I am using Excel 2013, Visual Studio 2015. I began learning about Excel XLL. I wrote simple function which tests whether the argument is missing. Here's code:
Now I can fatch all the excel sheet belongs to the Excel File.But How can I check "If and Only If the sheets are havin Underscore in their name(eg. student_data,teachers_data) then only the data of the sheets will populate in tha data base"
I am trying to get each step down before proceeding to the next one for my problem. I have started my program into returning the Area and Volume of a cylinder. The return numbers I get are huge and I cannot figure out why.My header file
I have a function that returns a char*. No problem. But I need to concatenate another array with the results of this function. I'm getting a segmentation error.
Code:
//this next line outputs correctly so I know my function is working fprintf(stdout, "%s ", get_filename(selection)); char* temp;
For a Homework i need to make some kind of Minesweeper but i have one Probleme one of my functions always return teh same and i cannot fin out why here is the code:
bool setzen(int x, int y){ if(feld[x][y]!=3){ return mine=false; }
[Code]....
Thats the Part where Everything happens but the Function "bool setzen" always returns false and i dont know why.
So, I have been working my way through lines of code, and practicing quite a bit. In fact, I have done programs far more complicated than this and still I cannot get it to work.
The idea of the code is to take a number input by the user through the terminal and check if it is a prime number(It does this) If the number is not prime it takes that number and checks for N amount of primes that is put in through the console. When a prime is found it writes that to the console until the N amount of primes have been found.
#include <iostream> using namespace std; int prime(unsigned long long x); int main() { long long x; long long y; long long z;
[Code] ....
At least that's my goal. Currently it will accept the number and check if it is prime. It will then ask for the N amount of primes but will not return any primes. I have check with numbers a I know have prime factors. I have added the comment //XXXXXXXX To show where the problem appears to occur.
I need writing a macro that would return true/false (1/0) )value. I want to check if a certain element exists in the array. The macro will accept array, its size, and the value to be compared, and must return yes or no. Here is the code that I have written:
Code: #define EXISTS(T, a, n, val) do { char ret=0; T *a_ = (a); size_t n_ = (n); for (; n_ > 0; --n_, ++a_){ ret = (*a_ == val); } } while(0)
I have this function that is supposed to take a float as a parameter and then call the getLine() method to accept the users input. The function basically just checks to see if what the user input was of the same data type, if it is it returns the input value, if not then it keeps looping through taking new input until its correct. The problem is no matter what number you put in the output always returns as 140734799803512.
float InputValidation(){ float num; string strInput; while (true){ getline(cin, strInput);
Is it possible to create a function that can both return and display a value. I was trying to make a program that computes and prints terms of the Fibonacci series using a recursive function.
I am writing a program with a function that includes a long loop. I need this function to return a value when each loop is done, to send this value to output, in order to follow the progression. But I don't know how to do it in easy way. The function is like follow:
int goC(){ ... // some local value definition for(int i = 0; i < 1000; i++){ ... // a lot of calculations done here return i; // -> return the value after each loop is done } }
Here it only returns one value, i = 0. Clearly it's wrong.
I have to compare data in excel and csv based on the file name and update the status of file from CSV into excel file by creating a new column status on weekly basis.
Is it possible to create an app that can be saved on my desktop that can be used with an excel file that is saved on my desktop? I have opened VS 2010 and I have created a form design that has a button for every sheet name in my excel file. All of the sheet names are hidden with the exception of one. When a button is pressed on the c# form, I would like for that sheet to be shown in excel. Then once the updates have been made to that sheet in excel, I want a button to be at the top of the excel worksheet that will hide that worksheet again and return to the form c# form...can that be done?
How do I do the operation of two integers that gives you the results?
I'm supposed to write a program that:
Asks the user for an integer Asks the user for one of '+', '-', '*', or '/' (as a character) Asks the user for another integer Performs the given operation on the two integers, and prints out the result of
Please enter an integer: 4 Please enter an operation (+, - , *, /): * Please enter another integer: 5
4 * 5 = 20
Code: #include <iostream> using namespace std; int main() { int x; int c; int d; char e;
I mean on the executable file. It just displays the results and quickly flashes away, cin.get() has no effect and system("PAUSE") is undeclared.
I never found a single sure way to pause effectively. Is there a method that works all the time? Sometimes cin.get() gets skipped even in the code itself. The IDE I am using is Code Blocks if that matters any.
I have created a game that functions correctly, however, for balancing and future changes, I would like to record results .txt document (its 1v1 btw). I already have code to determine who won and what I am looking for is some way to keep track of different match-ups for the different characters. Im looking for something like this:
the numbers are the amounts of wins a given character has over another character. I'm looking for code to open the .txt file and add 1 to the respective win total so I can do balance changes and such.
The point of this program is to calculate how many cents the user would have after a certain number of days. The user is given .01 cent on day one, and this amount is doubled with each passing day. I cannot seem to figure out how to add all of the results. Currently, my program simply outputs them to the screen. How do I tell it to add all of the results and store the sum in one variable?
#include <iostream> #include <cmath> #include <iomanip> int main() { using namespace std; float totalF = 0;//total amount earned after number of days specified by user have passed
I'm using below code snippet to fetch Youtube video titles, when you enter a query into a listbox, and press the search button:
int resultsn = 0; void YTReq(string appname) { devkey = "my-dev-key-here"; YouTubeRequestSettings settings = new YouTubeRequestSettings(appname, devkey); request = new YouTubeRequest(settings);
[code].....
But what i get is exactly 500 results, even if i remove the 500 search limit radio-button (i've put that later, after seeing that the search only fetches 500 results). But when i search the same query on YT, i get 1000s of results. What's the wrong with my code?
Here is the site that I want to interact Genderchecker
I want to set a value to a specific element in a web site. Perform a click on an element that is image. Get the result <span> text into string variable...
I am nearing completion of my first real app.. but I noticed a nasty catch in that it consumes 10-20% CPU at idle. I went around commenting features that I suspected may be causing it but it had 0 impact and my CPU usage at idle is still 10-20%.
The program has two threads, one of which is used very little and the second one consume needless CPU.. The only clues a profiler gives me is
I need to make a program that returns pascal's triangle of N rows. I actually need to make a function of format "int **func(int n)". I don't know how to go about that, so I am trying this method first, but I seem to be getting an endless loop.
Code: #include <stdlib.h>#include <stdio.h> int *rowN(int rowNum, int* prevRow) { int *rowN; rowN=realloc(rowN,(rowNum+1)*sizeof(int));
