In this assignment the student should develop a month calendar by designing a class called calendarType . This class uses two other classes (dateType and dayType) as described below:
1. dayType Class: This class has been designed by students in Lab1 exercises. Referee to it.
2. dateType Class: This class is designed and implemented to keep track of data. This class has been provided it to you. Study it first then add definitions and implementations of the following operations to this class:
- Test whether the year is a leap year. Leap year is identified by 3 criteria :
- The year is evenly divisible by 4;
- If the year can be evenly divided by 100, it is NOT a leap year, unless;
- The year is also evenly divisible by 400. Then it is a leap year.
- Return the number of days in the month. For example, if the date is 12/3/2014, the number of days to be returned is 31 because there are 31 days in March.
- Return the number of days passed in the year. For example, if the date is 18/3/2014 the number of days passed is 77. Note that the number of days returned also includes the current day.
- Return the number of days remaining in the year. For example, if the date is
18/3/2014 , the number of days remaining in the year is 288.
- Calculate the new date by adding a fixed number of days to the date. For example, if the date is 18/3/2014 and the days to be added are 25, the new date is 12/4/2014.
To print monthly calendar using calendarType class, you must know the first day of the month and the number of the days in that month. Thus, you must store the first day of the month, which is in the form of dayType and the month and the year of the calendar. Clearly, the month and the year can be stored as an object of the form dateType by setting the day component of the date to 1, and the month and year as specified by user.
Design the class calendarType so that the program print a calendar for any month starting 1/1/ 1500 which is Monday. To calculate the first day of a month, you can add the 2 appropriate days to Monday of January 1, 1500. For this class identify and implement the following operations:
- Determine the first day of the month for which the calendar will be printed. Call this operation firstDayOfMonth.
- set/get month.
- set/get year.
- Print calendar for particular month.
- Add the appropriate constructors to initialize the member variables.
- Write a test program to print the calendar for either a particular year or a particular month.
If a user enters a string of boolean algebra it will ouput the table.
I have input parsing, cycling through the combinations, and outputing working. However once i parse the input I am not sure what to do with it. I have thought of having it write the parsed input to a new file as a function and then use that function, but that seems bad.
How to dynamically create the function, how to implement it.
BTW This is a console function, if that changes anything.

I have a C# WPF program that takes a SQL query and populates a column from an Oracle database into a listbox on the form. I would like to be able to compare all items populated in the listbox, and run a SQL query for each item, populating those values into a different listbox.

I would like to be able to basically take the "Responsibility_Name" value from the first listbox (lstResponsibilities), which is already populated, and use those values to in the "sql2" query to find the "Function_Name" and populate "Function_Name" in the second listbox (lstFunctions).

My issue is regardless of which date I input its always defaulting to the values I have set in my constructor in my implementation file in the else statement. So the values always default to 3/15/2006 I think its something to do with the logic in my bool function but I may be incorrect.

How to get my data from the file and output, but now I am having trouble with my acceleration function. As you can see I will have the Name and total right next to eachother.. Problem is I dont want to make a million MySQLCommands for each ID.. Is there a Way I can list all data in each label?
For instance the Select from Text will show all the text from each different ID
and the Select from STOCK-USED as total will show all the total for each ID
Instead of having to list them individually.
Even if I leave it to this

It selects the 2nd ID in my database and displays its text.. Forgets about the first one completely ...
I have table called leavetable where in i have the fields eid, lfrom,lto, reason,status an employee will insert these fields in the leave form except status, status will be updated by admin but there is no unique field in the table so when the admin updates the status as cancel for an id emp001 so whereever this id is present in the table its getting updated to cancel even though it is approved previously.. How to avoid this duplication ?

I have WCF web service which contains methods for communicating with database (ms sql). For a long time I was using pure sql statements, that aren't secure. It is time to move to parameterized queries. I'm using code-engine.com source code for query builder. Example of it is here: SelectQueryBuilder: Building complex and flexible SQL queries/commands from C# . Which works OK and I have no problems when is used inside of web service.
The problem: I also have asp.net web site which uses this webservice and the main problem is, how to build queries on client side and sent them to web service? I can build query on client side and send dbCommand.commandtext but I then I don't know how to send parameters list to webservice, because it isn't serialized.
This would be used as "universal" method for sql statements. I have others method like getUser(),getUsers(),getPages() but I really need this kind of methods to pass query to it.

I am again a bit confused with bool since we have not used them much. I understand it is suppose to return a true or false value that is represented by 0 and 1. so I have these two bool's

Which i know is correct but I want to replace the 1 and 0 with my own string but the things iv tried tweaking with has not worked.
Also in the file attached has some requirements from my teacher but i was confused at the second last one, --- bool isEqual(Triangle &other) and it says return true if triangles are equal and false if triangles are not.
I dont know if this is just simply if one triangle equals another (however you determine that) or if its for the two bool's, isTriangle() and isRight() or what.

I am displaying data from an Excel Spreadsheet through an ASP.net web form using C#. I would like to run an SQL query on the data, but am having trouble figuring out how to use a string in my query.
Here is the code I am running in my .aspx.cs file. I am also using a .aspx to display the data in a GridView.

Ideally, I would like to add a WHERE clause to my string (string sSQL = "SELECT * FROM [Sheet1$A1:D14]"/> in order to query the current month and display the row of said month from the Excel Spreadsheet.
I have attempted to use a DataAdapter to insert the string into the query, but could not figure out how to conform my code to work with it.
