments before calling the constructor, or else segfault may befall thoust.

everything is work fine except the fact the it seems that it create an IE version 7.0 and my machine have IE 8 installed.
it not suppose to create the IE according to my installed version?how do i suppose to do it?

there is a way to iterate through the controls on a webpage. For instance, I tried EnumChildWindows using the parent window of the browser, but I haven't had any luck - it returns nothing. s where I can start researching how to find the child controls?
I'm using Visual Studio 2010, programming in C++.

I create an IWebBrowser2* object and attached it to new window.
I create also a simple html page containing JScript alert(JSON) command.
when i load the page from IE the page works fine.but when i load the page from my object i get JSON undefined.
do i need to set my object with some setting?

Now i want to call/display this dialog inside a web browser like IE.

I have an C++ application which uses Microsoft Web browser ActiveX control to launch any URL within the application. The browser is embedded in C++ form and It's working fine with all the feature Microsoft has exposed through Interface(IID_IWebBrowser2).But while any url that is using session cookie has been launched, even after closing the browser the session cookies are not getting deleted. For example if user login info is stored as session cookies,the url is using the cookies and getting launched without asking for user log in info.
But if I close the browser, and again relaunch , the cookies should be deleted and the url will not find the cookies to be used for log in . That is not happening here. Although this is session cookies , it's not getting deleted and being used by embedded browser. However, if the url is launched in IE, it is behaving as expected.
So, Do I need to delete the cookies explicitly? If Yes, How to do that?

I have a program which when a button is clicked on Form1 it runs a vision system operation on an image in a window on a Form1. There are also other buttons on the Form1 which can change things like threshold levels so the inspection can be run again with different settings. It all works fine but I want to change it to remove the buttons from Form1 so that when the user clicks on a button on Form1 it opens up another form, Form2, and all the buttons which were on Form1 are now on Form2 and the image analysis should run on Form1 when the buttons are used on Form2. I have taken over all the code from Form1 to Form2 and I'm trying to make this happen by creating a new oject on Form1 which calls a method on Form2 which contains the code which was in Form1 and called when the button was clicked on Form1 - not working!! I have a constructor in Form2 but I think I have become monumentally confused.
This was the code which was on Form1 when the inspection button was clicked.

I've created a modeless dialog from my main dialog as follows:

This container dialog creates a child dialog which I show inside the container

What I want is simple: I want to catch a dialog box!
The dialog box pops very frequently in a website. We have to put a username and password and press OK. I checked with spy++. It doesn't have any child windows. So catching the dialog box with windows API is ruled out. It must be a HTML dialog. I have to get DOM COM interfaces of the dialog.
Another option may be to make an add-on to get the interface to IWebBrowser2 and get the events fired. The title of the dialog box is "Authentication Required". If the events will be fired for that dialog box, I can check the title using IHTMLDocument2::get_Title.But will the events be fired for HTML dialog box? How to catch that desturbing dialog box.

For a project I'm working on, I need to be able to download a file from an FTP server and store it to a predetermined location with a predetermined name. No user interaction should be needed. Because the file is rather large, and I need the main program to remain responsive, this is going to need a progress dialog.
I could write all this myself and use the MFC wininet wrappers (CInternetSession et al) to do the downloading, but... Explorer already has this, and IE has such a dialog also. It doesn't seem unreasonable to assume those dialogs are available via some API.
Is a "FTP download with dialog" available as a windows API, or do I really need to write all this myself ?

I have an mfc dialog of size 1280 X 1024 and when i change the resolution to 800 X 600, after adding scroll bar, it don't show the entire dialog contents, Seems like it clips the 800 X 600 portion.
I have handled VScroll and HScroll. It works fine for higher resolutions!

Is there a way that we can position the menu bar? For example,place it on the side or anywhere on the dialog box?

I have a ListCtrl on my dailog. It has a report view. In my case I have selected first row with left click of mouse and entire row is displayed in blue color as selection (as per expected) and when I right click the second row of the listctrl it displays the menu which I have added to it and the selection remains with the first row.(as expected). I have already overridden the ListCtrl class.
I want that on the right click of second row the selection should remain with the first row but this second row also should be displayed with dotted line border.

i open child dialog from a dialog( which is launched from a toolbar of a window) after editing i close the child dialog, after closing child dialog shadow is retained on window but not on the parent dialog. Later when i close the parent dialog the child dialog shadow disappears. (issue exist only when i edit in child dialog)
