I have to check whether or not a record exists in a join and if not ignore that user but still load all the other information for that user

I have a dynamic storage class based on a vector. The elements of this class shall be addressable via a string.
I have something like the following:
StorageClass* test = new StorageClass();
while(notEnd) {
test->setValue("name3", 3);
test->setValue("name2", 4);

The Storage class is implement with a vector having to attributes per entry, the first one is name the second one is value. If the setValue function is called, Igo through the whole vector to find the correct item via the name and than i set the new value.
At the end of the loop i want to write out the data into a comma separated value file (*.csv). This shall be done generic by the writeLineToFile() function of the StorageClass.
As a want the columns in csv file to be sorted in a specific way a thought about a preInitalisation routine at the beginning of the program which builds a the vector with all possible entries as something like this in order to define a specific output order.
test->assign("name1");
test->assign("name2");
test->assign("name3");
So my outputfile should look like this:
name1;name2;name3;
5;4;3;
I now have 2 places in the code where i write down the "fieldnames".
I was wondering if there is a possibility to check if the fields called by the setValue function were first aranged in the vector by the assigned() function before or bettwer while compiling the programm.
I thought about MAKROS with #define XYZ and #ifndef XYZ #error to do though, but currently i reached a dead end and find no solution for my problem.

I have this table Profile which has fields with user_Id and regNo and I want to check first if id and email are already exists before proceed to inserting datas. In my codes, I am able to validate only one row (either id or reg number), but if I am going to validate the two of them, it gives me an error, saying "Must declare the scalar variable @userid". I dont know if it is with my select that is wrong or something in my codes

How to validate if the item you want to add in the cart is already exists in listView items? for example I already add CH001 which is the productId of Chocolate strawberry, then I accidentally add again that product Id and I what I want is that it should not be accepted on my listview again because CH001 is already on my cart.

I am trying to emulate callback mechanism in C. The code I have is follows:

If I do a pthread_join in fopen_t() it works perfectly fine. But if I do that in main() I get a segmentation fault error. I want to call it in main() because I want it to be non-blocking, is there any solution?

I am puzzled with the strange behavior of my code below. The code has an apparent error but the results are correct. I am trying to put two arrays (chara and shuffled) into a third array join. The first 10 elements of 'join' should have the elements of 'chara' and the second half should have the elements of 'shuffled'.
You will note that in the second For loop, I am using 'chara' instead of 'shuffled' but when I print the contents of 'join' I am getting the correct numbers.
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,
On the other hand if I replace 'chara' with 'shuffled' in the second For loop, I am getting incorrect results.

i have to create a console based application in c language that can join and split bitmap images. the requirements of the application are as follows :

2. Join Images (all images should be of same width and height)

Take care of following things:
- Application should show number of images processed while running.
- Acceptable Image format is BMP only.

My assignment for class was to create a Student ADT. I have three files. First one is Student.h which defines a Student record and has the prototypes of the functions that can be used with Student. I have Student.cc which is where the functions are actually declared. And my final file is testStudent.cc where the "main" function is that is creating a Student and callign all of the functions to make sure they work properly.
I have all of the functions working properly, except for my destroyStudentRecord function. It is supposed to deallocate the record, but I am unsure of how to actually do this. The current implementation appears to only deallocate the firstName field, as when you display the record after deallocationg it, everything still shows up except the first name. I have tried deallocating each field of the record before deallocating the record itself and that gave me the biggest list of errors I have ever seen.
I realize the implementation of some things in here might be a bit odd, but this is exactly how we are required to do things for this assignment and nothing about the implementation can really be changed unless something is actually just plain wrong(which is of course a possibility as I am quite new to this!). As I said though, everything else is working exactly as it should be, so my only issue at all is with actually deleting the record once I have created one.

I'm working on a program using class booktype... to hold information about various books that I have saved on a txt file. Each object of the class book type holds the author, publisher, ISBN, number of copies in stock.
I am still very much new at c++ and not exactly sure how to get in info from the file I've made earlier..

I am able to add records and show records, no problem. But when I go to delete a record, it crashes immediately after inputting the record number I want to delete. I don't see why. I've set it up exactly like the example in my book, having of course changed the variable names for my program. Does it have something to do with the pointer?

I am working on my final project for my intro to c++. Its a simple program where you buy a car, choose parts for it, see the price of it in total, buying option, and to view past records.
So my problem lies with displaying the records. For some reason(doesn't many how many records there are) the very last record displays again without the "Model" part, but displays the rest of them fine. In other words, there are 2 problems, the last record is displayed twice, 2nd that added record displayed is missing the "model"(this problem doesn't matter really if you can solve the first problem, but would still like to know why it does that).
I tried debugging it and I believe the problem lies with the --------while(fName.good()). It just decides to repeat it again even though in the text file, it does not have that extra record.

In my project i need to update the attn_dateTimeOut in database.After i updated it will automatic delete the specific row record that had been updated. I had two question:
1) in my database there are a few table is assign not null."attn_dateTimeOut" is a table that haven insert any record. When i update it using below code,it work and can update but it comes out error.Error show "record cannot be null".
2) I want t make it when i updated the "attn_dateTimeOut",it will auto delete the row of updated record.I do usign back code "DeleteRecord" but it nothing change!How should i do?

Below is a snippet of my code in which it loops through a file trying to find the matching record of a selection given by the user. I use tellg() to tell me where the search begins and it does in fact start at the beginning. But when the search actually executes, it starts at the last record, loops once, and ends, as it does not find the matching record (when the user enters '24' for example)

I'm still learning intro to C language. Currently I'm having problem with my code. The task is to ask user to input information about staff and write them into a text file. The problem occur when:
1) output in text/.exe file display random characters.
2) Data obtained from New_Staff unable to pass into Export_Profile.
3) a new output will overwrite the existing information in the text/.exe file

In order to make things easier in the long run you have decided to make a c++ program that takes in all the orders for each register and tallies them at the end of the day.
Write a c++ program that does the following:
Create a Register class that can store all of the receipts for the day and the totals for that register.
This class could have the following member functions:
Contructor(int) - Creates a number of receipts based on an integer that is passed into the constructor (this is the largest number of orders that the register can take). You may also be required to create additional variables to make the program work but that's up to you to determine.
void getorder() - Asks the user how many of each item they want an stores that in the first available receipt.
void returnreceipts() - This function returns the details of all the receipts and the total for the day.
Register operator+(const Register &right)- This is an overloaded addition operator. When two objects are added together an empty temporary register is created (with 0 receipts) and only the totals of both objects are added to it. The temporary register is returned by the function.
Register operator=(const Register &right)- This overloaded assignment operator copies only the totals from the Object on the right.
In the Main function I would like:
Create 3 Register Objects. The first two registers are the ones in the store and should be initialized to take 10 orders. The third is used at closing time and can be initialized with 0 receipts as it will only take in the totals from the other registers.
Run the getorder function for registers 1 and 2 twice.
Run returnreceipts for register 1 and register2.
Reg3=Reg1+Reg2;
Run returnreceipts for register 3.
