Don't worry about the exp and complex numbers because they work correctly. N is the number of samples of the input (2500). Esc is the difference between different frequences. So the samples of the output are (1250).
I'm taking a C++ computer science course right now, and one of the questions on my latest assignment is this:

I've been struggling with this problem for a couple days now, and how to do it. I understand I need a recursive function to grab variables, and probably an array or vector to store them, but where to begin.
I've been reading documents on partition generating and the concept still eludes me, and any other questions on here or other programming sites using partitions don't seem to have a constraint on them.

I have been trying to write a recursive function to print the permutations of a n-digit number. This is the logic that i am trying to use.
1.call the permutation function,
2.keep the first digit in the first place and send the remaining 2 digits back to the permutation function recursively.
3.keep one of the two digits received and send the remaining digit to the permute function.
4. keep doing this till only one digit remains. this is the smallest solution so return it.

How to fix 'Segmentation Fault (Core Dumped)'?
I'm writing a program to display a histogram of 1000 Gaussian distributed numbers. I've generated the numbers using rand and now need to transform them. I have found the following formula to use
f(x) = exp(-x^2 / (2*sigma^2)) / sqrt(2*pi*sigma)
And I am unsure how to implement this into a function.
I want to create a vertical histogram in my code. I already made it go vertical but not the way I want it.
Example:
I want it like this:
Range1 Range2 Range3 Range4
And asterisks under each one, depending on the user input. (My code is below and doing it on here doesn't make it come out correctly)
But what I've managed to do is this:

Which I don't want. I want everything else to stay pretty much the same since I can only use some features such as Arrays and really basic functions.
