Jul 20, 2014I need VC++ code,for copy the particular data from Notepad to another Notepad. Example, i have lots of data, i need to copy the particular content from Notepad to another Note pad.

C++ :: Find And Replace Function For Text Editor
Jan 3, 2013I'm building a find and replace function for my text editor I'm building the function without support from the algorithm header.
The function is written like: doc.find_replace("Word_to_be_replaced", "The_word_that_is_replacing"); I find this very easy to understand replace this, with this.
find_replace will both have char * as their arguments.
The problem I'm having right now if I replace a bigger word for a smaller word how do I delete the extra characters from memory.
So if I replace "Goodbye" with "Hello" how do I delete the last two characters? So I don't print garbage code.

Sep 10, 2013 I'm undertaking a project at the moment which requires me to hook into a custom c++ application from a Java applet via JNI. The c++ application needs to communicate with MS Word and potentially other office programmes in order to highlight text and offer find/replace functionality programatically. The idea is that when the applet is launched, it will communicate with the C++ methods to hook into an open MS Word document and highlight all words that start with the letter 't' for example.
I'm concentrating on the C++ side of things first . Even some basic access to an open word document would give me a great start!

Dec 19, 2013Create a notepad that allows the user to write text on the console. For this purpose, the user should be able to control and track the movement of the cursor. The user can access, add and delete any part of the text. To add or delete a text, the user can take the cursor to that location (using the arrow keys) and perform the required operation. The working of the program (i.e. the movement of the cursor, add and delete operation) must be consistent with the working of the real notepad. However, you do not have to handle word wrapping.
In addition, the user should be able to save and load the data in a text file using S and L respectively. The program will automatically save the data in file save.txt, and load the data from the same file. There is no need to ask the user for the file name. Use Q to quit the notepad. Don’t forget to implement the destructor.
Internally, the notepad is composed of two-dimensional doubly linkedlist. Its implementation is just like a doubly linked list with an additional property that it can grow in two dimensions. Since text can be written on multi lines, each row of the 2D-linkedlist represents one line. Each node contains four links which it uses to connect to node before, after, below and above it. In addition each node can store a character.

I realize the text says "these exercises suggest programs of somewhat greater complexity than the ones earlie in this chapter," but it seemed like a very straightfortward task.Have i oversimplified or something?

The problem is when any of the value on the right side of the equation is null, the whole equation is invalid. I need to replace the null values by 0 on the fly so that it can be calculated. Note that I do not want to actually replace the null values in the second and third columns of the table, just replace it in the equation whenever it applies to make the calculation work.
